"Average hotel which failed to tell us of the massive roadworks outside"

Ok if you don`t mind staying outside city centre and hiring a car. The room was large and clean and the breakfast was Ok but had to queue to give in breakfast voucher behind paying guests and therefore breakfast was cold by the time I got to eat it. Should have separate queue for people who have paid upfront for breakfast. Lift broke down frequently and we were only their 2 nights

It is very misleading, when you review on your we site that you are 10 minutes away from the Red Cow Luas stop. We only booked this hotel based on this information. In reality (and we have done this walk) it is nearer 30 minutes from the Luas. This should be correct on your website so that it does not mislead anyone else.

"Good value hotel in excellent location."

Booked this hotel at short notice for family weekend away. We have stayed in area numerous times and found very accessible. This was our first experience of this hotel chain and first impressions very good. Room clean and tidy on arrival and beds ready made. Usually we find a double bed and sofa bed but to find three separate beds was good. Breakfast good and well worth paying in advance. Cost us extra £17 and would have cost in excess of 50 euro if paid at time. Minor niggles let the experience down a little. +ve: Great welcome and size/quality of suite. Extra towels great. Good choice of TV channels. -ve: Could be noisy due to busy adjacent N7. Room very hot at night. No air con or fan. Opening window increased road traffic noise. Cashier was very sniffy with us when demanding vouchers. We were unaware of procedures as first time visitors. Disappointing as rest of staff great.

"some shortcomings"

No soap or shampoo in bedrooms. We made three requests for 4 extra pillows(4 people sharing a family room) before one extra arrived at least half an hour after we`d gone to bed.

another lovely stay at Bewleys unfortunately on the friday night we had no hot water (and off on a family night after travelling from the North East of England with just a cold water wash as a shower was impossible) and when bringing it to the reception staffs notice we were told "We are dealing with it"!!!!! no explanation, no apology or even an offer of a goodwill free drink at the bar!!

A most excellent and enjoyable stay. the performance and helpfulness of the staff and the hotel facilities surpasses its three star rating. I chose this hotel for ease of access to the motorway and road system.

"Breakfast pricing is a complete and utter joke - IRISH that is."

I was charged varying amounts from 8.30 to 10.60 for exactly the same breakfast, over a 6 day stay. One explanation given was that I didn`t qualify for the "Healthy Breakfast" fixed price because I hadn`t taken a yogurt. That`s the first time I have been charged for not having something. Another time I was charged 1.50 for a half glass of milk which I had taken to put over my cereal (which was of course charged separately). There was no additional charge when, at the till, I had tipped the milk over the cereal!!!! On another occasion I had taken white bread when I should have taken brown. UNBELIEVABLE.

Thought that the hotel was great. Great sized room for myself and three children. Lovely staff with a good attitude. Will stay again. Handy enough to City Centre but plenty of places nearby to eat if you don`t want to endure Dublin traffic

"Very good value for money over a very busy weekend. Convenient to Luas park and ride"

Staff helpful. Ground floor rooms clean and spacious, smoke free with no noise and just the right temperature. I would stay here again and reccomend it to familly and friends.

the hotel is great in general, but the smell of stale tobacco smoke lingers throughout. smell a bit like old buses back in the UK

Welcome was very friendly and obliging,staff were helpful whenever asked.Room was of a high standard and was well presented.Would recomend to anybody!

"Good service, and a friendly hotel "

We needed to move rooms and this was very easily done. Very good food, though a bit pricey by UK standards and you`ll need a mortgage if bying a bottle of wine!!
