"A lovely hotel with quite dated rooms "

The hotel was very lovely in the foyer area the restaurant and the bars but when it came to the room I was disappointed, I booked a superior double for a special occasion and was not made to feel special at all, the room itself was quite tired looking with paint peeling off the wall, we ordered room service for a snack when we returned form the theatre which was absolutely diabolical and quite inedible, I will not be returning not recommending

"Awesome Hotel"

Stopped at the Dilly Hotel, the Hotel was great. Really friendly staff, very large and comfortable bedroom, and the breakfast was outstanding.

"Good Customer Service"

Our room was on the 6th floor and was reasonably spacious. Although the windows were small, due to the fact we were on the 6th floor, there was plenty of lighting to help with this. The idea of a raised level for the desk and seating to have natural light on this area via the raised small windows, shows the usage of space was well thought out.We found all the staff to be courteous and friendly, giving the impression that nothing would be a bother. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices for a variety of appetites, just perfect. We did not make use of the other facilities due the shortness of our stay but we would most certainly make time on our next visit. Having visited London the previous month staying in a different hotel, I could easily make comparisons. The Dilly will definitely be my first choice for future theatre breaks.

"In need of refurbishment"

Excellent location but in need of updating. The decor throughout the hotel is very dark and dismal. Our room was spacious but unbearably hot. The heating is controlled centrally so you can`t adjust the heat in the room - we couldn`t sleep for the heat! The tap in the bathroom constantly dripped and as mentioned earlier the decor was very dark in the room. The breakfast food was extremely good but due to uncomfortable room conditions I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

"Ideally situated for our weekend trip"

Found the Dilly easily after exiting the underground network. On arrival the receptionists explained everything we needed to know and directed us to our room.Had a slight problem disturbing our nights sleep but this was quickly rectified by changing our room and a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. Second nights sleep was perfect. Would definetly return.

"Very enjoyable stay "

The Dilly seems to get mixed reviews, but I can Honestly say that I had perfectly fine stay at this lovely hotel. My room was very comfortable and spacious, with a good sized bathroom and quality towels. The staff that I met were friendly and helpful, the leisure facilities were superb, including a wonderful swimming pool. I would happily stay at The Dilly again.

"Comfort in a central hotel"

Lovely hotel, clean comfortable and all the little extras that you could want. Within walking distance of theatres and tourist sights as well as good shopping close by. Just perfect

"Midweek stay"

I stayed at The Dilly on a Wednesday. Welcome at reception was warm and we were offered the option of a discount breakfast. Room was clean and spacious however, the air conditioning was loud and did not cool the room and the lights in the bathroom did not work at all.

"overrated "

although this hotel is in a prime location the hotel is looking tired and in need of some TLC. arrived late on the friday evening. The hotel room was so hot we had no sleep with the aircon pumping out warm air. the bathroom needed a good clean with the toiletries half empty. and a used shower cap was propped above the mirror. wouldnt recommend, was much nice 5 star hotels in london

Very polite and helpful staff. Room comfortable but in some regards a little shabby -air conditioning unit needs some attention in respect of cleaning. The bathroom is a little old and tired and would benefit from replacement. The public areas are beautiful
