"Good Location"
This hotel was a 5 minute walk from a metro which made the entire city really accessable. It was clean and comfortable and the reception staff were great. The only problems we had with the hotel was the shower holder was broken, the only english channel on the tv was CNN (there should be more english channels - or at least english subtitles) The other problem was the breakfast lady - everything was an effort for her. Other than that - the stay was quite pleasant.

"Generally good"
The hotel was in very good location, nice, friendly and very helpful staff. tasty breakfast. good for people looking for simple accomodation. located on busy street with a lot of small shops and restaurants. Worse of the price.

"It was a nice hotel, front desk was very welcoming and the rooms were of a good size. (All be it a"
The Hotel would have exceeded our expectations had it been double glazed to reduce the sound from the very noisy streets outside and tea and coffee facilities in the room. This would have made our stay in the Hotel perfect. The location was good , access to the Metro was good and we enjoyed our stay.

"good location, basic breakfast"
Basic hotel in a good location, but the breakfast was basic and rooms were slightly cold at night and had no hair dryer.

"Excellent location, basic, but clean and cheery!"
We stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel to be an excellent base for our trip. It was handy for Convention metro station (line 6) and the area was full of lovely shops. Generally it was an ideal place to stay. The room was small but well cleaned and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely use this hotel again. Recommended!!!

"Clean, well-maintained Parisian Hotel"
A little bit out of the way (closest metro is Convention) but the room and staff were friendly and decent. TV`s in rooms, excellent showers, albeit in small bathrooms, and comfy beds. Good value for money for a few nights stay.

"Reasonable sized rooms, clean, friendlly and helpful staff, near metro, Great Price"
Although not in the centre it is near to the metro and only takes 15mins to get to central Paris. Conceirge all night and restaurants near the hotel. We are a family of six from two to 42 and it was perfect for a 3 night stay in Paris

"Great Value for Money"
I considered some of the comments left by other guests before booking and decided that I would give the Ajiel a try for the weekend. Our checking in was friendly, very quick and in English . We stayed in a room overlooking the main road outside and yes it was a little noisy but manageable. All in all the room was tidy, clean and well decorated, there were a couple of rough bits in the bathroom but nothing that couldn`t be `tarted up` later. The only thing that I would suggest needs improvement is the serving staff at breakfast, they obviously didn`t speak or understand English thus I witnessed most of the guests at breakfast were a little frustrated by lack of communication. We had a great weekend and the hotel was more than satisfactory. Thanks

"Reasonable, good position, near to lots of places to eat."
Pleasant hotel with helpful staff. Rooms clean and well presented. Location near to Metro and lots of places to eat, 1 hours walk along the Seine to Eiffel Tower. Market on a Sunday, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast buffet somewhat chaotic at the weekend, but lovely pastries and coffee. Would benefit from Tea/Coffee making facilities in room or a hot drinks machine in lobby. Otherwise excellent.

"Very friendly staff and close to the metro but ......"
1. Not easy to find the hotel2. No air conditioning so the windows had to be opened and therefore it was very noisy3. Only one pillow each4. Peeling paint in the bathroom and the light fitting was broken5. No hair dryer6. No kettle to make tea7. Strange tasting coffee at breakfast8. Bath not cleaned properly and the toilet pan was stainedHowever, if you can get the above fixed, we will certainly consider going back.

"Great hotel - just what we required"
Staff - very friendly and helpfulRoom - Clean and tidy with good en suiteBreakfast - good value, cerial, bread cheese, pastry, yogurt, juice and coffee were what I had each dayEnvironment - safe, full of life , great shops and great market right outside on a Tuesday.Eating - I`d recommend La Source near the metro if you like pub food and next door does more traditional food. Both have loads of local custom. Drinks are expensive but eau municapal is free if you prefer to buy your booze at the Champion supermarket, just 60 seconds from the hotel. We would definitely return to this hotel.

"Ideally situated budget hotel"
Hotel in an excellent position to explore Paris, budget hotel, very clean, our room on the top floor was spacious, staff pleasant and helpful, continental breakfast basic but OK, Champion supermarket 100 metres to left as you exit hotel, metro 300 metres to right, good resonable Chinese take away or eat in `Taste of Shanghai` or something similar 200m on left as you walk to metro - overall, excellent budget hotel

"Tv is broken and noisy all the night."

"Good value for money & great location!"
Located relatively central, this is a very good budget option. We`ve missed our last underground train one night and we`ve managed to walk to the hotel from Eiffel Tower in just under 1 hour. A very clean litte place, towels changed and room tidied up daily and, if it wasn`t for the door banging every morning, it would have been just perfect.Tip: make sure you report to the kitchen lady when you go for breakfast in the morning! If they don`t know you are there you won`t get any pastries!!

"2/3 of the staff were pleasant,(yes, you who was on shift Sunday 5.30pm!!!!!)....... but ........."
got there late Saturday eve. They hadnt got our reservation, thankfully, i had printed my invoice prior to leaving! So, what was meant to be a double room, we were subjected to a twin room for the first night. Trust me, I was happy to be into the double rom the 2nd night. I know it may sound like there`s not a big difference, but having an extra couple of foot to manouvre around the room in was needed. This hotel is not for the claustrophobic, excellent for ex-convicts as the lift and colours dipict a prison. Faciities were awful...like a getto! Seriously, cannot be a 4* rating???? You can hear every bit of noise next door, from conversations to one using the `tardis` bathroom! The only advantage to this hotel is the locatiom, and that is, only if, you enjoy walking. Its a good hours walk to the Eiffel Tower, thus a great way to see Paris and how the natives live........

"Good value for money"
overall was really good, we stayed there 4 nights (2 adults + 2 childern) , really noisy as the hotel is on a busy road but was still good to stay as te bathroom and the bedding were really clean. rooms were made up every day and bathroom was cleaned every day. we had a problem with the toilet flush they fixed it for us in a matter of an hour. really good. very close to most of the attractions by bus and we even walked to many of them.... loved it

"Clean, friendly and conveniently located for a sight seeing tour on a budget"
If you are visiting Paris to sight see and want a basic, friendly, clean and convenient place to rest your head then this will be just fine. If you want all the glitz, whistles and bells then look elsewhere. This is located close to one of the many Metro stations in Paris (Convention) and only a short walk away from the Latin Quarter. If you are taking your car then there is lots of side street pay meter parking (free in August) around the hotel and a secure 24hr car park just 10 mins walk away. Friendly and helpful staff, basic continental breakfast. Rooms would benefit by having tea/coffee making facilities.

"Nice, ckean and friendly hotel"
Stayed for 3 nights and one day, 1 doulbe and a twin room. Easy to travel from the local metro station and to get back to the town centre. Plenty of different shops, bars and cafes to choose from locally. Nice and clean - Helpful staff - Shower needs updated and could not be used properly because it was not attached to wal. Only given 1 days supply of shower gel.l. One window could not be opened in the both bedrooms. But they were ckean and brightly decorated and fresh towels and beds made daily. Dissapointed that there was no tea making facilties in the bedroom (bring your own kettle). Ar breakfast there was no English tea and you could not have more than 4 crossants and only a choice of 2 cereials my teenagers wanted more choice as the continetal menu was not enough but I thought it was adequate. Would tell others about hotel and would stay again but I would like to try other local hotels, It was worth what we paid #288

"Proportional to price I suppose."
We would have prefered to have a small fridge and tea / coffee making arrangement in the room. Breakfast was ok but normal tea bag was a miss and I had to go without any tea during my stay ! Reception desk was of great help always with a smile. Rooms were cleaned regulerly and to our liking. Thanks to all over there.

"Exactly what I wanted, at the right price"
Very friendly and accommodating staff. We even turned up to breakfast at 2 minutes before 10 one day and received no hassle at all.Road outside is a bit on the noisey side, but location was fine for us (5 minute walk from convention metro) and the price is right!
