I appreciated the small kitchen area. I liked the decor and fittings. My only criticism was that there was no bedside table and reading light and one had to get out of bed to put out the very bright room light. I would also have appreciated a rug to step out of bed on !

Very clean and with the added facilities of fridge and cooker. Bed was large and comfortable. The only flaws were that the shower was not hot - more like luke warm! We could also have done with some lamps in the room to make it more cosy, as the lighting is there was very bright and harsh. Apart from that, we were very pleased overall and will more than likely use this hotel again.

(whining neighbour asking us to turn the TV down!!) the place was value for money. Clean and easy to find. Service with a smile and quality appearance. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but the shower certainly made up for that as it was awesome!

The rooms are very small but comfortable and clean. And it is within walking distance of tourist hotspots. The staff were professional but an extra smile would have made us feel more welcomed as a point of difference. We would stay there again.

The room was smelly, a ventilation machine outside the window was making noise and the bathroom was customised for disabled meaning my head hit on the shower. I complained and got given a tiny room on the ground floor. And to finish off, the hotel charges £2.5 per suitcase if asked to keep luggage for a few hours because as the receptionist said "it is our way to tell people we don`t want to be keeping luggage". One good thing, running water in the shower had very good pressure and was always hot with no problems.

Reception staff efficient and pleasant on arrival. There were some cleanliness issues. Net curtains looked dirty. Decorative brown cushions on the bed were stained-would have been better not have had them at all. Some cobwebs in evidence and towel rail in bathroom and walls could have been cleaner. Double bed was made up for only single occupancy i.e. duvet did not cover bed. Request for this to be rectified was unsuccessful. Fortunately it was a warm night. Bed whilst firm was ok.All in all ok for overnight stay but would not wish to stay longer.

The room was small however they managed to get most essentials in a small space including double bed (with very VERY hard mattress), wardrobe, desk, hob and crockery cupboard and TV. The bathroom was very small and unfortunately the shower leaked. The major gripe that I had was the lighting - the main light was very bright but sadly there was no dimmer and no bedside lamp. I went to reception to request one but was told it was not possible, even once I had explained that my 8yr old was anxious about being away from home in a dark room but unable to sleep with a glaringly bright light..... not great customer care! Despite this the price was reasonable for the accommodation in a good location and for one night only - any longer and I would have struggled but one night was fine.

| Guest rating: | 3/7/2010 | | "bumped" | | | | The hotel was lovely, when we eventually saw the room - unfortunately they tried to bump us into a vastly inferior holiday apartment as they had overbooked - even though we had booked three months in advance. They put two non smokers in a smoking apartment which smelt of stale smoke. We rang the hotel to get the problem resolved which took over an hour, as the manager wouldn`t speak to us or ring us back as promised. Eventually the manager was reached and we requested a refund, at which point we were told we could go back to the hotel and have our original room. After all this palaver we missed the first hour and a half of the event we had gone to London to see and the manager didn`t even have the good manners to speak to us personally and apologise. Won`t be staying there again in any great hurry - shame really as it is a very nice and modern hotel with comfortable rooms, very neat and clean.

I asked why we had to be re-located when lots of other guests were still to arrive and they said it was because they had already allocated rooms and printed off all the arrival sheets. Well I obviously found that unacceptable as effectively they were choosing an early arrival over and above other customers to move hotels. As I had already phoned them that morning about parking it was the least they could have done to let me know the problem before trawling across London to the hotel. Eventually they backed down and found me a room but it wasn`t exactly a friendly welcome and they had seemingly made life easy for themselves by pre-allocating rooms.

Our room was on the ground floor and window overloooked fire escape, could hear staff running up and down fire escape stairs very loudly. Rudeley awoken by Fire alarm test going off at 8:00am on Sunday morning, not great.

However, the room was very small, so much so that the double bed fitted from end to end so i had to climb over my partner in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. bed was too hard, and there was a horific sound just outside the window all night .Dont know if it was the air conditioning or what it was. We were lucky to get an hours sleep all night. Sorry but we would not stay there again.
