The Ocean apartments have 68 two bedroomed apartments with 2 bathrooms (one with shower),a lounge that features digital television, DVD player, dining area, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Guests can also benefit from secure onsite parking which is free of charge (requires a £20 Deposit). There is no onsite restaurant, although the apartments do feature a fully equipped kitchen which features dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave and toaster. Those guests looking to eat out can choose to do so at one of the many restaurants in the Ocean Terminal which is a 10 minute walk from the apartments. Please Note: A debit or credit card pre-authorisation for £100 is required at reception upon check-in.

Located on Edinburgh`s picturesque, fashionable waterfront, the Ocean Apartments offer guests all the space and comfort of home with the style of a top class hotel. Guests looking to explore Edinburgh, which is arguably the jewel in Scotland`s crown, can easily reach the city centre in 15 minutes by bus which stops conveniently opposite the Ocean Apartments. From here the famous thoroughfare Princes Street, historic Royal Mile and stunning Edinburgh Castle can be explored along with a vast variety of shopping, entertainment and dining venues. All apartments are 2 bedroomed and can accommodate a max of 4 people. Family apartments can accommodate up to 5 people. Please note: SINGLE SEX GROUPS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
Getting there:
From Edinburgh Waverly Station: Walk North and take the stairs, continue onto Waverley Steps and take the stairs again. Turn right onto South St Andrew Street and continue straight onto St Andrew Square and then continue onto North St Andrew Street, continue onto Dublin Street. From here take the number 10 bus towards Western Harbour. Alight at Terminus and then walk east towards Western Harbour Drive, turn right onto Western Harbour Drive. Finally turn left onto Western Harbour Midway and the apartments will be on the right.

Check-in: 3pm Check-out: 10am Please note Reception Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm If arriving out of these times guests will need to organise a late check in time prior to arrival.
Car Parking:
Underground parking is available to all guests. The parking is free of charge but does require a £20 deposit. There is also free on street parking available for all guests.

Apartment smart well equipped and secure. Very quiet location , staff helpful stayed here before several years ago will definitely stay again

A very comfortable spacious apartment which overall we had a lovely stay in edinburgh. However it certainly was not what I would call luxury as the kitchen was understocked, loads of utensils, 2 scrapy little pans, minimal numbers of glasses, plates There were stains down the wall behind the bin. The chairs around the table were scratched and wobbly. One of the sofas was torn at the back, 2 of the cushions on the sofa were frayed and coming apart. We could not get the dvd player to work. The hot water was not on demand. The paint work around the flat was a little worn. The reception office was a little tatty.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The children already want to return to Edinburgh and definitely want to return to Ocean Apartments. Very comfortable.

Apartment comfortable and adequately furnished. Avoid 4th floor apartments as they have a flat roof above, which very noisy especially if it is windy! Excellent bus service into centre of Edinburgh.

The accommodation was absolutely brilliant, couldn`t have asked for anything better and brilliant bus service for getting in and out of the city. My only one complaint is that one of the empty appartments had left there windows/doors open which meant there was a constant bang all night as the wind caught it - unfortunately it stopped me getting a good nights sleep!

"Quality Hotel standards without the fuss."
Our first serviced appartment experience and one we would repeat. The Western Dock development area is away from Leith itself but a convenient 25 minute bus ride away from Edinburgh centre (the current tram works are doing the traffic no favours). The rooms are designed and built to a good standard and are comprehensively equipped . Site staff are friendly and helpful. Free underground parking is a bonus. A 24hr Asda is nearby.
