"Great Choice"
The staff were absolutely superb from reception, to bar staff to restaurant staff. I have to give special mention to Oriana, Kasia and Dalma in the restaurant where we had evening meal on our last night. There was a slight problem because the food was a bit slow in coming. This is normally no problem for us but we had an evening show and the dessert took 25 minutes to arrive. It was delicious however (banana fritter) and the staff dealt with the delay perfectly. The meal was excellent. However, I must give an extra special mention to Villo in the bar/restaurant. My wife and I arrived Friday afternoon on a celebration weekend for my 65th birthday. My daughter had arrived as a surprise and Villo played her part in the surprise and throughout our stay was a delightful hostess. Her genuine interest in making our visit special was a delight. I should say that I am not easy to please but this visit was perfectly provided by the xxxxx Hotel.

"Couldn`t have been better."
Me and my wife came here for a little honeymoon. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was buffet and was in plenty. It`s close to the tube and loads of shops. Wish we could of stayed longer.

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and obliging. The bedroom was quite small for a double room but adequate if all you want is somewhere to put your head down for the night. Bed wasn`t particularly comfortable but for the price we paid and the location it is good value.

"Comfortable stay"
Like most London hotels the room was small and only able to view the TV whilst sitting on the bed as it didn`t rotate to be viewed from the chair. Comfortable bed, very clean, modern shower room. Only me in the room, it would have been interesting trying to manoeuvre around had there been 2 of us. A good , varied buffet breakfast

"Four star all the way"
From the moment we arrived at reception and given a 5star welcome and given a upgrade to a family room . We knew this was going to be a fantastic first visit to London. The room over looked Green Park , was very clean , modern and spacious . Every thing from tea making to dressing gowns and slippers were supplied not to mention the iron and board awaiting you in the wardrobe . Breakfast was amazing so much choice and even a chef to make you your fresh omelettes to start your day. Thank you for an absolutely fab stay we highly the recommend the xxxxx hotel and hope to stay again soon.

"Weekend Stay January 2014 "
12.5% Service Charge on all drinks from the Bar Small Bottle Water £3.50 (extortionate) We have stayed in many 4* hotels in London and have never paid a Service Charge on our drinks from the Bar, nor have we paid £3.50 for a bottle of water. This hotel was booked as a hidden gem. Very disappointed when arrived, the hotel from the outside looked like something from the 70`s and was above a petrol station. However rooms were nice, clean and modern, Hotel restaurant a little pricey but food was excellent. Have stayed in better hotels which cost a lot less.

"The high prices of London don`t afford you much space in the bedrooms . "
Overall the hotel was very good and the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast again had everything you would expect and for a `buffet style` it was one of the best I have experienced. Once again my only critism would be the tiny rooms; we did manage to upgrade on the second night to a family room which was much better.

We had a fabulous overnight stay - rooms very comfortable, staff could not be more helpful, breakfast was delicious and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to an executive room on the top floor which had stunning views over Hyde Park.

"Brilliant Welcome"
I had booked this xxxxx xxxxx hotel to celebrate my husband`s 60th birthday. It was a pleasant walk across the xxxxx to the museums which he wanted to visit. The service was excellent. Tina, our booking-in receptionist asked us if we were there for a special occasion. When I told her that it was my husband`s birthday she made sure that we had a lovely room overlooking the park and when we came back to our room later that day we found a gorgeous cake and a card. signed by all the staff. What a lovely surprise! One night we had a meal in the restaurant. The menu was varied but not too varied and the prices reasonable. We were adventurous (for us) and tried the Nasi Goreng, which was delicious. Apart from the birthday treat we found all the staff to be pleasant and helpful and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.

"Excellent Hidden Gem hotel"
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Room was spotless with very comfortable bed. Breakfast included on our room rate which was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel

"Lovely clean rooms"
The rooms are lovely and clean, with very comfy beds, a good size tv, safe and hair dryer, the shower is amazing and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice.

Although it was a pain to walk with our bags to the sister hotel . The hotel was of an except able ,,and I would be happy to Stay there again . I did feel the change of hotel was to put us in a less expensive hotel . As we got such a good price with hotel direct .

"Adequate hotel for close proximity to Central London"
Not amazing views of rear of hotel and looks a little tired on the outside but rooms were adequate, small but ok for being out and about most of the day. Would recommend for shopping trips and sigh seeing 1-nighters. Staff were helpful and friendly.

"Great location, price and style but rubbish bed and pillows"
Amazing location directly opposite xxxxx xxxxx and Hyde park. Chose the hotel due to price and distance from winter wonderland and wasn`t disappointed. Nice pub with great food just around the corner too. Had the worst nights sleep due to rock solid bed and stupidly springy pillow. Be warned.

"Nice but noisy!"
Nice clean rooms but if you want a good night sleep this is not the hotel for you! Above a petrol station on a very busy road you may as we`ll be sleeping next to the m25.

We feel our room was bright but very small and cold despite increasing temp on thermostat . The fact one of the two lifts were broken meant several attempts to get to our room on the 9th floor. Staff very attentive. I`m not sure this hotel would be our first choice when visiting London again.

"Good overall"
There was nothing to complain about, hotel very clean stayed in room 914 nice view and very quiet too. The breakfast was good an fresh worth checking out. Location is perfect for anyone on business or leisure I will certainly use the hotel again.

"Good value"
Bearing in mind the location (in one of London`s more expensive areas) it was good value for money especially with the fact breakfast was included. Staff were very polite and helpful plus the on site car park is an immense plus. My only gripe would be that our room was possibly the smallest I`ve ever stayed in but having said that you don`t go to London to sit in a hotel room...

"Nice room, nice food, free wifi, clean and quiet."
Happily stay here again. Easy walk to both Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, and there`s a nice inexpensive gym 10 minutes walk away too. Breakfast was excellent. :)

Generally ok, rooms are small but ok for one, wouldn`t like to stay for a few days as a couple. The odd knock or scratch or carpet stain detract from an otherwise well maintained room. Bathroom refitted and reasonable.

"Good hotel on the Bayswater Road near all atractions"
Great location, tube within easy reach central line straight up to Oxford Circus (5 stops). The staff at the hotel were very good, the room a little small but had everything you needed, the shower room was excellent, overall excellent stay. Parking was very useful at the hotel as well £24.00 per 24hrs so very good.

we were alittle disappointed with our room very average best thing about hotel was the breakfast but had to ask for hot drink! lifts are a pain to get to rooms very small and concierge on ground floor! probably wouldn`t stay again.

"Satisfactory stay"
There was nothing exceptional about the hotel or the accommodation. The staff were professional at reception and the place provided a clean and satisfactory place to stay for a weekend break although not with the most spacious of bedrooms. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet and allowed us to open the window without having a broken night`s sleep due to noise. The breakfast buffet was an extreme crush, food in need of replenishing and staff not quite so happy in their work, particularly the lady cooking the eggs!

"very average. wouldnt stay again."
the rooms were small and very basic. the tv signal and picture were poor. the bottom sheet on the bed was too small so the matress protection was showing about a foot on the bottom of the bed so when lay down my feet were touching it. yuck.... I complained and asked for it to be changed on my way out at 8pm. when I returned at 1 am the bed had been re made with the same small sheet. I complained again amd had to sit and wait while a member of staff re made my bed in the eatly hours of the morning. not really what I wanted after a night out

Nice room 405.lifts to all floors very slow only 2 out of 3 working.Went out for a meal as staff left us waiting for 10mins.Next morning cleaner,gained access to room at 0830hrs,who was more shocked.

Stay enjoyable and hotel in good position. Slightly marred by children screaming and playing in corridor late at night (past midnight) but realise hotel cannot be responsible for other peoples bad behaviour.
