"Fantastic Hotel"

Lovely hotel, very friendly, fabulous location for Trains into Victoria or Coaches, great for Buckingham Palace Hyde Park , will definitely stay there again. hopefully soon.

"Almost good but room too small"

Well located hotel right by Victoria station...clean comfortable and quite stylish in a conventional, not boutique style..great breakfast..but our room and bathroom were far too small for our comfort, right up in the roof served by just one lift..we felt we paid £20-30 too much.

"Great value stay"

Just a one night stay for business, but I was amazed to find the Grosvenor Hotel at Victoria Station within my price allowance and it was very close to where I was working. A very comfortable (if a little small) room, good breakfast, helpful staff and a wonderful building with a real feeling of Victorian opulence.

My husband and I were leaving London for a holiday early on Monday morning so we decided to stay close to the pick up point the previous evening. We were delighted with the beautiful room which was allocated to us. What a wonderful start to our holiday.

"Clean Room - Bathroom required attention - Brasserie disappointing "

The hotel staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our accommodation was clean and tidy apart from the bathroom. The shower curtain was smelly and the shower controls and taps were badly in need of descaling and a good clean and polish. Lunch in the Brassserie was a little disappointing as not all the menu was available and the Coq au Vin proved to be a rather dry grilled chicken breast with sauce, rather than chicken cooked in wine. We should also add that the dining area was poorly lit and the atmosphere a little jaded. However, the hotel was ideal for visiting Buckingham Palace and being situated by the Victoria tube line made access to other sites of interest very easy.

"Upgrade Pleasure (after a poor start)"

As the Hotel stated they had no record of our request for a room in the main hotel (less noisy) which we had noted on our copy of your information, we had been allocated a room in the wing & it would not become available until 3pm!! This cut into our lunch date with family & we were displeased all round with arrangements. To the credit of the Receptionist she went to seek advise & came back with an upgrade to an Executive Room in the main building & we could check in immediately. This was a lovely room & we appreciate the way the Hotel handled the situation. Thus, we would recommend it to others & enjoyed our stay.

"Nice clean room, excellent location for all area;s of London."

Room was nice and clean, perfect location for all area,s of London, view was poor and room a little on the small side. Service in the dinning room was excellent on the first day, and poor on the second, Overall i would book this hotel again.

"a wonderful place to stay for many reasons"

we booked here as a hidden gem and we were not disappointed, it is diamond quality ! The staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived. The room was just right for an overnight stay, the surroundings luxurious, location perfect, breakfast delicious, and we could leave our cases on departure day for collection later. I give it 110% and look forward to my next stay.

"Lovely Victorian Hotel"

Great hotel, lovely clean and quiet rooms and excellent location in Victoria. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. My package included breakfast which was of excellent quality and served in nice surroundings. All hotel staff were very friendly and ensured my stay was enjoyable. Recommended.

"Avoid the Wing "

Superb hotel and Staff however our room was in the Wing overlooking the Victoria Station concourse.Not the best location for a quite nights sleep even though we were on the 7th Floor.All in all we would stay again but request a different room location

"Not bad, breakfast ok."

Room ok and clean, every thing worked! Bed fine air con kept it cool, only down side no coffee after about 11.00pm in the bar??? So had onein our room but then no milk for the morning!!!

"first class at a great deal"

It pays to read every review, you just might get a clue as to which hotel you get! i did this and my clue told me what this was. right beside victoria train station, perfect for gatwick express, easywalking distance to hyde park and harrods area @15-20mins. staff perfect and even delivered a bottle of wine for our 28th wedding anniversary. would stay again and highly recommend. would use hd again. ps - stunning chandelier in the grand hallway absolutely beautiful

"Lovely hotel but noisiest room!"

We stayed at grovesnor Hotel in Victoia (from July 24 til 28) which we booked through secret hotel deal and although it was a lovely hotel our room was so so hot, almost to the point of melting as we couldn"t open the window due to a huge great noisy (constant humming) of what we suspected was the air conditioning unit right slap bang outside the window. it totally blocked any view out of the window and any natural light and there"s no way you could fall asleep with that noise going all night!! The only other problem was again no natural light in the main breakfast room and as it was very warm when we stayed it made the room so very HOT! We were told by restaurant manager that she had asked for fans to cool the area but three mornings on still no sign of them! Bedroom was also on the smallish side but not a major problem. That said hotel was very clean and all staff very polite and helpful and def would stay there again but would insist on a different room!

"Great location, great service, great hotel"

Great location next to Victoria Station. Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the rooms are lovely, clean and well laid out. Staff offered excellent service, can`t wait to return to this hotel.

"Excellent service and a quiet room."

Managed to get into a room which had a broken aircon (it was 32 degrees outside) but was immediately moved to one which had a working unit. Friendly and obliging staff and a late check out as standard.

"Lovely nights stay for a theatre trip"

Hotel is very grand and luxuorious. No complaints at all (even late check out till 2pm was no problem). Staff made you feel very special. Loved it!! Recommend cocktail bar for a late one (by the time you have had 2 the cost doesn`t seem to matter!).
