"A lovely hotel "
We had a great few nights at the Cavendish. Easy check in/out, very friendly, relaxed but efficient staff, great choice of food for breakfast and rooms squeaky clean and well equipped. Good location on the seafront and close to town.

The only complain i would make is the hotel is very hot, but when we asked for the windows to be opened it was done immediately and my sister in law was given a fan

"Birthday Weekend Relaxation"
Lovely hotel which was comfortable & suitable for the booked occasion (my wife`s birthday). Thought it was actually nicer than The Grand where we have stayed previously, only comment would be to arrange more staff for the bar (we were told by the man looking after it they were understaffed at the moment, hence the dirty tables etc) Apart from that, would recommend.

"A fantastic hotel"
I was staying for one night and wish I had stayed longer. Customer service was the best I have seen in any hotel I have been too. The breakfast was one of the best I had had in a hotel. Worth it` Best hotel I have stayed in the UK and one of the best I have stayed. Customer service, breakfast, and spa fantastic. Worth four stars and experience made me want to go back to Eastbourne and stay there again.

"Draughty windows with sea view rooms. Blew a gale on our stay.old windows let draughts into bedroom"
All other services including restaurant were excellent. Was charged with car park use on checkout. There is no mention of car park charges anywhere on the hotel website..argued the point and it was deducted straight away. To get sea view rooms you need to ask/upgrade and pay an extra £20 a night...which is not really worth it. Overall staff etc ...and all very good...8/10.

"Disapointed at first as we couldn`t have the wet room we had booked.Very small shower in room we had"
Despite the difficulties as the shower was difficult for my husband the room was nice and spacious.The bathroom door didn`t shut either but it was mended as soon as I reported it. Food was lovely and it has a spacious and light restaurant.

"The library is a fake."
This otherwise excellent hotel has a lounge described on the website as "beautiful library": it is an interesting room but has only two real books and many fake shelves with dummy bookspines!!

"I have found the perfect hotel"
After a very hard year i decided to just have a weekend at least away from everything,What a weekend i have never felt so cared for,nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff,eating or just having a coffee in the lounge no-one hurried you,and for a very small sum the ultamate breakfast delivered to your room.my only regret is that i never stayed for a week.coming home relaxed is an understatement. thankyou to all the staff at the cavendish.

My husband and myself had a very enjoyable couple of nights stay at the cavendish, the hotel is of a very high standard and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent. It would be nice to have a little music or even a pianist in the lounge area as it does come across as a little quiet at times. Overall a great hotel :)

We stayed here for 2 nights on 17th October and enjoyed the whole package. We had a spacious room overlooking the sea and promenade. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.It was lovely to have tea,coffee,hot chocolate and bottled water in the room.The food was excellent and the staff were friendly.We were able to park in the hotel car park.Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to friends.

The Cavendish Hotel is magnificent with wonderful sea views, beautiful decore, excellent well-equipped bedrooms and highly friendly and efficient staff. The cost for the room offers great value when compared with other similar hotels in Eastbourne and Brighton.

"Absolutely Fantastic"
My husband and I stayed at the Cavendish Hotel back in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were surprised at how grand the hotel was, we weren`t expecting it to be so luxurious. So when we had another free weekend we decided that we would make a return trip. At our request we were given the same room as before, and again it was just as we had hoped. Beautiful views of the sea and the pier, incredibly comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. We will definatley be staying here again.

"Good enough for the Duke of Devonshire, good enough for me"
The bed felt soft and we could not open the window for fresh air but we slept soundly nevertheless. The staff were all well trained to be helpful and polite and overall the hotel felt very comfortable. This is my first choice of hotel in Eastbourne, the Hydro is delightful but too far out and The Grand is as the name suggests and also too remote.

"Everything was good"
We found from reception to the waiters, and the cleaning staff, everyone was pleasant and helpful. Now on a diet after the sumptuous breakfasts.
