"Highly Recommended"
Booked for short London break with family - v. impressed. Rooms functional but decent size (and beat the typical "group" hotels). Immaculately clean - helpful staff - v.well located for regular trips into West End etc. Would definitely staff again when next visiting the capital.

"Great value for money"
We stayed for one night only in room 407 and are very pleased with our stay. The room is a decent size, certainly bigger than other London hotels we have stayed in and paid much more for. The room was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, and thanks to an oscillating fan we were kept comfortably cool as would have been a bit on the warm side otherwise. (Summer) The only thing I would have wished for was a hairdryer in the room, as although you can borrow them from reception, the many steps to climb put me off going down for one. Although, am confident one of the friendly staff would have brought one up on request, I just didn`t want to bother them. But yes, happy with the room, and would definitely stay here again. We didn`t have breakfast, so can`t comment on that.

Most things were good. The staff were very good. We are disappointed with the breakfast. It could have consisted of little more food such as ham, boiled eggs and some more breads variety. We would not call this continental breakfast, but we could eat so we were measured and and the food available tasted good .

"Good location and decoration but very basic"
We had a very small room with minimal storage facilities - only one tiny drawer and a rail that everything fell off of. The bathroom was tiny with a very tiny basin at knee height! Good shower as long as you wanted one scalding hot!! No hairdryer. Basic breakfast, coffee machine would be good rather than sachet of nescafe and no fruit salad.

"Good Hotel for short stay."
Nice clean quiet hotel , helpful staff. Room very clean and beds reasonably comfortable. Bathroom had lots of toiletries including body moisturiser, but shower very poor, no power at all. Breakfast was nice, all the usual but you could take as much as you wanted. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

"Some problems need addressing"
Stayed for 2 nights. About 20 mins walk from Paddington Station, reasonably safe area and quiet. Nearest tube stations 10 mins walk, Queensway with ethnic mixture of shops/cafes/restaurants fairly close. Hotel is two 5 storey buildings knocked into one. No lift, so you need to be fit to stay in the upper floors - the stairways are steep and narrow. Cleanliness OK, bathrooms very small, virtually no water pressure to shower on my 4th Floor room, distinct lack of security - possible to walk to the room entrances from the street unchallenged, breakfast looked poor value. Relatively cheap by London standards but wouldn`t recommend.

"A little gem in Bayswater."
The boutique hotel is recently refurbished to a high standard, it is warm, peaceful, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

"Wonderful Experience"
The hotel itself, staff, location, everything was fabulous. Would definitely stay here on my next visit and would recommend to anyone. Didn`t opt-in for breakfast but I`m sure it too would have been lovely. Great deal through hoteldirect.co.uk also.

Quiet location, hotel staff seemed a bit shocked to have guests!! Room was very large but bathroom small but functional. No where to have a drink past 11pm!! Lovely area and would consider it a bargain for what we paid. Would I stay again...probably.

The Hotel was a great choice for our short stay in London. The staff were most friendly and very helpful. It is conveniently located and very quiet at night. It was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again.

"Nice hotel fairly close to Hyde Park and Paddington Station"
The first night of my stay was in a twin room - nice room down in the lower floor, decent decor and a very nice en suite shower room. I was due to stay in a single room for the 2nd night but the receptionist upgraded me to a double room on the top floor. Again, it was a nice room. The only minus was due to it being on the top floor, the shower water pressure wasn`t too good! Also, the stairs were quite narrow and I`m not sure if there was a lift. However, I couldn`t fault the staff - they were all very pleasant and willing to help with any requests. I`d definitely stay there again.

Hotel and staff were generally excellent... Clean rooms, helpful staff. One small issue is the room I was staying in had a thin stud wall between me and the next room so that I could hear everything... Snoring, talking (even soft talking ) which didn`t help with sleep.

"Reasonable location but a bit noisy. Main problem in en suite"
En suite too small. Sink impractical and too small to use. Shower dangerous as thermostat broken and could have resulted in severe scorching. Noisy from rooms above and adjoining. Would not stay here again

"Clean, modern hotel"
Hotel sems pretty new as everything was in good condition and nice and clean. Very nice bathroom. I had a single room and bed was nice and firm. Only really used it to crash at night so can`t comment on the facilities or breakfast, but it was a very pleasant room and hotel and for less than the cost of single room in a London YHA Hostel which wouldn`t even have ensuite. Bargain. (Tea bags were crap though, but unless you`re English you probably won`t care!)

Took a chance and booked this hotel, and wasn`t disappointed , a great location ,five minutes from the tube, lots of good restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean quiet and well appointed, continental breakfast was ok , the staff were polite efficient and friendly. The area the hotel is in is very good situation. We will use it again on future trips to London .

Spent two nights at hotel, ( Sunday + Monday nights) very quiet building in a quiet side road, within easy walk of Hyde Park and Paddington railway statiion. Warm, clean bedroom and en suite, very helpful staff, will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel in a good location and very convenient for Paddington Station. Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. Room was on the 4th floor so it was a bit of a climb with luggage as there was no lift but would certainly use this hotel again.

"Quiet, clean and central"
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and very helpful on arrival. Very quiet surroundings and central to two tube lines. We were in a basement room which meant it was very warm but this didnt pose a huge problem (summer time might have been different). The fact that this hotel was very clean and very central ensured that we had very good value for our money.

"Only stayed for two nights"
Nice area, if sightseeing like me and my girlfriend brilliant location as not far to get to the heart of london. Clean, comfy as we only stayed for two nights, it was okay. Staff not very helpful as i asked if there was any nice restaurants in the area, but got a simple reply try the high street. Tour bus stop round the corner as we used big bus tours was brilliant.
