"the location is great after 44 hours from home we were beat."

It would help if the bus would take bills as we didn;t have any change and had to take a cab.

"Very friendly & helpful."

We have stayed in numerous hotels prior to flights but never at the Hol Inn. Enjoyed the stay, had a meal this was good also our room was fine. Reception staff advised us to get a taxis instead of hoppa bus becuase it was only a £1 more and much quicker. We will stay there again.

"Good hotel staff, helpful and great customer service"

Room good soundproof and bed comfortable. Unfortunately boiler packed in so it was a cold shower in the morning. But delightful reception staff arranged luxury car to the airport terminal to apologise for this. I would choose to stay there again

My only complaint is that there were no healthy cereals at breakfast, and the bread and rolls were very boring. What about some nice little croissants and some good Baker`s bread?

"Hotel needed at Heathrow? Can`t go wrong with Holiday Inn"

A very comfortable hotel, staff are customer focussed and friendly. Both the evening meal and breakfast were very good. I would certainly use this hotel again. Very reasonably priced with Hotel Direct.

"The hotel is convenient and just what we needed after returning to UK after our holiday"

It is only 5 mins by taxi from terminal 3, there is a hoppa bus, but this costs 4GBP each and the taxi is 10 GBP. The room was ready, clean, quiet and with lots of space. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a good standard. Just what you would expect from a HI.

"Generally very good and very good value but frustrated by internet problems."

Usual high standard of Holiday Inn except that I was unable to connect to the internet in my room. A cable was provided but no socket to plug into and no wireless network in range. Reception staff promised to get it sorted but no one turned up.

Great location, so close to the airport. Staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. A buffet dinner was a nice surprise and the smiles of the chefs was another pleasure.Get a taxi to the airport, only 10 pounds and the driver helped with luggage. A great all round experience.

"An excellent hotel, but for failure of an early morning call which had been arranged.."

The early call for 5.30 was recorded, but simply did nto occur. Nor did it occur at 6 am. this is a serious error for an airport hotel. On the credit side, the meals were good (but a much too limited bar menu).

"Initial confusion over booking, but quickly sorted out"

Pleasant modern, excellent shuttle access. Sad not to have wifi in the rooms as we are traveling with a tablet and not a plug in laptop. Also surprised to have to pay for internet access for the first time and we have been in the UK over the past four weeks. This caused an initial reaction of resentment, even though it was not a high fee for use. Very nice staff

"A truly quiet experience with good amenities- thumbs up!"

Only criticism was having to get someone to wait on me in the cocktail bar - at least ten minutes went by before I approached the bartrender and asked for service. He was most apo;logetic and offered excellent service promptly.

"this hotel is ideal for when you take a flight from heathrow airport"

This hotel is a definate if you are flying from heathrow its clean and well presented the night stay was exellent value for money and the all you can eat buffet is a must highly reccomended

"No complaints with the hotel but...."

I had to spend an overnight there. The hotel was excellent. However its location, while close to the airport seemed isolated with nothing near by of interest to fill in the hours of the afternoon and evening before my flight the next day. I am not unhappy with the hotel, but in future will prefer to stay in London city.

"Everything was fine, very nice in fact.Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good."

One comment about location. Arriving late in the evening, it was difficult to find your bulding and especially the front entrance. it was easy to miss.Perhaps a sign pointing to main entrance would have been helpful(If there was one, I`m sorry that my friends and I missed it...

nice comfortable hotel. However, when we went to dine we were given a table almost directly below air-conditioning which was blowing out very cold air. We asked to sit elsewhere, but were told the air-con would be turned down. It was eventually, after about 20 mins, but then came on again before we had finished eating. The restaurant was not busy, so didn`t understand why we just weren`t moved. Our food went cold quickly after being exposed to the cold air. Had it not been for that it would have been a completely positive experience

It was a bit annoying when we tried to book in, and they couldn`t find our booking. On production of my booking printout, they miraculously found it. Why? Also, the room was very hot and the air conditioning was totally ineffective.

"Great stay. Very nice hotel. Food is excellent."

When I arrived, my reservation was not on file, but things were worked out within fifteen minutes and I was given a room. The staff was very helpful.
