"Friendly and extremely efficient."
The hotel team, from the garage parking attendant, reception, restaurant and house keeping staff were friendly and efficient. All greeted us with warm smile and seemed genuiinely intrested in making us enjoy our stay. And the bed was super comfortable. Many thanks.

"Pretty Poor !"
Reported heating not working in room twice,my wife went to bed in a thick nightie, thermal vest and socks on both nights. It was freezing in the room. Power cut for three hours did not help as we were preparing to go out for the evening and almost missed our booked, pre-theater dinner. Staff were very good and the breakfast was excellent.

"Was one of the best new years i have had without a doubt"
Was one of the best new years i have had without a doubt and i owe most of it to the pleasant and helpful staff. The only bad thing that happened was that it took 4 hours for our luggage to be bought up to our room.

Lovely hotel, super waiting staff very kind to our 4year old crandson, garage staff very helpful. Lovely breakfast, dinner and snacks excellent. Would have rated hotel as excellent plus but tho` we booked in at 11 am when we came back at 6.00 1room not ready and we had to wait for child`s bed.

"Wonderful!"
We only stayed one night but we found the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Rooms are nice and the mattress on the bed was about a foot thick and the most comfortable I have ever slept on! On the down side we found the bathroom a little bit small and the walls are very thin so you can easily hear your neighbours. I would still rate this hotel as excellent.

"Not long enough! "
We thought the hotel had a lovely feel to it and all the staff, especially reception, were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. We would not hesitate to recommend the Churchill and hope to stay with you again in the future.

"Very efficiently serviced room"
I have visited this hotel before and have been promoted to the 8th Floor, which has it`s own check-in and private all-day buffet facilites. Very, very comfortable and clean and convenient for my purposes in central London. Additionally the underground car-parking was not as exorbitant as other places: I`ll definitely go again.

"OUR OVERALL OPINION OF THE CHURCHILL HOTEL"
i think to class the hotel as 5 star is laughable. I have had better quality food in a little chef. The rooms were clean but very basic, no extra little 5* touches. There was no bar open on sunday lunch time to have a relaxing drink. Sorry but on behalf of my family and I , WE MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.Great pity and very expensive.

Generally very good. Only problems were a bath which took hours to drain away - several attempts were made by hotel staff to fix this but without any success; and excessive delay at reception when checking out. Otherwise good service, comfy bed, quiet room, good food. Stayed 3 nights.

All of the staff were very helpful and welcoming. the room was very nice and nothing lacking. Breakfast was exceptional and plenty to choose from. 5 minutes walk from Marble Arch tub and a few minutes walk from Oxford Street shops. Great stay.

The service was utterly awesome, very friendly staff, only too happy to help...... The only slight problem was the room service food. It was to say at best very poor. Having said that within five hundred meters of the lobby doors, your on oxford road, so if you can`t get a decent bite to eat there you really shouldn`t be in London! The Hotel resturant had a brilliant atmosphere, and even better food. The breakfast is uncomparable with anything else, oustanding! Proper sausages!!! Begs the question why did i even use room service in the first place i suppose?

"Nice smart hotel with very good service"
Churchill Hotel is a very comfortable hotel with good service. I understand the rooms have just been refurbished and it shows - lovely and modern but still very comfortable if only some other London hotels would upgrade in this way - there is nothing stuffy or old fashioned about this place but it still has the style and service of an old style international hotel but does not look out of date and tired like most of them.

Beautiful surroundings, helpful and pleasant staff, fantastic breakfast. We had two connecting rooms, which was perfect for a girls weekend away, although they were a tad on the small size. I will definitely stay here again!

"ROOMS:"
We stayed at the Churchill quite afew years ago and had very fond memories of our visist. The rooms were very richly decorated and had a very inviting feel to them. Sadly our recent visit found the rooms to be very, very small and modern with their decor. This gave the rooms a very cold feel to them. Had a small bottle of Evian water from the minibar £4. We have recently returned from a trip to Australia and stayed in many hotels, alot of which offered complimentary mineral water. Overall London hotels are extremely expensive and do not offer value for money.

We enjoyed our one-night stay and our only regret was that we couldn`t stay longer. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. We certainly plan to stay again in the future.

"PROBLEMS WITH ROOM SERVICE AND FOOD RECD"
WHILST I HAVE PAID REQUESTED ROOM SERVICE BILL FOR FOOD AND SERVICE CHARGE ON TOP THIS WAS MADE ON THE BASIS HAT I WOULD ADVICE YOU OF MY DISAPPOINTMENT AND DISSATISFACTION IT TOOK SOME 15 MINUTES PLUS TO GET HOLD OF ROOM SERVICE EVENTUALLY THROUGH RECEPTION FOOD ARRIVED APROX 1/2 HOUR LATER LUKE WARM. THIS WAS MY WIFES BIRTHDAY-1ST JAN AND WAS SPOILT SOMEWHAT TO SAY THE LEAST. PLEASE ADVISE ME OF YOUR PROPOSALS.
