Guest rating: | 20/8/2008 | | "Nice hotel but one problem" | | | | Overall we had a lovely stay in Domus Aurea, reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the roof had a beautiful view of the surrounding city, the room was also nice although quite small. The only problem we experienced was a strange smell in the room when we returned for the day. We told reception staff but it wasn`t fixed. However location was excellent literally a four minute to termini station which provided access around the city.

Guest rating: | 30/7/2008 | | "Would use again" | | | | lovely room, really comfy bed and really nice bathroom, all really nicely fitted, great location, really easy to get to places from here and felt safe at night in the area despite reputation. Only problem was slack staff at breakfast, would be nice for them to enable you to have your breakfast, that bit of service was the only problem. otherwise, great and would use again if in rome for a short stop.

Guest rating: | 29/7/2008 | | "Great location, great restuarants nearby!" | | | | The rooms were a bit small but such is Rome. Being English all we had to watch on the TV news or porn! But the location could not have been better! And the breakfast pastries were lovely! The trattorias around the block were friendly family owned places and the station is so close. If we ever go back to Rome we`ll try book there again.

Guest rating: | 13/7/2008 | | "Customer Services was the BEST" | | | | The Hotel is in the perfect spot ot Rome, right in the Center, is walking distance from the Main Underground station, "Termini" but i had the option to walk to wherever i wanted, because everything was so closed to museum, Shopps, etc.. as for the Hotel, the rooms were in good standers and the brekfrast really good and very friendy members of STAFF and YES they do speak english!! :)

Guest rating: | 14/6/2008 | | "Good service, good food, clean room, staff polite and helpful (not friendly, it`s a Roman thing)" | | | | On arrival we checked in our bags to a secure room, enabling us to start sightseeing straight away. Reception was very organised even booking us a local restaurant for our evening meal. Only complaint about room was lack of draw space, otherwise very well laid out. Plenty of choice at breakfast but if you drink tea it may be worth packing a few bags in your luggage as they run out of breakfast tea very quickly (had to drink lemon tea without milk for last 2 days)

Guest rating: | 6/5/2008 | | "Good breakfast in a wonderful roof top location with a good view. I would stay there again." | | | | Conveniently situated by walking for several sites in Rome. Bathroom small, so awkward for big people but my girlfriend and I managed to fit in the shower together. Good restaurant in the street around the corner. Also a friendly kiosk selling food and drinks opposite Termini Stazione. Even offerred to open the wine bottle, but I always take a bottle opener on holiday.

Guest rating: | 14/4/2008 | | "-" | | | | shower facilities inadequate, shower only had shower curtain which resulted in water flowing into the bathroom. Room appeared well used although only recently refurbished ie flooring showed signs of heard wear, some cupboards broken. However clean.

Guest rating: | 14/4/2008 | | "Honest hotel very near Termini Station. Clean rooms but a little small but that`s expected in Rome" | | | | 5 minutes walk to station and 10 minutes to Republica. Watch out for drop outs hanging around Termini, especially in the early morning when heading for the Airport buses which pick up and drop on the same road as the hotel and to the side of the station building. Not many restaurants in the area, but you can find some if you try. Didn`t have time for breakfast as bus left for airport before breakfast starts 7am, but restaurant look clean and well presented.Middle aged couple of brits.
