"Adequate"

The hoitel was pleasant, most staff were civil, although the check in staff were the least freindly and helpful. Our room was in the basement and was clean and well kept?that said it did feel like we were in the basement with stark white walls and functional decor. Realy disappointed that a full English breakfast (costing 10 pounds) consisted of bread rolls, ham, cheese and coffee. If the hotel wasn`t in London it would be considered overpriced.

Bed to soft and sagged in the middle, bathroom to hot and the shower sprayed all over the place if you put the water over half way on tap.The breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location, helpful staff, at reception, check in and out dealt with promptly and efficiently, rooms cleaned excellently, breakfast plentiful, varied, a good experience. I would book to stay here again.

"Reasonable hotel."

The Central Park Hotel is close to Hyde Park and only a 20 minute walk from Paddington Station. Reception and bar areas nice and welcoming, as were all the staff. Our family room 3 single beds was a bit cramped as was the bathroom. Huge shower which was lovely. Good range of food for breakfast, although no hot food on our final day as there was a problem with the kitchen. Plenty of other choices though. Would consider using this hotel again.

"great location"

the hotel was busy, but staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. There was a strange dip in the floor under the carpet near the bathroom, which was a trip hazard, bathroom fittings were tired and the sink cosmetically cracked. I stayed just one night, it was the perfect location for my planned trip to London and enjoyed it`s proximity to Kensington gardens and Hyde Park. The breakfast was good, tea and coffee and continental breakfast was self service. Overall a good hotel that I would use again

"Room was a box in the basement!!!!"

Room in basement, no windows and could easily hear people in other rooms and corridors, air conditioning worked but only blew ice cold. Double bed in room but only just! Laminated floor had been wet and was lifting, light switches, fans and toilet flush all loose. Breakfast was luke warm at best and very basic for the money. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Would never return!!!!

"Central Park hotel near Hyde park"

Entrance to the hotel very smart and big. Reception staff friendly and professional. Room very clean, slightly smaller than expected. Bed very comfortable. En suite adequate and power shower excellent. Breakfast was lovely. We had the Full English. I did have to ask for more coffee, sugar and milk for the room as only 2 of each was provided, but the staff gave us more.

"convenient location"

this was my second visit to the Central Park Hotel. It is in a fantastic location, just a short bus ride to the West End; and if you like walking a lovely stroll through Hyde Park brings you down to Kensington High Street. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The fridge in the room in my opinion was dangerous, it was that hot it was more like a radiator and made the room like a sauner. Not a good nights sleep.

Hotel very modern and very clean. Central location for bars and underground. Great having a night cap and the end of a busy day in the hotel bar, friendly staff in the lobby, hotel restaurant at breakfast and hotel bar. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again when visiting London. Thanks.

"No air conditioner!!!!!"

Average hotel- no air con which made our stay awful!!! On the 7th floor it was way too hot to sleep! Not slept well at all!

"Not the greatest"

Room not clean, two single beds pushed together to act as a double, so one side up against the wall. Was not given breakfast voucher on arrival and then had to prove to staff that breakfast was included on confirmation paperwork but told it wasn`t there end, poor service from reception, breakfast was enjoyable on the plus side

"Ok but great location "

Good for money but only problem was that there was no air condition and only a fan that didn`t really work, therefore it was absolutely boiling and because of that neither of us could sleep! However hotel is clean and comfy and is a fantastic location 4 tube stops from the west end so ideal for going to musicals. Also is right in the centre of London and right opposite Kensington gardens so feels very safe.

"Excellent location for my needs."

The staff for the most part were friendly and approachable.. The bedroom (Single) was clean and well decorated but the en-suite was tiny. I am a size 14 and just managed to cope...anyone bigger would have struggled! The TV fixed diagonally to the wall faced slightly away from the bed and there was nowhere else to sit. Need drawers for storage too.

"Reasonably priced hotel in good location"

The hotel located in a quiet street off Bayswater Road, it is close to Queensway London Underground & close to bus routes into central London & entrance to Hyde Park just across Bayswater Road. The hotel and room was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was big enough, with a decent sized bathroom with bath & shower. Plenty of storage with drawers & hanging space.Tea & coffee making facilities are provided, as is an electronic safe. They have a central secure place to store luggage.

"Second time used. Location ideal for tourists.Nice to have park closeby."

A no frills hotel with easy access to London`s highlights. Clean and tidy accomodation. The free breakfast was a bonus, Suggestion!! Bring back the fried eggs for the English guests staying.Hard boiled ones dont go with a fry up. Just a small point. Apart from that ALL GOOD.

"Value for money.......nothing special"

For central London it was a reasonable price,bar and reception areas are lovely ......our bedroom was basic,like a hostel but clean. Breakfast was shambolic,lack of seating food was just about ok

"poor breakfast and very poor concierge"

we asked the concierge to call us a black cab But he got an UBER car to take us and he did not know how to get to the theatre and said we could walk the last bit But charged us £25 for a journey of about 2 miles. The full english breakfast was very poor no fried eggs just very watery scrambled eggs. and the breakfast room was caotic

"cold!!!!!!!!!"

Complained 3 times to reception that the heating was not working and the room was cold and was told each time someone would be bringing a heater up to the room. Didn`t carry on pursuing as we had to go out to the show and after I couldn`t be bothered 3 times should be enough so not happy!!

"Fit for Purpose!"

Well located,easy ride into West End on Cental line. Great room, modern bathroom, scrupulously clean, good "rain" shower. Staff pleasant and friendly. The only downer is breakfast- canteen conditions ie:grab a seat where you can! Not easy! Lack of any discernible fruit content, apart from apples and oranges which were only available by request from behind the hot food buffet. Cooked breakfast was basically tepid as collected! Unattractive sausages, lumpiest hash browns ever! Fruit juices were of the orange drink variety, very sugary! Felt an element of sympathy for the guys who were clearing the tables!This hotel has masses of potential-great location, good rooms but need to sort out the breakfast!

"Good value for money"

The hotel itself was good value for money. However, my only issue was that when I checked in around 3:45pm my room was not ready so needed to wait for housekeeping to get my room ready which was inconvenient. Hotel was situated in a very good location. Room to a good standard though small (single shower room). Overall, I would book again for the location it was good value.
