"Shabby Hotel. Wonderful shoe"
We contacted the hotel to arrange a twin room. We got a double bed in a room so small that there was only room on one side of the bed for a bedside table. The furnishings were really shabby, worn and dirty. Really disappointing.

"Mixed Bag"
Stayed at this Hotel in the past , that`s why I booked it.Great location and generally a good Hotel. The room we were allocated was not in good order!! Needs a complete overhaul, to be fair the Hotel is undergoing refurbishment and no doubt our room will at some stage be part of that.To compensate us the Hotel give us complimentary breakfast both morning because there was no other rooms available.

We were allotted a small, basic room. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very expensive (£ 25 per person) The hotel is quite a long way from the tube station.

Location is good. Allocated a room on 1st floor with view out over rooftop to air conditioning units. Very disappointing compared with previous visits to this hotel. Hotel breakfast quoted as £25 per person so walked out to St Katherines dock cafe and had good breakfast for much less. Distance from Tower Hill underground not excessifve BUT does involve some steep steps - unless you take the long way round. Poor and infrequent eastbound circle line trains to Kings Cross. Difficult to get to eastbound platform with heavy cases.

Ordered beef burger got chicken burger .. confusing for the guest didn`t know about the bar and was at first refused entry Saturday at 11 am told all booked it was empty at the time..

"Tower Hotel"
On the whole, hotel very good. Staff very friendly. In very good position overlooking Tower Bridge. Needs a lot of renovation in rooms, woodwork chipped, paint scratched. Noticed rotting window cills in breakfast area. Outside needs sandblasting and cleaning up. It`s a shame because these few things, stop it from being excellent.

"Very helpful and welcoming reception staff"
The room was perfect with a fabulous view over the Thames Tower Bridge and the Shard. The bathroom needs attention as the shower head did not work properly and showering was difficult if not impossible

The initial room I was put in had mould present so I asked to be moved, which I was but it doesn`t feel acceptable to put someone in a room with mould present. When I booked the room there was no mention of the construction works taking place and nor was I contacted to be advised. The hotel is in need of freshening up, the paintwork and furniture are very dated and it no longer feels as special as it did. Which is a shame.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and found the room size to be a good standard unfortunately this time the room was small and very basic. The room is a standard 2 star hotel room. Will not be staying here again.

"Boiling"
No working air conditioning and noise. Room was fine, a little noisy being put next to the lift! However, it was boiling. Air con wasn`t working, the hotel evidently knew this as there was a fan on in the room on arrival. Very hot.

The hotel decor was dated, although we had noproblems without room we spoke to other guests who had a number of problems with, cleanliness of the room and light fittings hanging out of ceiling in bathroom.

"Good location at a reasonable price"
We stayed at the Tower Hotel for a night after going to a West End theatre. The room was fine (had a view of the Thames), the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Will certainly consider staying at the Tower Hotel again the next time we visit London.

Given room on 7th floor, seemed OK but no view of tower, room very hot , no air-conditioning, hat to ask for fan , fire alarm went off at 1oclock am on departure day. I paid£777.00 for room only no breakfast included I feel a bit robbed. If you book with direct hotels make sure your getting the right deal . Not the best.

We stayed in an executive double room with a view that was outstanding of tower bridge! Room was clean, plenty storage, bed was comfortable and the hotel generally was of a high quality. Would definitely come back again x

This was a present for my wife as it was her birthday on the 1st August,and our wedding anniversary on the Sunday, that is wht I book two nights, Our first night was lovely,our room was very good, my wife loved it, in the morning a letter telling us we had to move because of maintenance. They gave us a new room , they upgraded us, well if that was a upgrade done think much of it, ok yes coffee maker, dressing gowns, and a free mini bar water,coca-cloa, tin of large And a can of gin, ha ha . The room was very hot,the air con didn`t work so they left an air conditioner unit in the room, not very good. The tv kept going on and off by itself, I very much let down for a special weekend, what a let down from a nice hotel.

Great location but parts of the hotel are dated. Breakfast whilst good was very overpriced at £25 per head. Be warned there are better eateries at a fraction of the price within a stones throw if you`re happy to get out & explore.

Staff atvthe hotel were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable with little extras such as robes, slippers and complimentary mini bar. We stayed B&B and the food was lovely. Also ate at the Vicinity Bar in the hotel, again great good and a fantastic view

"TRULY EXCEPTIONAL"
From the moment we walked through the entrance we knew that we were going to have a fantastic stay . This trip was booked to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary, and this hotel really exceeded our expectations, all staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble, hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and very well situated for tours, food again was fresh and very well presented .

We had a very pleasant stay at The Tower Hotel which overlooks Tower Bridge and the Thames. Service in the hotel was very good and the staff were lovely. We would definitely go again.

"No air conditioning."
Whilst the hotel rooms appear to have air conditioning, it is merely a fan that circulates the air. Our room was 27 degrees and remained at that level throughout our stay. Reception blamed the age of the building for not having cooling air con, then provided a free standing fan, which helped a bit. It`s a real shame because the hotel is well located and the room decor is very good. The breakfast was also good, albeit quite expensive.

Concierge is excellent taking our cases so we can explore London, although the Vicinity hotel bar not so great, service outside was very slow & the waiting staff were rubbish asking us for £78 for a bill of £63 + a 12.5% service charge for a rubbish service.The temperature in London was 33 degrees, when we got into our very nice room, the heat hit us, the bathroom radiator was on & the air conditioning wasn`t working, when the maintenance man came up after an hour wait at 12.30 at night, he just said it`s not working due to an upgrade, we were offered a fan that was so loud we couldn`t use it & had a sleepless night, we felt dreadful in the morning, tired, shattered & really disappointed.I wouldn`t come here again, nice room but not worth the high price tag
