The room was very good and the staff very helpful but the matress of the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable as every spring could be felt. We asked for an extra blanket and put this under the sheet to make it more comfortable. The use of the thin memory foam matresses on top of the sofa bed could alleviate this problem.

Very very clean, good facilities, and very central. Enjoyable stay and would revisit. Local area had a nice square with 3 or 4 restaurants only a 2 min walk from hotel.

Nice clean hotel, the down side is the tube is quite a walk especially if you kids. The breakfast could have a better variety of food but what was there was plentiful.

"A fantastic hotel with great facilities for a family short break"
The room was well sized with A/C and TV although we couldn`t get ITV, no hardship though The pool is excellent with steam room, jacuuzi and swish changing rooms. Every staff member we met was very cheery,polite and helpful. Bus station 2 minutes walk, tube 10 minutes walk. Nothing bad to say, we had a brilliant 4 day break to see the sights and we are all looking forward to return probably after the olympics to do the same again.

"Enjoyed a great nights sleep"
Visited London for a short break, mum and 2 adult daughters. The hotel room had 2 double beds and toiletries in the bathroom, everything was clean. We bought a day travel ticket each at Kings Cross, to use on all transport. The no63 bus runs every few minutes between hotel and Kings Cross, then tube to visit Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, Oxford St etc. Left bags at hotel on last day and collected in the evening on our way back to Euston for train home. Had a great time!

"No frills but comfortable"
Pretty standard xxxxx xxxxx. A LONG walk from any tube station. Pool is nice BUT an extra charge to use (!) and hopeless opening hours if you have kids and want to go out into London too! We won`t rush back.

"Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, quiet area with good transport links into the city"
One week spent at xxxxx xxxxx Kings Cross, myself and 2 teenage daughters. Room very clean and comfortable with maid service daily. TV, fridge and everything required including hairdryer, shampoo soaps etc etc. Good lift service and lovely staff at reception, the bar and maid service. We didn`t eat in the restaurant so can`t comment. For those on a smaller budget there is a decent cafe across the road. Taxis constantly outside to take guests to any destinations and No. 63 bus stop 20 feet away. My advice to those out throughout the day, or coming from Euston/Kings Cross stations is to get a taxi as Londoners " two minutes walk" is more like 20 across very busy roads.

clean and comfortable, added bonus having the pool and spa facility, although the pool isnt big the spa area is lovely. The concierge staff were most helpful in offering directions, advice etc, we bought our big bus ticket at the hotel and could hop on at Russell square, just to say it is a bit of walk for small kids from tube at kings cross or russell but only £5 if you do need a cab if its late. only short distance to Angel if you want a movie ! xxxxx xxxxx was a good experience for us.

Hotel cleanliness and service faultless. Have used this hotel before and will use again. Staff very helpful. Food excellent but a little expensive. Family room with two kingsize beds and all facilitiesand toiletries provided. It is 10 minute walk from kings cross station or 5 min by taxi £6. A little further out from shops and theatre you need taxis or use tube. Overall an excellent hotel would reccommend.

We had a family room and it would have been better if it had two singles and one double bed instead of two double beds as the kids didn`t enjoy sharing. But that was the only disappointment.

nice organised by you guys, very easy particullary as I`m in Cornwal too! The hotel was great, no problems, very friendly and efficient. I found it comfortable and the facilites that I used were very high and at the price VERY good indeed. A short stay as I need to catch the Eurostar- I had a very early walk to the station from the hotel in the very early hours, as I wanted a hotel mcuh closer to the terminal that walk won`t suit many people -

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel was situated within walking distance of the West End and was clean and the facilities very good (although you did have to pay to use the pool). Buffet breakfast was adequate, although a little expensive considering the cafe across the road did the same for a fraction of the price. Overall a fanastic family xxxxx.

Excellent hotel, good sized family room with two double beds. Downside distance from nearest tube which is Kings Cross, Pentonville Road and is only open week days and closes at 8pm. Can walk to the hotel from the main train stations, but definitely need a map.

hotel was fine for my needs . cleaning staff need to be spoken to. did not put in morning call , yet was called every few mins from 8 until 8.30 . very annoying . spoke to receptionest and she just shrugged . restaurant staff were polite , food was adequate , luke warm and reheated. desserts were devine . the barman on monday was a joy , he made my girls wery happy , with his tricks ,and was very welcoming . more like him please . wont be in a hurry back.

on the wxxxxxe a good hotel some issues though the front door fell of as we went through nit and then it never worked the wxxxxxe time of our stay very noisy in the room with a staff room being close by a letter from management slid under the door early in the morning requesting credit card details and we got charged for using the hotels pool 3.50 each person each day this they say is to let you use it as many time as you want during the stay we thought that was fly and a little cheeky considering this was well over 100 pound a night

Poor reception breakfast in a mess and bad quality food bad enterainment in the room no parking and the entrance of the hotel Was poor there were no bars to sit at while we wait and no staff to take our bags up so we have todrag them up and down the size of the room doesn`t live up to it`s name of the family room you always feel squashed the windows weren`t double glazed so you could hear the noise from outside there is no privacy you can hear your neighbors we feel decieved since it didn`t feel Iike four stars and we will never come again there was no parking
