| Guest rating: | 20/12/2010 | | "perfect location" | | | | the hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk to notting hill and portabello road, the hotel overlooks hyde park. there is an excellent pub next door "the swan" with good ales and very good meals. some rooms in the hotel can be on the small size but have all you need. the staff are helpful and friendly we enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

It is convenient to the tube and yet allowed me to put distance from the city when it was time to rest and relax.Every staff member was exceptional in his/her commitment to servicing my needs. Professional, polite, pleasant, each and everyone.I expect to stay at the Corus on my next trip(s). Thank you for soliciting my remarks.

It was utter chaos once you entered the breakfast room. It was more like sitting in a works canteen. The hot food area was not big enough to accommodate the number of diners and people were constantly waiting for the food trays to be replenished. Having said that the food was good.

In all a very good hotel to stay in handy for tube and paddington station with a real London pub nearby.

" | | | | The firts room directed to was atwin standard room when booked and paid for a Executive double. The only consilation was they quickly arranged another room. But did seem like trying to get away with it. They said when we complained not many of those rooms available and if were they were not ready.

It was clean and our room was serviced every morning which is the main thing but do feel a makeover would make alot of difference. Also, it was very noisy as the windows were not double glazed so was difficult to get off to sleep at night with it being on a busy road next to hyde park.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic but they had a good system for dealing with mas influx of guesta at busy times.Room rather dark as only one small window, bathroom also small. Bed small double & not very comfortable, new mattress would be a huge improvement.

Breakfast was varied and the staff were all courteous. It takes only a few minutes to walk there from Paddington via streets that feel comfortably busy and safe after the midnight train.
