"Very central to attractions, tourist information and buses."

The hotel was extremely good value. Rooms were clean and bright. Breakfast was a bonus, extremely good, staff helpful and happy. In all we had a good stay at the Drury Court. Air coach from Dublin and return is only a 5 minute walk away. We stayed from Sunday to Wednesday so was quieter, there is a nightclub opposite which I could imagine be a bit noisy but sadly I am too old to now to join in!

"Extremely clean hotel. "

Staff were courteous at all times. Brilliant breakfast, nothing was too much trouble with regards to requests to the waitresses. Hotel room was very clean. Just one negitive, lighting for applying make up was not very good.

"Dreadful"

Really disappointed with this - very misleading as the bar/restaurant downstairs is actually a nightclub until 2.30 Fri/Sat. Very, very noisy even though we were on 4th floor. Staff ignored complaints. Decor very tired and shabby - ripped counterpane on bed etc. Clean but smelled very strongly of disinfectant. Definately would not stay there again and would not have booked if I had realised it was a nightclub downstairs as had rejected other hotels on this basis.

"WAS kept awake until 3am by music from bar below. "

I COMPLAINED that night at midnight about the noise and repeated my complaint the next morning but was just fobbed off. The price for the room was too dear in any case -- without the anguish of a semi sleepless night. Never again as I will tell my friends.

"Nice hotel excellent location"

Hi this hotel was ideal for our hen night in dublin. The location is perfect and everywhere we wanted to go to (night life, restaurants shopping etc) was within walking distance. THe hotel is linked to a bar with a nice eating area and although the bar is livley you can not hear any noise when you are in your room. There is a bus (16a) which is a direct link with the airport which was ideal. The only negative thing i can say is our room smelled of smoke but we told the cleaner and was imediatly given some air freshner. Our friends were in 2 other rooms which did not smell of smoke at all. I would definatly reccomend this hotel it was really clean, beds really comfortable and the perfect location.

"Met our needs and an enjoyable stay."

Good position to explore Dublin from as it is close proximity to all the main attractions. Room was clean and functional, although struggled to turn shower off due to faulty tap. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to bars and clubs for evening entertainment. Could hear noise from street up to 3:00am but nothing too bad.

Room 506 needs a blind over the window. Curtains were a waist of time.

"Basic, but good."

Car parking costs astronomical. Even with the hotels special night time rate it cost me over 60 euro to park my car for 3 days.

"Central location, room comfortable, staff friendly "

I picked the location for good access to National Library and Archives for family history research and for shopping. The hotel was comfortable and the full Irish breakfast was very `clean` and tasty. Got three nights or the price of two which represented good value for money. The bar offered good lunch and evening food options at prices that were often better than other nearby restaurants th a complimentary drink with each main meal. The hotel also offered room service at no extra charge and after days spent trawling through indexes and microfiche it was very welcome. Only 2 euros 20 on the local bus 16A from the airport too.

"Incorrect Booking"

The hotel was fabulous apart from the awful start to our weekend away....... we had booked a double room....and got put into twin....as you can imagine, this was not we had requested /booked and paid for, on a romantic weekend away especially as it was my birthday!!! I am still waiting for the Hotel Manager to contact us......to explain how the booking that was clearly stating a double...could have been allocated so wrongly!! Having young children weekends away are precious and not something that is done with great ease, after arriving late into the evening...where we jsut wanted to realx and enjoy the start to our weekend, well you can imagine how we felt! I await you response to this asap please........tahnk you in anticeptation

"comfortable but rather noisy - staff helped out the second night by moving us to a different room"

the first night the noise from the club below was really bad, tho we were on the third floor... it went on till about 3am we asked the staff the next day and they moved us, we could still hear the club but it wasnt too bad and not enough to disturb our sleep even tho my partner is a light sleeper breakfast was good staff helpful comfortable room very good location near the centre. however would choose another hotel next time if we were going to be staying at the weekend

"Very comfortable friendly hotel, where staff were eager to please.A wider range of fresh fruit would "

Cleanliness and standards in the rooms were high. Some additional touches may have been some biscuits for the tea and coffee? We had asked for quiet rooms and I would advise that the bar/bistro lounge located beneath the hotel is quite noisy ,especially at the weekends. We would definitely use the Drury Court again -excellent location.

"Great Location- Top Class Rooms"

The Hotel was great. Not far from Temple bar. The rooms were clean, smart and well equiped. The staff were friendly and the Irish Breakfast was ample. Only downside was the nightclub next door which our room overlooked and is very popular staying open while very late although it was closed on Sunday night. Overall very enjoyable stay and would definately go back again.

"Too Noisy!"

The standard of accomodation offered at Drury Court was good however our room on the first floor was directly above the bar. This coupled with the noise from outside led to a very disrupted nights sleep (even with ear plugs).

"Good location"

We enjoyed our stay at the Drury Court. Having stayed over near O`Connell on the other side of the river on previously visits to Dublin, it was good to stay in a different part of the city and there were plenty of bars and restaurants around if the Temple Bar are isn`t your scene, however its only 5 minutes walk if that`s where your heading. The Drury Court is clean and the breakfast is a great hangover cure. My only complaint in the room we were in, and it is seriously minor, was the placement of the soap dish in the shower which you constantly bang your elbow off - bruises galore!

"GREAT HOTEL"

THE DRURY COURT HOTEL IS WELL LOCATED WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE FOR MANY ATTRACTIONS. ALTHOUGH AN OLDER BUILDING,BUT MANY ARE IN DUBLIN, WE FOUND THE HOTELS ROOMS VERY CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND WOULD CERTAINLY GO BACK AGAIN.

"Very helpfull and welcoming"

This is my second stay at the hotel, the only thing is that it does get noisy especially on the saturday night and the rod is busy.Trople glazing would keep more noise out. Great location and it cant be that bad, due to the fact that I have stayed there in 2007 and 2008. Would love to have a room higher up in the hotel and not the 1st floor. I am hoping to book there again for 2009 for the dublin marathon, but it looks as though at this stage there is nothing available since no rates showing for the sundasy of the same weekend. (That is dissappointing)
