"Helpful staff and great breakfast !! Clean and comfortable rooms"

only problem was I booked through website of Hotel Direct and was told 2pm check in, so when we arrived our rooms were not ready as was told it was 3pm check in ???? bit annoying but staff accommodating and helpful, needs to be clearer !

"Minor issues that prevented an `excellent` rating."

Pluses: Location is fabulous; Very good accommodation and facilities; Free wi-fi access; Courteous and helpful staff at all levels. Negatives: Expensive parking despite NCP discount; Billed for newspapers despite advertised as complimentary; Very good breakfast but 1 `steam driven` toaster is totally inadequate for guest numbers - very surprised as everything else in the dining room is very well thought out. Overall - verging on `excellent` with minor criticisms, and will stay again..

"Welcoming,efficent and relaxing stay in wonderful central location."

Friendly efficent staff.Great location ideal for all the main sights of Bristol,particularly the Hippodrome.Clean and comfortable.Valet parking good although a bit pricey.Excellant breakfast,all the food was of a very high standard and cooked really well.Would definately stay again.

"Most impressed with the staff - polite, efficient, helpful, nothing was too much trouble."

We were very happy with our business class room. A broken sink plug, missing shower control button and disfunctional scales were fixed immediately upon notification. Room service we thought was excellent also and very sensibly priced. The only issue really was the lift. It was very quick if no one else called for it but we were on the 16th floor and with only one lift operating it sometimes took a while to get up and down. However, the lasting impression was of a very pleasant couple of days due in the main to the high quality of care provided by your top class staff.

"absolutely wonderful night "

I booked this hotel based on the reviews i had read. I am so glad i did because the hotel gorgeous, our room was clean and very comfortable and the bed so comfy neither of us wanted to leave it and the bathroom was also lovely. hotel is perfectly situated for some lovely restaurants and bars and so all in all i can`t wait to go back! Brilliant and lovely staff topped off a lovely break away :-)

"Great location"

Couldn`t have picked better for location. We were in Bristol for a concert and the venue was 5 minutes away. Also a stones throw from the harbour with all its riverside cafes and restaurants. Good quality breakfast with lots of choice. Bedrooms very comfortable and spacious - contemporary decor, what`s not to like. Would not hesitate to return.

"Good location, smart hotel, good breakfast, no parking!"

Stayed for one night to go to Colston Hall for a concert. As far as the location goes it was ideal as it was only 200m from the venue. Its also across the road from the theatre and harbour area and a 5 minute walk to the main shopping centre. The hotel only has 8 spaces in its carpark so you have to park in the street on a meter or NCP carpark 200m away which cost £17 for 24 hours.

Radisson Blu v good place to stay in Bristol - make sure you take a map - easy to find when you know how! V Nice quiet rooms even though full, staff and breakfast excellent - exceeded expectations

Hotel is in excellent position and provides a comfortable base. Breakfast caters for all tastes and is plentiful. Rooms clean and well-equipped.

"Good hotel but not outstanding"

Negative comments: 1. Service in restaurant very poor. 2. Service in bar poor. 3. lighting in bedrooms poor.4. Bedroom very cramped and poorly designed(105).5.Poor signage eg stairwell on 1st floor led nowhere 6. building works not completed.7. no soap in dispenser in gentst on toilet on grround floor. Reception staff excellent -breakfast very good.

"Wonderful place to stay"

A lovely new hotel near the centre of Bristol. Fantastic room with a great view and good value with a brilliant breakfast. Will stay again.

"Good for business"

great room, nice view, great location - would recommend for business travellers - nespresso machine probably needs a clear instruction that if you choose a larger serving you should use a larger cup than those provided - breakfast plates a little too hot - most guests had to use napkins to hold - might pay to turn down the platewarmer a little!

"Radisson Blu Bristol"

Room was quite small very dismal lighting. Coffee machine did not work. Bathroom was lovely but shower screen did not fit so flooded the floor
