"Very small rooms,any ladies over size 18 would struggle to get through wet room door"
We obtained three rooms as a hidden gems, rather disappointed when we discovered the rooms were so small approx 10ft wide!! Two other gripes the bar service after 10 pm was poor and when we arrived 30 mins before breakfast was due to finish! food was not replenished. Positive factor close to xxxxx xxxxx

The staff were very efficient and welcoming room was small but nicely designed food at breakfast plenty of choice and just across the road from xxxxx xxxxx ideally situated for our visit to proms in the xxxxx I would recommend the hotel very much so

"Welcoming staff, exceptionally clean"
Recently renovated. Well appointed rooms for a short break. Stayed in room 815 - bit snug around the sides of the bed. Shutter didn`t close complete my - so an early morning wake up.Biggest problem was toilet too close to wall, loo roll virtually on your lap, husband had to sit sideways !! Excellent breakfast

"Friendly staff, clean, comfortable - very small room!"
We had a tiny room - but big enough to sleep and dump overnight bags! Working air conditioning was a big bonus! Clean and fairly well decorated. Lovely breakfast included and very helpful friendly staff. Never cheap staying central London but this did the job nicely!

"Badly sagging bed. Hot water extreme slow running."
The badly sagging bed made it a very uncomfortable night and the hot water was extremely slow running in both the basin Bath/shower.

Our room was quite small but had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean the staff were very happy and friendly but the breakfast was outstanding we have never stayed in a hotel that offers Asian breakfast along side English so much choice and cooked to perfection. My husband certainly enjoyed it.

Welcoming and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean room and all opposite xxxxx xxxxx. The Lancaster Gate, 94 bus stop was about a 100 metres from the hotel and took us straight to Piccadilly Circus and theatreland. Coming back to the hotel after the performance was easy as the frequent 94 bus runs 24hours.xxxxx xxxxx was wonderful, as you would expect and it was a very pleasant walk around the Serpentine. I would recommend this hotel not only for a theatre break but also for Kensington Museums, shopping in Oxford Street and more. We visit London very infrequently but would do this break again.

Staff could not do enough for us and were very polite. Dinner was served well at table and breakfast buffet was very good. On arrival we were given our room key, when we entered the room there was a very very strong and unpleasant smell of tobacco, we promptly complained and was given a different room and profuse apologies from manager and staff, the following day we were upgraded into a executive room which was excellent,

We stopped in the hotel bar for a drink before bed and were hit with a discretionary 10% service charge but when we asked to have the discretionary service charge removed as we prefer to tip we were told that they needed a manager to authorise it to be taken off NOT very discretionary Not very

location is key and this was great. The nearest underground lancaster gate was closed till summer but 7 min brisk walk takes you to Queensway. located right opposite xxxxx xxxxx. we walked through to get to the natural history and V&A museums. We had a twin room which, not large was perfectly fine for all the time we spent in the room. Beds were comfortable, towels fluff. Decor a little tired in places. room temperature was sometimes a little warm, air con didn`t seem to make any difference but fine for March. Breakfast is buffet style and had plenty on offer. we were able to leave our cases which allowed a little more luggage free time. Taxi was about £12 to Euston Station. Great hotel to get to most places, just jump on and off the various underground stop. Easy to change lines.

"Beautiful hotel"
Spent a nice weekend at this hotel. The room was huge and very clean, it had everything I needed. Staff were very professional and polite, but fun too. Was nice to come back to the hotel on Saturday eve and listen to the piano being played. The breakfast was wonderful and set me up for the day. The choice was incredible. Due to the hotel being full to capacity there was a bit of a wait for breakfast, however you could see the manager taking control and making sure there was room. Was expecting to be rushed to finish to make way for others, but this didn`t happen. Thank you for a lovely weekend

Good comfortable hotel, breakfast very good with a good choice of food.. Very convenient only 8 minute walk from Paddington Station and buses stop just along road from hotel. We walked from the Hotel to Marble Arch through xxxxx xxxxx in 15 minutes. Would definitely stay there again.

As in my 60`s I found that stepping out of the bath was quite a big step, Also only heating is from Air Con and I couldn`t sleep with that on so room a bit chilly of a night. Everything else was nice clean and well maintained. I just has Bed and Breakfast and that was really nice.

Great hotel. Polite Staff. Even left a birthday card and chocolates in our room for my husband. Rooms are compact but quite sufficient for sleeping in after a long day sight seeing. Breakfast was varied and great. Would stay again.

"Good location. Buses and tube close by..also easy walking distance to Oxford Street."
We had a great stay here. Staff were very attentive from domestic staff (rooms cleaned and bedding and towels changed daily), dining room staff and very pleasant staff on reception. Room was small but as we were out all the day it wasn`t a problem. On two mornings out of five the shower was cool but still not a huge problem. Would certainly use this hotel again.

What a great hotel. It`s rare in London to find a hotel that treats you as a person rather than a number. Without exception all the staff have been lovely and the breakfast was amazing - full English and Malaysian and middle easyeb! Highly recommend

"Clean and compact"
Nice hotel, compact room, clean with comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast good too. Good location just shame the tube station was closed and had to walk to next tube station for show. No hardship though!
