Price was reasonable staff were friendly and the location was ideal. Close to the metro, market directly outside the hotel and an excellent supermarket across the street. Great view from the room, but the drawbacks were that the bed squeaked and there was only one english channel on the tv. Apart from that i would definitely recommend the Ajiel Hotel.

No flat screen TV`s in our rooms!Excellent hotel for visiting London. Tube was 5 minutes walk away.

Very easy to get to. Rooms clean, comfortable and very functional. Breakfasts unimaginative and lacking in variety. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good lift between floors to transport luggage.

A couple of people found it a bit cold as the heating wasn`t on yet, but we didn`t have that problem. Breakfast was included and was your typical continental.

The hotel was close to Convention station so we took the Metro from Gare Du Nord which was straight forward. The hotel was clean and the room was a nice size. The bathroom looked like it was newly refurbished and very spacious. There wasn`t to much choice for breakfast but on the whole we had a pleasant stay.

A tip on the local cafes:- The Convention - opposite the metro - don`t eat there, the food is rubbish, 1/10. Opposite this there is a street cafe - same side as metro - thats ok - 5/10. Opposite the hotel is a corner cafe - excellent food and not expensive - 10/10.

The 3 nights for 2 deal is such good value, the breakfast is filling and ample- continental style and the coffee is fresh. Our rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were only too pleased to offer assistance and advice. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a clean, friendly hotel with excellent links to the city centre.There is a supermarket opposite where we bought sandwiches and water cheaply to have for a picnic later by the Seine. Definitely a place to return to.

The best quiche in boulangerie to the left of hotel as you exit. only downside was that the WI-FI never worked in my room. Apparantly does not work above 3rd floor according to another guest - but works well in lobby area. I would definitely stay here again on another visit

It is well sited, clean and has friendly staff with one exception. There was a rogue receptionist on the desk one night. The hot water system had broken and I was told that it would be fixed that day. I returned late that night the receptionist was unaware of the problem and would only say that it was not his problem. It was fortunate that the problem was fixed as this individual didn`t consider himself a representative of the company.

Convenient location, near places to eat and drink. Just being refurbed - bathrooms only - very well done, apart from shower head did not appear to stay upright whilst on hook. No slow draining sinks. one of the reviews i read before going said, don`t listen to all the negative comments, i didn`t and was very pleased.

I`d definitley stay here again....and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere reasonably priced to rest their heads inbetween taking in the sights.Staff are also very helpful...and the hot chocolate not bad either!!
