"Supremely clean! The freshest I have experienced over many years in many countries. Excellent frie"

One slightly down side was the room size and storage space. My wife and I struggled a little to fit our week-end attire into the single small wardrobe and space for just one suitcase.

Might sound strange but we found the room too warm! With that in mind we really needed to have bottles of water provided and extra tea bags.

Perfectly placed hotel, exceptionally clean, well mannered staff, comfortable bed, reasonable rates for accomodation and room service considering the hotels location.

"Friendly attentive staff"

Excellent hotel , staff friendly and genuinely pleased to assist. Breakfast good quality but staff need to ensure breakfast items are restocked regularly. Would return again excellent location for Central London sightseeing and shopping!

Great hotel will stay again next time, already planning our return but would probably book independently without the tickets. Staff lovely and helpful and junior suite fabulous very clean and huge comfortable bed.

"amazing service"

turned up greeted straight away no problems lovly staff.we wanted a taxi in the evening and it turned up when we wanted it to and it picked us up on time to perfect service.will be going bk again and would recommend to friends and family..thank you for are stay

"A lovely hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful ."

We were a party of ten we all had good rooms which were clean and very comfortable , we did ask to have high rooms because we were worried about noise we spoke to reception before our arrival and were given rooms on the sixth floor which was ideal. we had a meal in the restaurant which was very good , we would recommend this hotel to friends and family and we would also go back to this hotel if we were staying in london again.

"Clean and comfortable"

Nice clean and comfortable hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, although the fruit juice and water served would have been better chilled.

"Wonderful, central hotel with helpful staff"

We spent a couple of days in London, sightseeing, shopping and a trip to the theatre. This hotel was perfect and all the staff were so helpful. Lovely room, everything we needed, air conditioning very welcome as it was hot weather whilst we were there. I would highly recommend it:)

"Breakfast service was poor"

The service at breakfast was very poor. Took 20 minutes to get toast which was asked for and had to ask again. Also had to ask for coffee as the staff never asked if we wanted anything. For the size of the hotel I would have expected to see a much larger room for breakfast considering the number of rooms that are in the hotel.

"Lovely hotel perfect location"

Stayed for two nights with my husband, couldn`t fault it. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from. Would definitely go back!

"thistle hotel very good"

The staff at check in and departure were very efficient and friendly. The bar was a very good place to meet friends for drink. The room along with the bed was large in very good condition and clean. Well done Thistle.

"Localization ! Good hotel, small room, bad wireless Internet free , average expensive breakfast"

This hotel is very well located, close to Picadilly Circus Station and Regent Street. Many restaurants around. I don`t recommend to pay extra for the average breakfast. Everyday I had to beg for the croissants that were always missing and 2 of the 3 waitress were not courteous at all. The reception staff was always ready to help. The room was small but nice and clean and without noise thanks o the large glass window. After all I`d come back there.

"Fantastic central location."

Excellent location for Theatreland & shopping. Smart clean rooms (mirror at table area would be helpful). Efficient, friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast, food delicious & beautifully presented. After checkout storage of luggage extremely helpful. Definitely recommend/return......

"Very pleasant."

Had booked hotel for my parents to stay for there Golden wedding anniversary. They were moved,at no extra charge,to a suite,along with a complementary bottle of wine and flowers. Cant thank the hotel staff and management enough......Thankyou very much. We`ll be booking again.

"Power cut - no heating in room during very cold night - no hot water - cold breakfast"

Staff & management were very good in the circumstances as the power cut was not their fault. The break was for our thirtieth wedding anniversary so the event wasn`t the best of experiences particularly as we had to walk up to the sixth floor (Bit uncomfortable as I am recovering from a prolapsed disc). The Operations Manager has kindly been in touch with an offer to revisit with free upgrade. We probably wouldn`t have a problem returning to the Thistle but have no plans to do this in the near future. It would be very nice to think that at the very least, an offer could be made that we could perhaps use later in the year.

"Fit for Purpose . .!!"

We were in a London for a particular daytime function and had arranged a Theatre trip as well. This was a superbly located hotel for doing this and being in the heart of the entertainment sector obviously afforded plenty of eating out choices as well. The hotel was extremely comfortable with nicely appointed rooms . . and the breakfast is exceptional . .!! Reccomend it all.

Brilliant location and room, although the cleaners had left everything out of cupboards and seat cushions off and we had only 1 towel for the stay for 2 of us! The heating didn`t work but eventually did! Apart from that another good thistle stay

"`Fantastic - highly recommend`"

Hotel staff were friendly and polite and went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. We were able to book in an hour early and we also got a room upgrade as it was a surprise birthday trip for my wife - very impressed with that. The room was absolutely superb! Everything was very clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable and the shower was awesome. The hotel has obviously been renovated recently and the new fixtures and fittings really add to the fantastic service provided by the staff. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and we were certainly full when we had finished. Once again, the service was excellent. There was no problem storing our luggage after we checked out, as our return train was not until the evening. I would certainly rank our stay on a par with much more expensive hotels that we have stayed at in London and far superior to others of a similar price. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible!

THIS LONDON HOTEL IS IN AN EXCELLENT POSITION FOR THE WEST END AND ALL THE LONDON GOOD FOR THEATRES AND V ERY GOOD ACC, AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST.WATCH OUT IF THE BELLMAN OFFERS TO GET YOU A CAB, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!! I HAD A CAB TO VICTORIA STATION,DOUBLE THE PRICE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN.I OBJECTED.,TO NO AVAIL!!!!

"New Hotel always welcomed in an Old Town."

Staff genuinely try to make you return. Consistently warmth and helpful service attitude all round make up for what would otherwise be a hotel with limited facilities.

"Fantastic location"

No problems with our stay - location amazing, price very good compared to others nearby, room very comfortable. Just one thing - and this is in common with most hotels - why can`t you put a mirror over the desk/dressing table so that we can sit to do hair and make up? Come on guys, sort it out!!

"Good central newly refurbished hotal"

A very pleasant 3 night stay, the hotel was fresh modern and very clean. Although only a standard room it was very comfortable with all the amenities one would need. Staff were all friendly but not intrusive. We had breakfast in the hotel which was comprehensive and well cooked and served. Slight downside was outside noise, especially when in the bathroom and inside noise from TV/radio in neighbouring room, however this did not cause us any problems and was to be expected from such a good central position. Most attractions were within walking distance and if not buses and underground were close by.

"Modern, clean, very friendly and quiet."

Its a lovely hotel in the centre of the west end. You can see it from the M&M store or the casino on Leicester Square so its right in the heart of the action. The staff were mega friendly, the rooms were comfy and clean, the bathroom was nice and the shower was gorgeous. I really cant fault it. Especially as it was far cheaper than some other more basic options in the area.
