"Generally very good. Rooms were quiet and cool with no generators or outside noise while we slept."

The quiet and cool bedrooms were very pleasant for our sojourn. The only negative comment I would make would be the attendant at the Bewley`s Coffee Bar in the mornings. I apologise to her for interrupting her mobile phone calls. The toast from the machine in the bar also left a lot to be desired..it was more like hot bread than toast. We did enjoy our stay and hope to return.

"Very comfortable hotel"

The hotel was in a great location for attending concert in Aviva stadium one stop away on the DART train. Staff at check in very helpful and on another occasion when neither of us remembered our room key!!! Beds very comfortable and room lovely and warm. The only reason a very petty one that I didn`t mark excellent was due the fact that the bathroom didn`t even have complimentary shampoo!! I rated good as our total bill for two rooms was almost 350 pounds!!!!and no toiletries provided!!! Bathroom clean but a bit dated. Overall a lovely hotel.

"An easy stay. No problems. Plenty of space and a clean room. "

I enjoyed my stay here. Bathroom was a little bare. No nice shampoos or real soap. No shower cap or paper tissues. Would have liked some fresh bottled water daily. Breakfasts were fine. Just a lack of fresh bread and really thick honey. Yogurt was super.

The stay at Bewleys was very good of high standard and the front desk satff were very pleasant and welcoming !!! I wouldnt hesitate to stay again in the future ..though this was my second time and the standard has not been compromised.Howvere I di miss breakfast .. my own fault must have been the comfort of the bed that made me miss, though I did hear from my friends who were staying also that they enjoyed it..!!! Many Thanks again commendable

"Cant fault it....apart from 2 early morning room interruptions???"

This hotel was brilliant couldnt fault it...apart from 2 women entering at 9am and 9.30am one of the times I was getting changed!!!! This was unacceptable and completly freaked me out!!!! I should have said something in reception but the lady was too nice. Apart from that great hotel!

"Had a comfortable stay and a great weekend in Dublin"

No complaints, had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our weekend in Dublin. Would highly recommend the Hotel and when back in Dublin will stay again.

"Good value, great location Dublin Hotel"

We spent 2 nights here, and were very impressed overall. We were able to check in at 1030 - amazing!!! Nice clean room, but not a great view. We only had breakfast in the hotel, and both the continental and the full Irish were very good. The location is excellent - just 10 minutes walk to Ballsbridge pubs and Roly`s fantastic bistro. The DART station is just 5 minutes walk and takes about 10 minutes to get into the City. All in all, a really good hotel.

Hotel clean & nice, restaurant pricey for pretty basic food and very little toiletries which was a pain but a good hotel at the price.

"Rooms were very clean, restaurant food very good, convenient to everything in Dublin,."

Would recommend your place to anyone. Only thing I did not enjoy was the eating place for getting quick cup of tea and pastries. Thought it quite pricey. Scones were five euro and no cup of tea included. Otherwise a good experience. Very accommodating in getting our rooms ready early as we were tired from early flight in Ireland from USA. Thanks again.

"Excellent location for the RDS or the Aviva"

We have stayed here twice recently last time we were at the Ireland V Italy Rugby match.The rooms are clean and comfortable the bar was lively and staff there were helpful and friendly so overall we had a pleasant stay The hotel was very busy which was particularily reflected in the breakfast service. There was quite a queue for the full Irish which was served buffet style and was all but thrown at the plate. The food was not very warm which was a pity as previously we thought the breakfast was good quality and good value at 12.45 EURO.

"Weekend in Dublin for Take That"

Fantastic stay in Bewleys Ballsbridge, staff friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, rooms very clean complete with everything you need. Will def book and stay again. Well done Bewleys!

"Value for money in great location."

Room was big and lounge and restaurant was great. Lovely breakfast, family friendly. Only drawback I found was the lack of toiletries in the bathroom, no shampoo or any luxuries and no shops on the doorstep to stock up. Overall though a lovely hotel for the price.

"Have stayed before and just a good the second time around."

Good hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms. Highly recommended. Only gripe is that I am vegetarian and there was only one choice on the menu and it was something I didn`t particularly like. Second night, menu exactly the same choice. Would expect a hotel of this quality to do better. Had I realised the menu would be the same I could have asked the chef for something different. It is only a small point, but it did detract from an otherwise good weekend.

"Bargain but not basic"

My first time staying iin Bewleys Ballsbridge and I was generally very pleased. The hotel is very impressive from the outside and not quite so much inside. Having said that the rooms were clean, warm and amlpy sized for us. The rooms were very good value for money. We were a bit disappointed to have to pay 13.95 for breakfast and then queue for it! We even had to make our tea and toast ourselves. By the time we sat to eat our food was cold and we had to ask for it to be heated! Next time we will book the rooma and go get breakfast elsewhere. Other than this we couldnt complain. I will definitely stay there again coz rooms are good and its location is ideal for city centre.

"The only thing Bewley`s has going for it is the great location."

Rooms are dated, tired and grubby. Avoid ground floor rooms which look onto a central delivery area which looks like fly tippers visit it regularly - it was also littered with gigarette butts. Delivery trucks will keep you awake in the early hours and if they don`t then the steel cages being wheeled past your window will. Breakfast was poor and the bar restaurant area looked as though it needed a long overdue cleaning. The reception area was fairly grotty and poorly lit and gave the impression of an hotel that had seen better days. This is a shame because the building itself is very impressive and the hotel is very central and located in a beautiful area of Dublin.
