"Generally good but little things could have been done better"
The hotel`s main attraction is its central but quiet location between Buckingham Palace and Westminster. It is comfortable but the weekend we stayed it was busy and so there was lots of waiting at reception and for breakfast. Our bath plug didn`t work so the shower water filled the bath, until we did some DIY and sorted it ourselves, and the TV instructions in the room, especially the channel listings, were a work of fiction. But the food was good, breakfast especially, and the staff helpful.

"Public rooms quite stylish and civilised, bedrooms distinctly less so and in need of refurbishment"
OK downstairs, but couldn`t recommend the bedrooms. Room was cramped, with a small bed inadequate for 2 people. Window single-glazed and ill-fitting - icy draught and street noise poured in. Only 1 electrical socket, inconveniently positioned. Hot water in the mornings little more than tepid.

"St James Court"
Delighted with this hotel. Classy,with excellent service and in a fantastic location with Buck house at the end of the road. It helps if you can find your way around London a bit as most things were in 30 mins walking distance. Would definitely book again.

Couldn`t fault the hotel at all, best I`ve stayed in, prime location right near Buckingham palace and Westminster abbey. Room lovely, bed very comfy and cosy, standard excellent, all facilities top notch, full English breakfast wonderful with plenty of staff on hand ready for any request. Overall 10/10

"Wonderful rooms and excellent restaurants"
I enjoyed my stay very much. The rooms were comfortable and bigger than expected for London. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was most impressed by the wonderful meals I had at Bistro 51 and the restaurant that overlooked the courtyard. I would certainly return there on a future trip.

The room was adequate but bathroom very small. We had a bigger room last time. room lovely and clean with all that we needed. The staff were very kind and helpful. Only down side was that we struggled to sleep with the train noise every few minuets. I will stay again but would ask to have a room on the other side of the hotel. Thank you !!

"Poor facilities and overpriced"
Stayed one night in June 2014. Room was small; poorly furnished [one bedside table in a double room; and décor was tired and worn. It overlooked a building site. Very poor value.

beautiful hotel, staff really friendly. Bedroom gorgeous bed comfortable very very clean just one comment, the breakfast could be hotter as it wasn`t very warm at all apart from that would definitely stay again.
