The Show
Amateur Dramatic Company Cornley Polytechnic is putting on a 1920s murder mystery thriller entitled 'Murder at Haversham Manor'. The accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! As the name of the play would suggest, everything that can go wrong does go wrong, which, of course, the more things go wrong, the funnier the performance becomes. Hilarious comedy, stage disasters and a falling apart set will ensure that you laugh your way through the very clever whodunit play within a play.

Please note: The Theatre will not admit children under 8 years. Additionally, flashing lights and strobe lights are used in performances.

History of The Play that goes Wrong

"The fun starts before the show begins when cast members interact with the audience on a quest to find an alleged lost dog which is integral to the plot. After the curtain raises, mishaps fall thick and fast with hilarious consequences especially as the players stick to the script regardless of the situation.
