"Lovely Stay at the Kingsley"

I booked this hotel via a special rate for New Years Eve and I was pleasantly surprised - the rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable and the service from staff was great. The location was brilliant too - we saw a show at the Picadilly theatre and the hotel was within a short walk away as well as being close to the shops on Oxford Street. Would definitely recommend.

This was a loverly hotel, Rooms are basic but very clean would of been better if had mini bar, staff very helpful and nice, breakfast was brill.

We would happily stay at the Thistle again. The accomodation was clean comfortable and within easy walking distance of Central London attractions. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Excellent hotel. We have stayed here before and nothing has changed. Still very good service and very friendly staff. Great location for shopping, restaurants and theatres. The rooms are always clean though our heating wasnt working in our room and it was very cold. Luckily we were out for most of the day. We would have no hesitation in staying here again, but could we have a warm room next time :0)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kingsley. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and it was great location. We didnt prebook breakfast and ended up paying just £10.00 each for a great breakfast with lots of variety. We got a discount on parking at the Broomsbury Sq carpark - instead of £27 for 24 hours it was £20 but you need to ask for discount at carpark when you check out. Would definately stay there again.

"Excellent Hotel"

Nothing but praise for the staff they were brilliant. The food was good the room was good. The location was good. Totteham Court Road tube is 5 minutes walk and the bus to Liverpool St station stops right outside the door. Covent garden is about 7 minutes walk and it is 5 minutes to the shops on Oxfrd Street. offered a room upgrade as our room wasn`t ready for £30. Room was nice enough put shower was poor with little pressure & not very hot either. Otherwise the stay was excellent. Tended to use Holburn tube as nearer for the piccadilly line

Stayed at the Kingsley thistle 19/10/11 for one night. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was immaculate, spacious and extremely comfortable. Overall a lovely hotel, I would deffinately recommend it, great value for money.

"Excellent in every way"

We stayed for 3 nights and were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. I emailed ahead to order champagne for our room on arrival and to enquire about a bigger room as I have a slight mobility problem. Everything was taken care of the room was excellent, clean and modern. The staff are friendly polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was cleaned every day. The location is a stones throw from Covent Garden and an ideal base for sight seeing and shows. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

"Couldn`t have been better"

Stayed for 2 nights and it was fabulous. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent staff . Close to the theatres. Bus stop just outside the door. Short walk to the underground. As stated in the headline comment - `It couldn`t have been better!`

We stayed a single night over the Easter Weekend to celebrate my wife`s 40th birthday. We were upgraded to a spacious junior suite and were well looked after by the staff. The hotel is a short distance from Covent garden and close to many theatres, shops and restaurants. I`d definitely go back again.

The hotel is close to most amenities, shopping, museums, tube station, theatres, restaurants, etc. The food was excellent value for money, service very good in all aspects. We will certainly return there next time we wish to stay in London

"Lovely room and friendly Staff"

The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Central location, short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Secure car parking just around the corner. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again. I would recommend. Only down side is the road noise, but it`s central London so you are bound to get that anywhere.

"excellent location, lovely hotel"

The hotel which has been newly refurbished is very bright and clean. The rooms were quite spacious. The location was fantaastic for going shopping and to Covent Garden. On the down side, they could have been more generous with the tea and coffee sachets in the room. A fire alarm went off on Sat morning and teh whole hotel had to evacuate. No fire thank god. Teh staff handled theincident with great professionalism.Overall, staff were lovely- very helpful and friendly. I will definately stay here again, and would be happy to recommend it to anyone.
