Excellent room, large and airy, with lovely view of the dock. Good choice for breakfast. Well situated with easy access to tube or bus and within walking distance of many attractions. Can recommend Jack the Ripper Museum

"Lovely hotel with stunning settings"

The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from outside the hotel really made the visit.

"Tower hotel"

Excellent location, lots of restaurants, cafes and Tesco express a few minutes away. St Katharine`s dock is located behind the hotel and was well worth visiting - very pretty with a choice of places to eat and drink.The hotel rooms are spacious (although a little dated). Beds were comfortable, bath with overhead shower, safe and iron/ ironing board. No mini bar but complimentary bottled water in room. The food at the hotel was good, wide choice for breakfast and evening meals were good (although we only ate at the hotel restaurant one evening) My only negative is the building work being carried out, which we were not informed of.Nevertheless, I would stay here again.

Hotel location was fantastic. The hotel was nice but there were renovations taking place throughout the day that we did not know about, so it was quite noisy when we were around the hotel. There were no toilets available in the bar/restaurant which is not ideal when having a meal and a few drinks. Our room 447 had an issue with water continuously flow out of the bath overflow metal grate, which was really annoying when were we sleeping

A wonderful stay, in a very comfortable room, breakfasts were excellent and all staff very helpful!

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The bedrooms are now a little old-fashioned but workable. Unfortunately, the bathroom let the whole place down ? there was rust around the fittings in the bathroom, the tiles and shower curtain were dirty ? there was pink mould on them. And unfortunately, there were patches of black mould on the ceiling.

Great location but the rooms are looking tired and are in need of updating. Breakfast is not worth the money, much cheaper 5 mins walk away. The restaurant offer ?pub food? you do feel that you`re paying for a view rather than the facility the hotel

What a lovely hotel, beautifully clean. Staff were so helpful and nice. Tried the resturant and had a wonderful meal. Tried the cocktail bar one to many times128558;128558;. Such a good position lovely to see the bridge at night. Would love to stay again

Paid extra for a late check out, 3pm only to be locked out of our room at 4.45 housekeeping wouldn`t let us in, so trip back down to reception despite getting our room key reset for the 3pm check out. Rooms are tiered and not very clean, dust on headboard, lamp shades, dripping tap and mould on tiles in the bathroom.

We arrived at the hotel after a long coach and train journey from Plymouth 15.30. It was nice to see that the hotel had left a little gift for my wife on her birthday. After a about a hour relaxing we decided to get a nice bath. After loads of attempts there was no hot water. I rang reception after about 30mins a engineer turned arrive and checked the was temperature, he suggested we would have to move rooms. After waiting approximately 20mins. We changed rooms. This now made us late for the show so we had to get a taxi to the ABBA venue £30. Also the new room was substandard. Very disappointed after waiting so long for our weekend away.

This hotel is situated right next to The tower bridge and the much unknown st Katherine`s Dock. A hidden gem with lovely restaurants. Go from busy London to peaceful bliss in 5 minutes.

Heating control stuck on 20 unable to adjust ,heated towel rail did not work . Bathroom very dated with Rawlplug left hanging out of wall . Toilet very low to floor so anyone with any kind of difficulties would not have been able to use

A great location with views over the Thames, Tower Bridge, less than a 100 metres from The Tower of London and only a very short walk to Tower Hill underground station. Our room was very comfortable with a great view. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to all.

"Poor facilities in room."

Pillows too soft,mattress too hard. Room overlooked by another. Fridge locked( no mini bar is fine but fridge should be available for items purchased from shop) Inadequate lighting in room. Kettle wasn`t on display so didn`t realise thier was 1 until the 2nd day. Unable to attend show due to illness caused by Coffee in room. Overall a very disappointing weekend

"Shabby Hotel. Wonderful shoe"

We contacted the hotel to arrange a twin room. We got a double bed in a room so small that there was only room on one side of the bed for a bedside table. The furnishings were really shabby, worn and dirty. Really disappointing.
