"A place that you can depend on for the best of service and attention to detail."

I brought my wife here several years ago and have made every effort to return year on year. At no time have we been disappointed and can rely on the consistent high standard of accommodation and service from the moment we enter the threshold. We have visited many places around Europe and further afield. No hotel has been better but a number of domains have been as good notably in France but I found these only after much research and searching out.

"Hotel with character and excellent service."

Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. Certainly 5 star service. I was in a twin room and whilst the decor was unique, room was standard twin size, I think I was expecting it to surpass and be exceptional but that was my only slight disappointment.

"What A Find!"

There are not enough words to say how I feel about this wonderful hotel - i`m very grateful that I found this gem and will definitely be booking again when we visit London. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff made us feel so welcome.

"Great Hotel Rip off from Hotel Direct"

The Hotel is very good and the service exceptional. My only gripe is that if I had phoned theHotel directly, I would have saved over 100 pounds on a two night stay. My advise book direct with the Hotel and don`t use "Hotel Direct" as they add no value in the transaction.

"Very classy and elegant"

From the moment one steps into the reception lobby one is immediately aware of an air of professionalism, a warm welcome and a superior environment. The elegant decor throughout the hotel is a stark contrast to the impersonal atmosphere of many larger hotels.

"Great location, comfortable hotel"

Stayed for one night as part of a theatre break and loved this hotel. It has old world charm, a luxourious feel but although the staff are professional they`re also very warm and welcoming. The room had everything we needed plus the special touches like turning down the bed, closing the curtains, putting a chocolate on the pillow and water by the bed, made for a very special stay. Very convenient location just off Berkley Square but away from any noise, so had a good night`s sleep. Would definitely return.

"A haven in Mayfair!"

Wonderful find! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully traditionally furnished. It is in an excellent location in a quiet street, 5 minutes from Picadilly and Park Lane. Would definitely stay there again.

"Comfortable, friendly, helpful and excellent position"

The Chesterfield gives the impression of being small and traditional which makes it a very cozy and friendly place to stay. The position, just off Berkeley Square was peaceful but a short walk from Regent Street, Green Park, Piccadilly etc. There had been a power cut in the whole street just before we arrived and the attentive staff explained the situation and ushered us to the bar for a complimentary drink while they ensured the power had all come back on permanently - a nice touch. The decor was traditionally English which made it feel almost like a private country house with fresh flowers everywhere. The room had everything we needed and the beds were turned down while we were out at dinner, with a little gift on the pillow each evening. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet, considering it was central London! Breakfast was superb as well. We will definitely use the Chesterfield again and can`t wait to return.

"Lovely boutique hotel exceptional service"

I stopped here with my husband for one night, the hotel is in an excellent location for all the attractions it is a lovely boutique hotel and the service is exceptional, the staff are so polite and they can`t do enough for you, i particularly love the bar area with the pianist, very relaxing, we just had a double room, it`s small but clean wouldn`t like to think i would pay full price for it would definately recommend this hotel for couples not so much for families.

"Comfortable hotel with exceptionally helpful staff "

We had previously had afternoon tea in the restaurant and this made us want to stay at the hotel. Our expectations were definitely met. It is a very traditional hotel, offering comfortable rooms with extra finishing touches to make your stay special. The staff can`t do enough for you and are friendly and efficient but remain unobtrusive. It is the best breakfast we have every had in a hotel. We would recommend it.

"Upper Class hotel in sought after part of London at a very reasonable price."

"Friendly & Cosy - Worth Staying"

We found the staff very friendly and relaxed.The room service was very attentive throughout our 4 days.It was great to have a last drink at night in the small bar.The only very minor criticism is that the room was quite small but overall I`d recommend the hotel

This hotel made our stay in London perfect. The hotel, room and staff were of the highest quality.We were upgraded to a suite which was the best room we had stayed in in any hotel with the little touches all around to make you feel that it was all done just for you.I cannot praise this hotel highly enough and would readily recomend it it anybody.

The hotel is excellent but we had been upgraded to a superior room where it was quite obvoius that someone had been smoking and this should have been noticed and rectified prior to our arrival - the hotel re-located us immediately on request

"Wonderful hotel, Wonderful Staff and Wonderful Experience."

My husband and I stayed for the first time at the Chesterfield Hotel in August last and cant praise it highly enough. From the moment we stepped inside the door we were treated by all staff in such a courteous and professional manner. Our room was very well appointed, spotlessly clean with a real touch of luxury. Breakfasts were great with a very wide choice. We look forward to returning again very soon. A real gem.

Our stay at the Chesterfield Mayfair was very pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised by the luxury standard of the furnishings. The rooms were well equipped, compact and clean. The service we received was excellent. In every aspect we felt we were given personal service. The service and the food at breakfast were excellent. We were happy with the choice on offer - cooked breakfast as well as continental options. On a bit of a downside, the rooms although non-smoking still smelled of cigarette smoke. Having said this, we would be more than happy to stay there again. Good value for money.
