A family room for four was not supplied with facilities to cater for 4. Two large towels were only provided there were not enough cups to make drinks for everyone, not enough drinks for kids, just 2 bottles of water and one biscuit! The beds were small, there was little space - enough to hang coats only and no space to unpack. Advertised as having pool and jacuzzi sauna and steam rooms. These were all minuscule and had to be paid for. The steam room was out of order! I would not go back.

"Crowne Plaza, Kings Cross."
Excellent hotel, staff very helpful. We ate in the restaurant and food and service was excellent. Took our car and was disappointed at size of car park but parked in NCP round the corner. Rooms were good size, lovely hot water in shower. Good tea/coffee in room. Would stay here again. Was worried before we arrived as had read some negative feed back. On leaving people were complaining they had waited 10 minutes for a lift but not a problem we just walked down the stairs from 5th floor.

Lovely hotel, very clean, nice rooms and excellent staff. 10 ministers walk to Kingcross station or just £7 in a cab, great value. Will be visiting again.

Great location. Super hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We asked for 3 twin rooms and they were massive. Each room had 2 double beds in! Concierge and other reception staff were extremely helpful too. All in all a great weekend!

"Beautifully refurbished but poor location "
This hotel has had a complete makeover and looks and feels brand new with contemporary stying and neutral colours. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The bar has a nice atmosphere and is a great place to relax. The stall are extremely welcoming and friendly. However this hotel is not near Kings across station as the name suggests. It is more than half an hour walk away and taxis are required to get anywhere. The area is not very nice either apart from its quiet.

I have traveled to London on business and the hotel`s location (10 min taxi ride) to the City is fantastic. The room was large, I suggest sole business travelers doing what I did and booking a room with 2 double beds. This way (for the same price) you get a huge room for yourself (by London`s standards). The room was great. The gym was great (although I did not go to swim, but that looked great). The restaurnts on the ground floor are fantastic. So, in all, I had the best stay in central London so far, and I do travel to London for work from time to time. Cannot fault them!

"Extremely disappointing and far from a 4 star hotel"
The room we had (we were told they were all identical) was not suitable for a family of 4. It was like trying to manoeuvre your way around an obstacle course to get from one side to the other. There was no hanging space for longer items and only space for 5 items as it was in a tiny closet. There were no drawers to put any clothes. There was no space for a suitcase, and with 2 double beds squeezed into the room already absolutely no where to even leave it on the floor. The TV didn`t work; the air conditioning didn`t work. Maintenance were sent up but couldn`t resolve either. We took the children to the pool (which was lovely) but then got charged! I could go on. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

"Crown Plaza Kings Cross"
I enjoyed my anniversary break at this hotel .I was VERY disappointed that the swimming pool was closed as this is one of the reasons we booked this hotel. I did feel also that the breakfast price was a little high in price.

Spent a fortune in taxis so probably would spend extra next time to be more central. Hotel was fine though. Nothing to complain about. Fit for purpose. No coffee or tea making facilities in room. ``Twas Grand I suppose

Room was well maintained, bed was comfortable which aided a good nights sleep, staff very approachable, friendly & professional, food & drink options at breakfast were varied & well presented. Really liked the fact I could leave my suitcase in a secure locked room on the day off check out as our train wasn`t booked till late evening. Would definatley stay at Plaza, Kings Cross again.
