Pretty average, very basic room, pillows were a bit uncomfortable, room service for food wasn`t to good. I think for the price that breakfast should of been included.

Nice staff ,very helpful and happy. lovely room with all the modern accessories as well as ample storage for long stay . cleverly laid out room ,very functional and comfortable.. considering the position of this superb hotel the fees are very reasonable . My wife and i would stay there again

"Lovely room, when I found it"
The Grand Hotel is in a terrific location right in the heart of theatreland. The accommodation was immaculately clean and furnished to a contemporary style. The view from the window made me smile as it overlooked a 6` x 6` enclosed area and looked directly into the room opposite so make sure you draw your curtains for the sake of modesty. I`m sure some people would find this unacceptable but it didn`t bother me. One strange little quirk was the fact that the signage to our room (226) directed us to go left when we came out of the lift when In fact it was to the right. A good value enjoyable stay and would definitely re-book.

Fabulous location - could not be more central for the West End. Spacious, well fitted and absolutely spotless room. Would definitely book here again.

Lovely hotel,clean room,comfortable bed.Fantastic location right next to Charing Cross and Trafalger Square. Slept really well,even though it was a really hot weekend and the location was busy with traffic.Would use this hotel again without doubt.

comfortable quiet room with good facilities. like all mian london hotels breakfasts are overpriced much easier and cheaper to go out for breakfast. the hotel reception is particularly impressive. would stay here again.

"Perfect Location, Lovely Hotel, Helpful Staff"
This hotel is in a great location - just off Trafalgar Square, the room was small (but that was what we expected), however it was very modern and clean - the shower was wonderful. I had read other reviews that the staff were miserable and unhelpful. I admit they didn`t smile a lot, but they were always helpful - I just don`t think there are enough of them. I will be going back for sure

We stayed over night for our 10th anniversary and it was a wow front he minute walk through the door. Very polite and efficient reception. The room was clean, modern, tastefully decorated and very nice- not a typical hotel room at all. The location is excellent- right off Trafalgar Sq and 2 minute walk to Charing Cross tube. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Central London.

Fantastic location. Very nice hotel and when the Brasserie reopens (the day after we left), it would be possible to get breakfast.. Only about 6 tables available when we were there and had to go elsewhere with elderly relatives in tow. Overall though, I would go again.

Was disappointed when we arrived to see that the bar and restaurant were closed for renovtions. Would have appreciated a letter or email in advance warning us of this. APart from that the room was lovely

Great location with smart, good sized rooms. Reception understaffed but helpful. Possibly due to current renovations. Didnt sample the breakfast on this occasion. Will certainly use this hotel again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The bed was huge & very comfortable. The room was clean & quite big really. Enjoyed the water machines. An excellent touch. My husband said the only downside was that there didn`t seem to be any papers to read but it was only a small thing. Overall fab visit & we would definitely go back.

Room was lovely and clean. Check-in service was slow and initially couldn`t find our booking via Hotel Direct. Very slow service making two bloody mary`s at the bar and then they were virtually undrinkable - they then charged for three instead of two drinks. Upon leaving, my bar bill was £45 instead of £18 and they had added on room service by mistake - this took approximately 15 minutes for them to sort out

Hotel was literraly seconds from trafalgar square and within good walking distance of other landmarks of interest such as the South Bank, Convent Garden, Pall Mall, Oxford Street and Regent Street. Rooms were clean and well presented. Staff polite and courteous. I would use this hotel again.

The check in was very clear and the people very informative. All members of staff said hello. could not fault the rooms they were spacious, clean and lovely decor. There were 4 in my party and we all have said that we would not only recommend this hotel but would love to stay again.

"WE LOVED THIS HOTEL FOR COMFORT AND LOCATION"
GOOD BEDS AND COMFY PILLOWS. CLEAN AND EFFICIENT AND IN A BRILL LOCATION. WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN. PRICEY ENOUGH BUT SO WERE ALL THE OTHERS WE TRIED TO BOOK. LOVED WALKING TO WEST END , COVENT GARDEN AND THE RIVER AREA WAS A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE. WE LOVED THE SOUTH BANK AREA JUST A WALK OVER THE BRIDGE CLOSE BY, THERE WAS SO MUCH GOING ON.

Other reviewers are moan bags. This hotel was superb. View was amazing from our room on floor 7. Beds very comfortable and housekeeping were just wonderful, they even came to check that we were happy with it. The guest supplied closet was a nice touch with irons, ironing boards, extra blankets and pillows along with extra drinks stuff. I can`t understand what other people were saying that they were unhappy, in all we were blown away with this. The location is just AMAZING! thank you for a lovely weekend.

Our stay was as a base for celebrating my wife`s 75th Birthday, and was as special as the birthday itself. The only adverse comment is that the dinner menu was somewhat restricted.

"The Grand Hotel is very Grand and lovely"
Last time we stayed at Club Q, this time we stayed at The grand and I have to say I am so pleased that I chose this. The room, service and surroundings were excellent! can`t wait to go back later this year.

Read some very mixed reviews on this hotel prior to visit, but found it a gem. Friendly staff, quick check in, very central, ice and water on tap outside our room - slightly noisy outside, but what`s expected on a main road? Would definately stay again.
