the hotel staff were so good they could not do enough it was are 45th wedding anniversary when we got back to are room they was a bottle of wine and a card which we though was a very nice thought .

"Fantastic Position"

Despite being situated adjacent to the station, the hotel was quiet. The deluxe room was not overly large but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The staff were really attentive and desperate to please. The dining room overlooks the Strand. Although there was plenty of choice, we did not think the breakfast was quite up to scratch. We would definitely stay here again for its convenience to all the galleries, theatres and Covent Garden.

"Complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates"

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, on arrival we were asked if our visit was for a special occasion and because it was a Birthday celebration, a complimentary bottle of wine and box of chocolates were brought to our room.

The staff make this hotel what it is - they are all wonderful, charming, helpful and you feel like a treasured friend. Miguel, Charlotte, Ursula, Hayley, Grzegorsz, Tomasz, Marie, Cyan and others whose names we did not catch were all delightful. Beds are extremely comfortable and meals and service excellent. A super situation for Central London, especially the theatre district. Thank you.Possibly rather pricey? And the bathrooms could use disabled hand rails....but love the underfloor heating!!

"Perfect in every way !"

Great location and proximity to theatre, Daniel on reception was excellent, so helpful and friendly, accommodated our extra request for Mum`s 80th birthday : room upgraded to suite, wine, fruit, cake ... all hugely appreciated and contributed to a very successful and enjoyable break so THANK YOU !!!

"Wonderful Experience, and will definitely stay again."

Please see my review in "Tripadvisor". "Excellent" rating. Wonderful experience.The noise level is minimal, and the manner with which the hotel is run just adds to the tranquil surroundings (they even put little candle lamps along the sides of the sweeping staircases, and walkways, every single evening!).There is a beautiful, aromatic freshness to everything, and the room (861 - Buckingham Suite) was so very welcoming, and in-keeping with what I would expect from a 4* Hotel. I have had some truly horrible experiences with hotels, but this is what "time-out" is all about.The powerful shower, with its choice of large overhead fixed showerhead, or the hand held shower attachment, set on a massive shower tray, will set the day up right, and the heated floor and towel rail, will add to that wonderful experience.Thank you, and we will definitely see you again soon.

The service of all the staff was excellent. Our room however was not. There was grout missing and wear makes in the bathroom. One of the seats in the bedroom had a burn mark and there was staining to some of the walls in particular around the bin. Also the tv cabinet door appeared broken. This was room 535.

We have stayed here twice and the location and staff are superb!First time we paid extra and upgraded to mini suites which were perfect.This time we didn`t and although it was still a fabulous hotel there were minor faults-our teenagers double room had a bad smell-seemed to be coming from the fridge,there was some peeling wallpaper and our bathroom definitely felt shabby and tired.Also for such a nice hotel the cocktail bar is abyssmal-there is no buzz,no atmosphere,it is like a morgue,had one drink in here and never again-needs a complete shake up!On the whole it is a lovely hotel though and we would certainly stay again.

Nice hotel and well placed for a large number of theatres. We didnt get the twinned room we had asked for and were put in a double bed but it was a nice comfortable bed. Room was noisy from early in the morning due to being in close proximity to the bin area for a nearby billing which had a door with a bleeping alarm when it opened which was several time before 7am and then the bin came shortly after!!!! builiding work also going on in the building next door and therefore workmen arrived with vans etc so all in all nice hotel but shame about the room we were given (which was incidently in separate wing from the main hotel room 816) and would request main hotel room as a must if we ever stayed again.

"Great location but back off on the customer service"

The hotel was very well located right on The Strand. Well within walking distance for both the restaurant in Covent Garden and the show on Drury lane. Whilst the hotel was very nice we felt a bit over awed by the staff. Everytime we entered the hotel it felt a bit like running the gauntlet. The check in was particularly bad with questions about what we were doing after our visit to London. "None of your business" being the answer. Apart from that all good. A comfortable room and great location.

I booked the xxxxx xxxxx Hotel with a few misgivings. The location simply cannot be bettered - at the very centre of the best `hub` in town. But would it be noisy? Would it be travel-stained and weary? Would the staff be jaded and off-hand?Not a bit of it. We had a wonderful room, which was quiet and peaceful. There was a splendid breakfast the next day. The ambience is great and the facilities splendid. There was no noise from the stations or the busy Strand outside. But the best thing of all was the staff: courteous, cheerful and helpful in a way I thought had disappeared. Very many thanks. We will return!

The reception staff were so absolutely lovely that I didn`t feel I was in London! They upgraded us an sent a complimentary bottle of wine! So friendly and helpful. The hotel is wonderfully located for the theatre. One of my personal fav parts was the heated tiles and rain shower in the bathroom!!! Excellent!

"Fantastic West End location."

I booked this as a hidden gem hotel so was delighted to find it was the xxxxx xxxxx. Great value for such a central hotel. The air conditioning was very welcome. The room was small but entirely adequate. The bathroom was tired and could do with replacing but it was clean and the shower was good. Overall, very pleased.
