"A good base to explore Dundee"
The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was kept in very clean condition by the staff. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there was a wooden door between our room and the next and this transmitted too much sound. I think these family - paired rooms should only be used in isolation as a last resort. The bathroom was and was kept clean amnd stocked over the five day stay but I think it is unreasonable to put just two teabags out for two adults per day. I had to make several trips to stock up - we are not excessive tea-drinkers! The fabric of the bathroom was ok but a botched job had been made of re-applying sealant and there were several mould spots in the shower tray. The breakfasts were generous but not kept as hot as I have found in other HI hotels. The staff at breakfast were extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay but it is not the best HI we have been in.
