Room and hotel facilities:

All of the rooms at the 3* Palace Hotel are comfortably furnished with tasteful décor and ensuite bathrooms. Many rooms have sea views, whilst others face the hotel gardens. In-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryer. During their stay guests can make use of the Genesis Health Suite for £5 per room per day. As well as an indoor heated swimming pool there is also a sauna and spa pool as well as a fully equipped gym. Spa treatments are also available, these should be arranged directly with the hotel. Full English breakfast is served every morning in The Paris Restaurant, which also serves dinner every evening from 6pm. Light lunches are served in The Sun Lounge, where guests can also enjoy Afternoon Tea while taking in the fabulous sea views.

Located on Paignton`s Esplanade and opposite the seafront, the 3* Palace Hotel is a great place to enjoy a relaxing break on the English Riviera. The town centre and railway station are within easy walking distance, only half a mile away. Paignton is known its long stretch of beautiful beach and its promenade. A 5-minute stroll from the hotel is Paignton Pier, which is free to access and offers entertainment for all the family in all weathers.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Paignton Station exit onto Victoria Street and then turn right onto Torbay Road. Turn left onto Parkside Road and follow this route for 0.2 miles. Turn right towards Steartfield Road and then continue onto Steartfield Road and the hotel will be on the right. BY CAR: From the M5 continue onto Devon Expressway/A38 following signs for Plymouth/Torquay/A380. After 2.3 miles use the left 2 lanes to turn onto A380 following signs for Torquay. After a further 10 miles, keep right to continue on Besigheim Way/Penn Inn flyover/A380/A381. After 5.7 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Marldon Way/A380. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Marldon Road/B3060. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Colley End Rd/B3060. Follow this route and then turn left onto Torquay Rd/A3022 and then turn right onto Lower Polsham Road. Turn right towards Steartfield Road and then left onto Steartfield Road and the hotel will be on the right.
