Guest rating: | 28/5/2010 | "Bijou.boutique with brilliant staff" | | | | Excellent location , very obliging staff who have thought of almost everything possible to make your stay work - definitely a "can do" attitude - well done.lots of little corridors and smallish rooms might make some feel slightly claustrophobic.the quality of everything in the rooms was excellent - fine cotton sheets, large fluffy towels ,best pillows ever .A fun atmosphere that I can happily recommend.I thought all the add ons were rather expensive

| | Guest rating: | 24/5/2010 | "Disappointing check-in." | | | | We informed the hotel of our estimated time of arrival to find at check-in that all rooms had been allocated! They then tried to place us in the `Rubens` (4 star hotel). We showed them our reservation and they admitted they were at fault and decided to put us in a suite for one night until we could be allocated a room the following day. This process took over an hour from arrival even though we had notified them earlier that day that we would be arriving late! A disappointing start to our short break and not the standard expected from a 5 star hotel.
