All of the 157 rooms at the 4* Big Blue Hotel have bright contemporary design, are fully air-conditioned and have modern ensuite bathrooms with power shower and complimentary toiletries. In-room amenities include 32inch flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Family Rooms, with separate children`s area have 5-foot bunk beds with built in PS3 consoles and TV screens. The Blues Brasserie is open for full English Breakfast from 7am to 10am (10.30am at weekends) and also serves a sandwich and light bites menu during the day. Booking is recommended in the evening when a wide and varied a la carte menu is available from 5pm. More casual dining is available in The Blues Bar which also has a popular cocktail menu.

Hotel and location:

The 4* Big Blue Hotel is located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach which has an entrance adjacent to the hotel exclusively for hotel guests. This entrance is open for the first 90 minutes of Pleasure Beach opening dates with tickets issued at the hotel Reception. The Pleasure Beach Railway Station is conveniently just 0.1 miles, a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Also a short walk away is the world-famous Promenade, stretching 7 miles along the sea front with restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The iconic Blackpool Tower is 2 miles along the promenade from the hotel, approximately 15 minutes using the Blackpool Tramway or 30 minutes on foot.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Blackpool Pleasure Beach Station and turn right onto Carlyle Avenue and then turn left to stay on Carlyle Ave. Continue onto Burlington Rd W, almost immediately turn right and then left and the hotel will on the right.
BY CAR: Heading south on M6, at junction 29, take the M65 exit to Burnley/Blackburn. At the roundabout, take the 4tth exit onto the M6 slip road to M55/Lancaster/B?Pool. After 0.4 miles merge onto M6 and continue for the next 7 miles. At junction 32 use the left 2 lanes to take the M55/Black Pool exit to A6/Preston/Garstang and keep right to continue on M55. After a further 12 miles continue onto A5230 and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Yeadon Way. After 2.1 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Parkinson Way and then at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Parkinson Way. Turn left onto Waterloo Rd/A5073 and after 0.2 miles at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Lytham Rd/B5262. After a further 0.2 miles turn right onto Station Rd and continue for 0.3 miles before turning onto Promenade/A584. After 0.5 miles turn left onto Clifton Drive, make a left turn and the hotel will be on the left.
