"Spotlessly clean, staff very helpful and approachable."

Spotlessly clean, staff very helpful and approachable. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and with plenty of choice. Bus stop right outside the door and Hyde Park across the road, perfectly positioned if you are going to the Royal Albert Hall during your stay. Notting Hill 10 minute walk away. Excellent choice.

Nice and comfortable hotel that is well located for sight seeing. Only down side was how small the standard rooms are and I was very disappointed not to have a bath. Power shower was lovely but after a long day sightseeing all you want is to have a nice long relaxing soak in the bath. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

"Very nice modern hotel in a good location."

Room is bright and clean. Location opposite Hyde Park, near a Tube station, and within walking distance of Paddington, is excellent. The simple to use free wifi is good; why can`t all hotels provide this? The staff were helpful and friendly. Just one small negative. There is no clock in the room, and I did not receive the wakeup call I requested.

"Perfect"

Another great stay. Some may find standard rooms small for more than just an overnight stay or for more than single occupancy. This is a modern recently refurbished hotel with good room facilities. The outside of the hotel does not do justice to the interior. The breakfast is very good and our meal in the restaurant on one night was above average for this class of hotel. Staff are very friendly and polite and particular mention goes to Dalma and Oriana who I believe I praised on a previous visit. That shows consistency for me. My only criticism is that having been asked to contact the hotel as a result of my previous feedback when I next made a booking I did not receive any acknowledgement to my email. A small point and one that didn`t spoil our stay.

Very efficient and friendly check-in and check-out. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom with excellent shower. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Evening meals in restaurant could be better - limited choice and too fussy - linguine was not very fresh tasting.

Great stay at this hotel from checking in and receiving a free upgrade to check out. Great view of Ken xxxxx from our 4th floor room. Staff were well trained, friendly and efficient - requests were acted on immediately. Great breakfast too. Would recommend,.

An ideal hotel for the xxxxx side of the city, clean and welcoming, breakfast is first class (buffet) and the rooms ar well suited for the "weekend break" couples, there are numerous places to eat within a 10-15min walk for the hotel entrance, would stay agsain without hesitsation

"Generally happy with the standard of accommodation and food."

Minor problem with level of noise at rear of hotel, probably coming from heating/cooling plant, which necessitated a move to a quieter room, but nevertheless, would give consideration to returning to the hotel in the future.

Clean, comfortable and quiet on the 5th floor. The staff were very friendly and a nice bar to relax in for a night cap. Very good breakfast and lovely shower! Thank you!

"5star treatment in 4star hotel"

From the moment Tina introduced herself at reception we could tell this was going to be a fabulous stay at the xxxxx hotel. What a amazing welcome Tina,s given information and dynamic service was second to none. On top of this we were absolutley thrilled to be upgraded to a fabulous executive room with wonderful views over the park. From the Maitre/d in the restaurant to all of the other great staff , this truly was an amazing stay thankyou for making it special

Nothing to do with the management but I was woken up at 3am (27th Feb) by a group of noisy and talkative people passing my door which prevented me sleeping afterwards. Why are people so selfish an oblivious to others? This is a continuous problem.

Rooms are v small and lifts are rubbish but staff are friendly. Beds comfy and enough water comes out of the shower to get you wet - just! Happily stay there again.

"The room was tiny."

As said above the room was amazingly small. I have never stayed in a smaller one. The staff were very friendly and did an excellent job. The breakfast menu and food was excellent. Would stay again but not in one of those rooms. I can see why they do deals on the small rooms, it must be the only way to fill them.

"Lovely Hotel"

Stayed just one night, found the location to be excellent and as we arrived after 1.30pm Saturday there was free parking in nearby streets. Check in good Room excellent with a great shower. Breakfast really good but unfortunately no one said there was an egg option ie Ommelette or poached There was no DECAF tea available which I have to drink for medical reasons,I cannot understand why theres a Waitrose outside the hotel for the sake of a couple of pounds this could easily be rectified. But other wise this was a really excellent hotel.

"Welcome and customer service was excellent"

In particular, Ingar on reception, and Paul in the restaurant were fantastic. Ingar was delightful, very helpful and most charming. Paul was very attentive, knowledgeable, and looked after us very well. We normally stay at the Royal Garden Hotel, but decided to give the xxxxx a try. We will be returning when we come to London for our next concert in June. The room was ready for 12 noon which was impressive, and everywhere was very clean, modern, warm with a lovely atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely stay.

"Great Choice"

The staff were absolutely superb from reception, to bar staff to restaurant staff. I have to give special mention to Oriana, Kasia and Dalma in the restaurant where we had evening meal on our last night. There was a slight problem because the food was a bit slow in coming. This is normally no problem for us but we had an evening show and the dessert took 25 minutes to arrive. It was delicious however (banana fritter) and the staff dealt with the delay perfectly. The meal was excellent. However, I must give an extra special mention to Villo in the bar/restaurant. My wife and I arrived Friday afternoon on a celebration weekend for my 65th birthday. My daughter had arrived as a surprise and Villo played her part in the surprise and throughout our stay was a delightful hostess. Her genuine interest in making our visit special was a delight. I should say that I am not easy to please but this visit was perfectly provided by the xxxxx Hotel.

"Couldn`t have been better."

Me and my wife came here for a little honeymoon. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was buffet and was in plenty. It`s close to the tube and loads of shops. Wish we could of stayed longer.

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and obliging. The bedroom was quite small for a double room but adequate if all you want is somewhere to put your head down for the night. Bed wasn`t particularly comfortable but for the price we paid and the location it is good value.

Like most London hotels the room was small and only able to view the TV whilst sitting on the bed as it didn`t rotate to be viewed from the chair. Comfortable bed, very clean, modern shower room. Only me in the room, it would have been interesting trying to manoeuvre around had there been 2 of us. A good , varied buffet breakfast

"Four star all the way"

From the moment we arrived at reception and given a 5star welcome and given a upgrade to a family room . We knew this was going to be a fantastic first visit to London. The room over looked Green Park , was very clean , modern and spacious . Every thing from tea making to dressing gowns and slippers were supplied not to mention the iron and board awaiting you in the wardrobe . Breakfast was amazing so much choice and even a chef to make you your fresh omelettes to start your day. Thank you for an absolutely fab stay we highly the recommend the xxxxx hotel and hope to stay again soon.

"Weekend Stay January 2014 "

12.5% Service Charge on all drinks from the Bar Small Bottle Water £3.50 (extortionate) We have stayed in many 4* hotels in London and have never paid a Service Charge on our drinks from the Bar, nor have we paid £3.50 for a bottle of water. This hotel was booked as a hidden gem. Very disappointed when arrived, the hotel from the outside looked like something from the 70`s and was above a petrol station. However rooms were nice, clean and modern, Hotel restaurant a little pricey but food was excellent. Have stayed in better hotels which cost a lot less.

"The high prices of London don`t afford you much space in the bedrooms . "

Overall the hotel was very good and the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast again had everything you would expect and for a `buffet style` it was one of the best I have experienced. Once again my only critism would be the tiny rooms; we did manage to upgrade on the second night to a family room which was much better.

"Great hotel, great staff and great location overlooking Hyde Park"

We had a fabulous overnight stay - rooms very comfortable, staff could not be more helpful, breakfast was delicious and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to an executive room on the top floor which had stunning views over Hyde Park.
