"Extremely disappointed "

I have stayed in this Hotel many times before, to say I`m disappointed is an understatement. I booked 2 rooms one twin,one double. The double room was ok an my friend was happy but the twin room was appalling. Twin beds pushed together. So small a full size adult only just fit lying on there back (beds made for children sizes). The latch on the door was broken. The mirror was dirty. The noise level in the room was unbearable. We had no sleep at all. It felt like there was street party in our room and we weren`t invited. The bath and shower were great but the sink tap just dribbled and was difficult to use. As for other services in this hotel on this occasion we booked in for afternoon tea. When booking the staff member was rude and as if was too much trouble for her and kept tutting when information was being given to her. On check out wenweren`t even asked if we`d had good stay. Which makes me think they knew the room we were in was not great.

"Handy for theatre land "

Pleasant staff on desk and at breakfast time, rooms spacious and comfy. Bed a little firm for me and toiletries basic but fine for one night. Would stay again.

"Small Twin Beds"

`hen we were shown to our room we were surprised to find that the beds were 2`6". when we complained we were shown to a larger room with the same size beds, I complained firstly at reception and then to someone from management who told us no bigger beds existed in the hotel. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never been offered such tiny beds. We both had a hard time sleeping and ld never stay in this hotel again and would most certainly never recommend it

"fabulous location and friendly helpful staff"

All aspects of stay were great. Location central for our trip to theatre and lovely eating places. Rooms very comfortable. All staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Anything we asked for was attended to immediately and with a smile.

"Lovely hotel"

Cosy room with lovely comfortable beds and very clean. Free wifi and friendly staff. Great location for theatres and bars with Covent Garden less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

"Great location"

Completely enjoyed our stay at xxxxx xxxxx. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a standard room,perfectly adequate,clean,comfortable, also was very quiet so could sleep! Lovely hotel. Would stay there again.

"Lovely hotel let down by poor customer service."

A lovely hotel but disappointing service throughout. From having to leave a £50 card deposit that will take 3 days to be refunded only trumped by a disappointing breakfast. Many items took an age to be replenished and despite many requests to the staff the service got no better. A real shame as the room and the location were perfect

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, my only complaint would be that I kept having to ask for extra tea bags as they only put 2 in the room each day!

"FABULOUS HOTEL - xxxxx xxxxx"

Superb hotel and great facilities. We frequently travel and use 4* hotels/cruise ships. This hotel is amongst the best. Excellent service, food and room. Hotel Direct arranged everything very efficiently. We had a wonderful break, no hassle, totally seamless. Thanks Hotel Direct, we will use you again and tell all our friends

"Looks lovely from outside, but that`s where it ends. "

Sadly, the room did not live up to the promise of the lobby. Very small, basic, and dated; whilst clean, the bathroom suite was tired-looking and the base of the bath was stained. The bed was uncomfortable. We didn`t sleep well as the mattress was very hard, and also our feet hung off the end of the bed, despite neither of us being taller than 5` 8"! The room was also very noisy, with a periodic whirring noise lasting a few seconds going off every few minutes throughout the night. The staff were polite and very helpful. The lobby was beautiful. The bedroom, sadly, was a let-down, and this is the most important element when staying in a hotel. Wouldn`t recommend I`m afraid.

"Excellent hotel in the heart of theatreland"

Couldn`t fault the service, breakfast was excellent, staff couldn`t do enough for you. Hotel room adequate, view not brilliant, but don`t go to London to sit in room. Didn`t use leisure facilities so can`t comment. Excellent hotel and location would definitely use again.

Great hotel, ideal location right on edge of Covent Garden, just 5 mins axxxxx. Plenty of pubs, restaurants within a few minutes walk. The tube station is just around the corner . Friendly staff, the hotel is very clean. I`ve stayed here before and would certainly do so again. Only one small thing that might be worth a mention is the water pressure in the bathroom isn`t very good, but that won`t stop me staying there again. Good quality toiletries provided, breakfast very good.

Hotel was great, good gym helpful staff, clean and spacious for London. Good tube links. Afternoon tea overpriced and was the only under par part of the whole experience. All in all I`d recommend this hotel and will use again (minus the tea)

"Little Pricey"

Excellent hotel, room very comfortable, nice setting for Covent Garden etc. Drinks very pricey, Bar staff appeared not to be as friendly as reception desk area. Guy on door, most polite and very welcoming to guests. Bit expensive for late check out, although they offer an hour free to assist. Not taking up though, but would definitely stay here again.

"Expected better."

Bed uneven and uncomfortable, pillows like sleeping on bricks! Room doors are vicious to the point of dangerous, caught my left arm in mine trying to get out of my room. Bathrooms poor for a 4* and totally unsuitable for anyone with a disability. First and last stay.

"If you want sleep don`t stay here!"

On first impression the staff are friendly, the hotel is clean and the room is fine. Unfortunately the windows are so thin that you can here everything outside, especially the night club until 4am! We went axxxxx for a long overdue night axxxxx to get some sleep as we have a two year old!! We had our evening out then headed to bed. At 4.30am the police sirens had stopped and the screaming and shouting by the drunks had quietened and we finally managed to get to sleep. It wasn`t much quieter in the corridors inside the hotel. When we told the manager in the morning she said there was little she could do and had said they were having problems with the night club. I pointed out they just needed double glazing. We will not be staying there again.

Needs a refurb, seemed dated for a 4 star, shower was poor and the bellini was awful, however, clean, good location, and the doormen were great. We will definitely use again as it`s a reasonable price.

"Noise Noise Noise"

Maybe not all Hotel,s Fault But the noise from surrounding Clubs Pubs Etc went on untill 6AM.Then there was even more racket from nearby building work.The Hotel could however install extra double glazing in an effort to give guests at least a chance of some sleep. Also had one of the Hotel,s all on one plate lunches which was dreadfull,but was offered no reduction to compensate.Would NEVER stay here again.
