Hotel needs an upgrade, very out of date furnishings. Plug sockets dangerous. Bathroom dirty. Do not use room safe...not secure. Staff very friendly.

Spent couple days here with my daughter on a shopping trip. Hotel was in a great location, close to all shops on Grafton Street etc Rooms are basic but large enough, clean, warm and comfortable. All you could want for short stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, nice and clean, staff very helpful anything we asked for was there within 5 mins. We had a room at the front, it was very noisy and unless the rooms at the back are quieter I would not stay there again.

Rundown appearance. Glass canopy over main entrance was filthy-accrued over years. Bedroom carpet heavily stained in many places. Ancient TV , furnishing old and unbeautiful. The worst breakfast (£8 extra) I`ve ever encountered. Cheapest possible ingredients. Only the toast was edible.

"Clean comfortable room, great staff but avoid Room 319 if you want to sleep!"
The location is great and the staff are very helpful. I was allowed to stay several hours after my noon checkout as it was more convenient for me. However, on the Tuesday night I couldn`t get to sleep before 1am as the music form the bar next door was deafening. If you`re partying yourself, it`s not likely to be a problem but if you`re working in Dublin, it`s a real pain! The following nights were far quieter. On the whole I would recommend as it`s a decent hotel for a fair price in an expensive city.

"Convenient to everything, shopping centre, Grafton Street & bars, lots of bars."
The hotel may be a bit dated but its clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. Towels are clean & soft. Bed is big & cosy. The convenience to the town is excellent for the money. We have already decided to return and stay but longer this time.

"Rooms old decor but smelled and looked clean."
This hotel was a bargain price and my only criticism is that wifi was only available on 1st floor and really wasn`t very good. This meant I could not work at the hotel without connecting to my phones 3G.

"Seagulls - Roadworks and Nite Club"
Stayed here before and its a decent hotel. Spoilt this time by early morning Roadworks right outside and pesky Seagulls ! Some noise from revellers smoking outside the Niteclub but hey this is Dublin so don`t expect it to be a Library!

My husband and I had a lovely four day mid week break in this very centrally situated hotel near Grafton Street? The bedroom was clean, comfortable and heated to a good temperature. Wi fi was free and breakfast was very good value for the price.

"Need Updating"
Staff were very pleasant and did change my room when asked as I had been allocated a room over the bar which was not very good as I had a 4 year child with me. The bathroom was a little dirty this could have been due to the mould around the shower. Breakfast was excellent overall was a good stay.

Aesthetically pleasing hotel with plenty of character. Bathroom and room nice and clean. TV reception poor/pointless, but room served it`s purpose very nicely. Staff helpful too. Recommend on a budget.

"Noisey"
Room was very noisey, could easily hear crowd outside. The room was also located beside staff elevator so there was more noise. On top of this the guy in room beside us was crying all night for some reason ! Terrible experience. Staff were not friendly.

"Nightclubs and hotels don`t mix well"
Awful nightclub disco music booming through room until 4 am. No sleep and exhausted. I would not stay there again.

"Midweek City Break -"
Lovely hotel placed within a 10 minute walk of temple bar but far enough so it isn`t noisy. A news store opposite which is handy and very clean surroundings. The hotel itself has very helpful staff, letting us check in 5 hours early after an early flight into Dublin and kept our baggage whilst we checked out and went around town. Free WIFI on the second floor but as we were on the 5th i couldn`t get a signal. Free view in the room which is very clean and bed very very comfy. All in all a very nice hotel and i would stay again, Having been to Dublin five times this is up there in my top 2 hotels. Recommended

Entrance to hotel is grim, staff were unfriendly and not very helpful! Bar was not open! Bedroom was clean but very old fashioned, very difficult to sleep due to uncomfortable bed and the heat in room was unbearable - no way to control temperature and if window was opened the city noise would have been alot louder! Only positive of this hotel is the location - directly behind Stephen`s Green Shopping centre!

"Grafton Hotel."
Although we enjoyed our stay we feel the hotel would benefit from a bit of a facelift.A lot of the furniture was well worn and rather dated,the room we stayed in although adequate the furniture and fittings definetely needed replacing.
