This 4* hotel is a great location for sight-seeing situated on the South-side of the River Thames near Lambeth Bridge overlooking the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and The London Eye and directly across the river from the Tate Britain Gallery. Within a 15 minute walk you will find the Oval Cricket Ground, the London Aquarium, Westminster Abbey, the Imperial War Museum and Waterloo Station. Vauxhall underground station is a 5-7 minute walk meaning other attractions such as Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, The Natural History Museum, The Tower of London and The Shard as well as the fantastic shopping areas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Harrods can be reached within an easy 20 minute tube journey.
Getting there:
NEAREST TUBE: Vauxhall station (Victoria Line). Exit the station via exit 1 or 2 turning right on to South Lambeth Place. Walk north along South Lambeth Place, turning left on to the A202 when you reach the end of the road. Take an immediate right on to Albert Embankment and continue walking north along this road for approximately 7 minutes. When the road branches off, take the right hand branch which will take you straight to the hotel entrance.
Driving Directions: From Heathrow Airport (29km/ 18.4 miles / approx 35 minutes by car): Take M4 to West London. Follow the Cromwell Road to Knightsbridge and then on to Hyde Park Corner, then follow the road towards Buckingham Palace. From there take the mall to Westminster Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right onto Lambeth Palace Road. Cross junction onto Albert Embankment, the hotel is on your left, opposite Tate Britain. Taxi fare: approximately £25 one way. From London City Airport (15km/ 9.7 miles / approx 18 minutes by car): Pass the docks and following the River Thames, drive West towards Westminster. At the Tower of London turn left onto Embankment and continue straight until you see Big Ben. Turn left onto Westminster Bridge and bear right onto Lambeth Palace Road cross junction onto Albert Embankment, the hotel is on you left, opposite Tate Britain. Taxi fare: approximately £50 one way. From Gatwick Airport (44km/ 28 miles / approx 55 minutes by car): Take M23 to A23 - Central London. Follow the signs to Westminster.
Drive down Lambeth Palace Road and at inter-section drive across onto Albert Embankment. The hotel is on you left, opposite Tate Britain. Taxi fare: approximately £80 one way.

there for 1 night booked executive room for 3 adults.1st room 15th floor small queen size double no third bed, was told lt would arrive I pointed out no room for 3rd bed was told all executive rooms same size. Went out 3rd bed didnt arrive asked member of staff to accompany me to room couldn`t work out where bedwould go without causing a hazard. Moved to 11th floor not much bigger and no 3rd bed complained spending too much time organising sleeping arrangements was moved to 14th floor ,good size room king size bed and bed setee room had not been cleaned mattress cover and sheet hairy ,content of mini bar depleted only cups/mugs for 2 suspect lose tobacco in draw . Disturbed night sleep very noisy. Corridors and lifts in semi darkness didn`t disguise dirty carpets. Shower area gruby,Breakfast ok very unorganised no plates,bar very expensive, couldn`t recommend this hotel missed the mark on so many occasions only stayed one night but had to move twice think that says it sll

When we got here they had made an error with our room but it was resolved straight away and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The staff were very friendly and efficient too. The room was spotless and well equipped. I would stay here again.
