"Very good value."

The Hotel was clean and the staff could not be more helpful. It was in a good locality actually closer to Earls court than Gloucester Road tube station. No bar but very close to plenty of pubs and restaurants if that`s your thing. Probably not enough tables for breakfast time for the size of the hotel as people had to wait but food was fine. Would definitely use again.

What a lovely experience from the 20th to 24th November 2016. This has got to be one of the most under rated hotels in London, its location is less than 5 mins walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. We found the hotel very clean, food excellent and the Staff a real credit to the hotel, very polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to please guests, always a greet with a smile. Our room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing and very good value for money. there is no doubt that we will definitely make the Ambassadors Hotel, Kens our first choice when visiting London in future. Please continue to maintain this high standard. Regards, Allen and Saskia Pembroke from Durban, South Africa

"Lovely Hotel"

Hotel was lovely and staff friendly.Hotel was very clean,Breakfast was nice. I stayed in room B20 was a big room but very small bathroom . I have booked a twin room but for some reason the room had four single beds in it. Which made it hard to get into bathroom as one of the beds was right next to bathroom door. Think this room was below where they served breakfast as it was very noisy quite early morning.

"Good room, very helpful staff and great continental breakfast"

We were offered a fantastic basement room on a hotel direct offer. Excellent value. We wanted a window as I felt a little claustrophobic (we would have stayed in the room if there had been no alternative). The staff we were great and moved us to a room which was more basic. They were concerned that is wasn`t as good a room but it was perfect for us. There was planet of choice for the continental breakfast. We would certainly stay here again if the price was right for our budget.

"Very noisey basement room and uncomfortable"

Asked for a deluxe double room, ended up with two single beds pushed together. The room also had a fuse box that buzzed incredibly loudly all night, which kept me awake. TV didn`t work also !!

"Never experienced a hotel like this"

So called deluxe double was very poor. Reception area looks really nice, problems start when you get to your room. Plug in sink stayed closed so couldn`t run water away. Toilet wouldn`t flush, room was extremely small, toilet even smaller. You get woken very early with maids banging vacuum cleaners against doors. Toiletries that bad you wouldn`t even take them home.

"Wouldn`t recommend "

Ok to just lay a weary head. Teeny room. Teeny duvet on k.s. bed! Why? Bedside lights are l.e.d. so not for reading. Very noisy....but we were streets ide. On the plus side..staff very curteous. Room and linen spotless. Breakfast speedy and good. You get what you pay for I guess.

"The twin room was small."

The twin room was very small. The beds were pushed together and there was hardly any room to walk round the beds. It was clean and fresh.

"Basic 3 Star"

A basic 3* Hotel, in a good location. Twin Room small but functional, but bathroom had seen better days ...in considerable need of refurbishment. It must have been last done in the 60`s or 70`s. It was however clean in room and bathroom. Location saves it really. Just about 5 mins walk to High Street Kensington shops, with slightly further to the V&A, Natural History Musem etc. About 5 mins walk to Gloucester Road tube, so good for getting about London.

"First class in every way.."

For Central London this Hotel is exceptional. The reception staff on arrival made us very welcome, the room service was excellent, and the rooms, simple and adequate. Anyone who complains has not much experience of major l city hotels at a reasonable price!

"Location good."

The hotel had me locked out my room after one night and had to tell them i was staying for two nights. Booked a taxi the night before to find out in the morning it was`nt booked. Hairdryer was faulty and the shower ran hot and cold.

"Expect to see this hotel in the papers and not for the right reasons."

The hotel looks great from the street, that is the only positive to the place, my dog kennels are more appealing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are tiny, dirty, old thread bare carpets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, holes in the walls and doors where they seem to of been kicked/punched, paint long gone on all gloss surfaces, window was held together with selotape! the fire alarm went off at 2am and no one bothered to follow up and check if everyone was ok. No duvets on beds just old brown blankets which were cold and itchy, my children were horrified. I think it is safe to say we will never return. Save yourselves the horror and use the holiday inn around the corner.

"Only ok"

We recently stayed at the the ambassador hotel kens. It was booked fairly last minute so we booked without doing much research. We found the hotel in a very nice part of London, and were impressed with the lobby area and had high hopes for the room based on first impressions however when we went to our room (on the 6th floor) we were disappointed to find that it was incredibly small and very very hot. (It was in the roof) the bathroom was small and quite tired but it was fairly clean and reasonably priced. It was fine as a place to sleep after a hard days shopping, and I wouldn`t be devastated if I had to stay there again.

"A mouse in the room and the next day a man on my bed "

I was moved rooms on my first night due to a mouse running across the floor, on the second day I entered my room at 1.30pm to find a maintenance man (is what I assume he was) sitting on the bed watching the football on the tv.
