"Fit for Purpose!"

Well located,easy ride into West End on Cental line. Great room, modern bathroom, scrupulously clean, good "rain" shower. Staff pleasant and friendly. The only downer is breakfast- canteen conditions ie:grab a seat where you can! Not easy! Lack of any discernible fruit content, apart from apples and oranges which were only available by request from behind the hot food buffet. Cooked breakfast was basically tepid as collected! Unattractive sausages, lumpiest hash browns ever! Fruit juices were of the orange drink variety, very sugary! Felt an element of sympathy for the guys who were clearing the tables!This hotel has masses of potential-great location, good rooms but need to sort out the breakfast!

"Good value for money"

The hotel itself was good value for money. However, my only issue was that when I checked in around 3:45pm my room was not ready so needed to wait for housekeeping to get my room ready which was inconvenient. Hotel was situated in a very good location. Room to a good standard though small (single shower room). Overall, I would book again for the location it was good value.

Friendly staff, single room a little shabby but everything clean and I had two good nights sleep. Hair dryer wasn`t working so it was replaced.

"No Aircon"

Single rooms are cramped. I had to stand sideways at the bathroom sink as my shoulders wouldn`t fit between the wall and the shower cubical. The biggest killer is that there was no air conditioning. The room was very hot which made it difficult to sleep and with the window open it meant that the street noise was very loud. Maybe a hotel to consider in the winter time if you`re on a tight budget but not during the summer.

"Perfect location at a great price"

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Short walk to Marble Arch, literally everything on your doorstep. Loads of different restaurants around i.e Lebinese shisha restaurants to your regular Chinese. I will be coming back next month for sure.

"Problem of room without climatisation and breakfast not possible in the room"

HI, We have appreciate your establisment but we are lightly desappointed about the fact that the news room have no climatisation and the old are not very clean. My wife wanted to have breakfast in room or replacing the option of breakfast, i have taken for her, but the opportunity i take some goods in the room. never was possible. For holidays it`s not easy. for the rest, the location is good and the service is correct sorry for my poor English. Faithfully yours Max RAGEAU

"Some staff more helpful than others - no flexability with requests - no private smoking facilities "

Breakfast disappointing - no private discreet smoking facilities left out on the street - problems with booking details - adequate room facilities - lack of information from reception on extended departure times and baggage storage for late departures. None of this information was given on arrival and check in.

"Could be much better"

Convenient location, good size room, powerful shower. Wifi did not work at all despite paying for it, very poor, bed too soft, breakfast was very poor with cheap, lukewarm food and no fresh fruit. Room walls are so thin you can hear everything, and guests coming and going all Nite so almost zero sleep. Will not return,

The hotel is in a good location from which to explore central London - it was great to be minutes form Hyde Park

"Vastly improved upgraded room"

Very impressed by newly upgraded room, thought I was in a different hotel. One point for the particular room, 406 as I remember, there was a very distinct `dripping` sound coming from the right hand wall beside the window. At first I thought it was water dripping but was no evidence showing but started again next morning & came to the conclusion it must be pipes expanding with heat behind wall. Not unbearable but could see it being distinctly annoying for some people. Just for your benefit.

"6th floor bedromm"

Our room on the 6th floor had large patches of damp on the ceiling where there had obviously been a leak. There was mildew in one corner of the ceiling. The TV control did not have a cover so the batteries kept on falling out. There was a large metal box fixed on the wall behind the head end of the bed which meant that the bed could not be pushed back against the waal so the pillows kept falling down between the wall and the bed.

Good value, room fairly compact but very clean and comfortable bed. The only thing stopping me awarding an excellent rating was that the breakfast wasn`t hot but lukewarm! Would stay here again.

Excellent reception area and staff. Room was comfortable and everything worked although the mattress wasn`t up to Premier Inn standard. Terrific breakfast and very well looked after. Will definitely go back if the price is right!

We were in room 327 the only comment we would have is that we could hear running water all the time and that the walls were a little thin and we could hear other hotel guests in their rooms.

"Fantastic Value for Money"

Although the room was relatively small, it was taken up by a massive and comfortable bed. Very quiet, extremely clean, the only thing I would say is that the room was very hot, in part due to being unable to turn off the towel rail in the bathroom and not wanting to leave the air con on over night which was quite noisy. The breakfast which was included was absolutely lovely and plenty of it. Also what was really nice was it was served till 11am at the weekend and so it meant we could really take it easy. The hotel is really close to the underground and bus stop and there are loads of restaurants of all kinds nearby. Also a nice bar area with TV if you want to have a drink once you get back to base, with very reasonably priced room service. Highly recommended!

"Good position especially for stroll through Hyde Park and welcoming staff"

Breakfast good value with choice of bread, jams, cereals and full cooked English breakfast. One suggestion would be to include some fresh fruit such as bananas and melon to complement cereals. Good location which allows close walking proximity to Oxford street and Hyde Park. Very plesant when the weather is good and ok in the rain as Lancaster Gate underrground is close by. Staff helpful and were welcoming. I had a small problem with the safety deposit box which was sorted quickly. Also helpful in the left luggage office.

Maybe I`m being harsh but I would only give this hotel 2 or maybe 3 stars. The room we were given was `cosy` to put it in a positive way. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together, with plenty of bumps and uncomfortable bits to be found in the middle on the edges of the mattresses. If you want to switch the lights on or off whilst in bed you had to move the pillows to find the switches - these are positioned for single beds! There were rips in the wallpaper and you needed binoculars to be able to view the small tv screen from the bed. The service was good and as we were only there 1 night didn`t complain. It is conveniently located about 3 mins from Queensway tube station. At breakfast they ran out of fruit juice glasses and coffee cups which left about a dozen people kicking about for 5-10 mins whilst somebody got some more and the same happened with croissants.

put in a room that sounded like it was next to a boiler. it had no windows and did not get any sleep. had to ask to be moved for the second night of our stay and that room was better.would not stay here again.

"Excellent value for money"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Central Park Hotel Bayswater. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard with modern fittings and our twin room was a good size for central London. Overall excellent value for money when combined with theatre tickets.

"Comfortable"

The rooms are simple and looking a bit tired but I think they are going to renovate soon. Breakfast good, normal English style. Overall good value for money because hotels in London are crazy prices! Location great, tube station and nice restaurants close by.
