Very large hotel, some rooms have been refurbished and are lovely, other haven`t and are not. We were allocated an unrefurbished room which was disapointing for the money we paid but the reception desk were very helpful and allocated us a new room. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful with several lovely areas to sit and enjoy the views. All in all an enjoyable stay but ask for a refurbished room when booking.

We walked a long way to our room from reception. The room was good. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good but we were absolutely frozen so it was an unpleasant experience.

Beautiful grounds, the Old School building is lovely. Our room was fresh & clean & staff were helpful. Were disappointed the resturant wasn`t open & despite checking online beforehand, this was not advertised to our knowledge.

"size of beds "
although the hotel was an excelant hotel ,the size of the bed in the room we had was not even a double bed size its a very good job that neither my husband or myself are above average weight or height or we would have had some problems,as it was athough it was very comforable we did find it a bit too close for the both of us as we a use to a king size bed a home ,apart from that the room and all other areas of this hotel were excelent ......

Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and lovely big fluffy towels. Friends rooms showers did not work, and showers in swimming pool also lacked hot water. Lacks attention to detail. Restaurant facilities expensive. Would however stay again, due to close proximity to Windsor.

The acres of land the hotel is situated in was absolutely amazing and ideal as we were celebrating our honeymoon! However when we arrived we were told we were receiving an upgraded room, I`m yet to see your other rooms but in my opinion I felt like I hadn`t been upgraded at all. I couldn`t fault the service or the plot of land it was on but for me the room could have been a lot better. I didn`t leave disappointed but didn`t leave feeling I wanted to return. I saw some of your pictures online of your suites and I don`t believe I had been upgraded. Thankyou for the lovely situation was a real pleasure

"Major Issues"
Bathroom very small, lack of water pressure on many ocassions, floor lethal when wet or damp, toilet takes ages and ages to flush properly, no sound insulation - whatever noise you make in their is echoed throughout the room! Lack of storage space, TV not very up to date (no freeview, no HDMI connection for laptops of DVD player), tea and coffee stuff kept in wardrobe restricting usable space, very old kettle which made outrageous amount of noise. Tempus bar very expensive £4.50 for a Worthingtons (flat too), a Gin and Tonic so costly I thought I have bought the full bottle!!. Breakfast excellent! Finally, the keys we were given never seemed to work properly, once we were locked out for fully 30 mins, brought this to hotels attention, but nothing done.

The hotel is set in lovely surroundings which always makes a good first impression. The staff couldn`t do enough for me during my stay. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

really nice hotel, good facilities, excellent location. Only criticism would be the price of drinks in hotel bar, particularly the wine, which at £7.25 a glass was extortionate for a pinot grigio. Would definately stay again. Local Harvester pub/restaurant good value for money and within walking distance.

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The place was immaculate."
The stay was peaceful and so relaxing. The pool was so enjoyable first thing in the morning. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and when asked the staff were polite and prompt in actioning requests.

"Fabulous family hotel"
Excellent stay. 2nd visist to hotel and just as good even though swimming pool happened to be out of action for the 2 days we were there. staff were very helpful and polite, rooms clean and well equipped and food was excellent. Will probably find a reason to visit next year too!

The bed was shabby and in poor condition and the mattress springs made a creaking sound suggesting the bed ought to be renewed. The layout of the hotel meant a lot of walking. The bars and resturaunts were pricey. The food was fairly good

I loved that the little things were thought of: nice linen, good towels and scented sprays. My stay was lovely. A few things to improve please: The shower door in the bathroom makes access to the taps from outside the bath very difficult and quite dangerous. Something should be done about this. The door hinges on the surrounding rooms should be oiled as there is constant loud creaking noises in the morning each time your cleaning staff enter or exit a room. This was very disturbing. The television options are a bit limited. Pay TV channels would be good. Thanks
