As is the style of the Indigo brand the 4* Hotel Indigo Exeter is designed to reflect aspects of the history of the building and surrounding area. The hotel`s 104 rooms and public areas are inspired by the department stores that have stood on this site since 1782 as well as the architecture of Exeter Cathedral which some of the rooms overlook. As well as colourful décor, rooms have comfy Hypnos beds, Nespresso machines, mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi, 40 inch flat-screen TV and spa inspired bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Within the hotel is The Retreat Spa with steam room sauna and Hydropool hot tubs (charged at £25 per day for hotel guests). Spa treatments are also available at an additional cost, it is recommended to pre-book and pay directly with the hotel in advance of check-in. Complimentary use of the hotel`s Fitness Suite, which is open from 10am to 6pm, is available to guests during their stay. Colson`s Bar & Grill offers an all-day menu for casual dining as well as a Taster Menu with dishes inspired by Devon ingredients. Guests also have a choice of bars within the hotel, the Dugout Bar, with HD TV screens offering top sporting events and a range of local beers and ciders with an accompanying burger menu. Alternatively choose from a carefully selected menu of cocktails served in Beckett`s sky bar with views across the city.

Opened in 2023 the 4* Hotel Indigo Exeter is located in the heart of Exeter, 5 minutes walk from Exeter Central Station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Just a 2-minute walk away is Exeter cathedral, built in 1133 and set in beautiful grounds. More of the city`s history can be discovered at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Visitors can also walk along Exeter`s Quayside, which has small independent shops, cafes and bars and is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Exeter Central Station exit onto Queen Street and walk along towards Victoria Yard. After 0.2 miles turn left and the hotel will be the right.
BY ROAD: From M4 exit at junction 30 for A379/A376 to Dawlish/Exeter/Sidmouth/Exmouth/Services. At Sandygate Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A379, after 1 mile keep left at the fork and follow signs for City Centre/Dawlish/A379/March Barton/Topsham and merge onto Rydon Ln/A379. After 0.7 miles at Countess Wear Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Topsham Rd/A3015 and continue for 2.1 miles. Use the middle lane to turn slightly right to stay on A3015 and continue straight onto Magdalen St/B3212. Turn left onto Southernhay E. After 0.2 miles turn left onto Cathedral Close and the hotel.
