"fantastic"
The room was clean and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was very clean and well equipped. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. We would book again and recommend to our friends and family.

"could do with some work"
Though the reception staff were helpful our rooms were not ready on arrival an the cleaning staff were not very helpful with this even when we said we needed to be ready to leave by 4pm also some of the mattresses could do with replacing as some had a massive dip in the middle... Other problem came when some of the group came back after 1am an had to wait to get back in as there was no one on reception

The room was nice ,modern bathroom and it was warm which is always good our room was next to the main road which was very noisy. The traffic didn`t stop til about 1am. There was also humming noise which didnt til stop around 1.30am i think the noise could be the heating or boiler. When we went down to breakfast staff were welcoming and attentive. However I felt the breakfast lacked variety and could have more choices ie more items for hot breakfast.

The hotel was situated some distance from the theatre and we could only really reach the destination by tube or bus, not by walking. It is more ideally placed for visiting Hyde Park. The hotel rooms were basic and clean. My room had a drain or damp smell permanently in the bathroom, luckily as there were 2 doors between the bathroom and bedroom, I couldn`t smell this in bed. The other guest in the party had a room at the front of the hotel, where works were underway on the pavement outside, not really the hotel`s fault but didn`t make for a restful break and no chance of a lie in after what was a late night. Breakfast was good. The member of staff on at night was helpful, I had to ask for some ordinary teabags and milk as my room seemed not to have been restocked, and when he couldn`t find any, he bought a tray to my room with a jug of milk and loose tea bags which was most appreciated.

"Cheap and central location"
The rooms are small with hardly enough room to get around the bed but the location is excellent, the bed very comfortable, the shower very powerful and the staff helpful and friendly. Can`t beat it for the price.

"Excellent Value for money"
Booked as a theater package, hotel is compact, we stayed in room that had two double beds and single bed that had just been refurbished, very clean and although compact had everything we needed. Perfect location for exploring London, 5 min walk to Hyde Park and underground tube station. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment but we didn`t notice or experience any disruptions as out all day exploring. Would recommend and stay here again.

"Friendly staff"
The hotel was fab for the price we paid. The room was really warm as the heating seemed to be on 24hrs a day but that was quickly solved by an open window. Breakfast was fab and everyone who worked there was really helpful a d friendly

"lovely hotel"
lovely hotel ,in a great central location the staff were friendly and extremely helpful . Breakfast was fresh and offered a great choice, beds were comfy and i had a great nights sleep , the road outside was slightly noisy but i guess that`s london for you but it didn`t effect my sleep. The hotel held our bags before check in/out which enabled us to travel freely.Yes there are some very minor niggles in our room we were missing hotel info /wifi code /menu etc but i think that`s a very small point . The hotel is a 3 star and in my opinion a good 3 star i would without a doubt stay here again we had a great time.

"The price does reflect what you can expect."
The hotel is clean but basic. Our room was on the small size but acceptable. Equipped with personal safe, TV and fridge; (Empty for your use; Very Good). Because there was no double glazing the room was very noisy though out the night from the passing traffic. The room would benefit from some extra shelves and coat hooks. 2nd night moved room which was one floor up and back facing. This room was smaller but had the benefit of air conditioning. Again could have more shelves and hooks provided. Had we had the second room from the beginning would have accepted the small rooms because of the cost. Breakfast was basic but adequate. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Had a lovely welcome from staff .,hotel room was nice and clean. It was quite warm in room ., But there was a fan all ready in the room to use, There was tea and coffee suppled to make a drink which is a lovely touch. My room was cleaned both days, towels changed and bathroom toileries topped up. Breakfast was enjoyable cereals ,fruit, yogurts, cheese., pate, bread ,rolls. Staff brought pot of tea or coffee to your table and toast.There was sausages and boiled or scrambled egg.. But no bacon or beans which did not bother me but some people do expect a full cooked english breakfast.Only one problem I had was my room was on the side of a busy road and windows not double glazed so at night i got woke a few times.Would go back here but would ask for a room away fromain road.

"Friendly, better than average for London"
Booked this for a group of us. Some rooms were really small, couldn`t walk round the bed but others bigger and more modern. All were clean. The staff were friendly at all times. Breakfast ok.

"Nice decor but lacks features / limited breakfast"
The hotel was pleasant enough and in a great location but close to other hotels with a similar cost, where extended facilities would exist. The only negative aspects I would say were... 1. A lack of Air Conditioning, which was a real problem, even though it was 22 outside, not 32. There was a fan but it barely bought the temperature down. I found the fridge was as hot inside as out, so powered it off in an attempted to reduce the ambient temperature. 2. Breakfast buffet was extremely limited and offering only Halal sausages (which I don`t find acceptable) as the only accompaniment to scrambled eggs does not make much of a buffet. There were continental options available but I don`t recall seeing Halal only and continental breakfast on the booking. The hotel was clean and staff pleasant.

We could not fault the staff and also the breakfast,thhe staff were really helpful and the food was good pretty good value for money. However the room was very very small for 2 to share,and extremely noisy from traffic noise ,which was all the more problematic as the hotel was so HOT !!!! you really had to open the window!!!!This could be a really good hotel with double glazing and a little less heat

Very good value for the price. The rooms were clean and warm although small. Lots of choices at breakfast. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely come again.

"Sewer gas odors."
The sewer gas was terrible in this hotel. We were on the top floor and our room smelled terrible. We finally stuffed a towel in the shower drain and it helped. The room was clean and beds were comfortable but it was tiny. Especially at $200 a night. I`ll stick with a name brand hotel next time.

staff were friendly enough. breakfast was nice. however...kettle never worked, we were promised it would be fixed but never was. light blew in the bathroom, and shower needed a really good scrub! great position though so if all u want is somewhere to sleep than its fine.

Wonderful service one of our party was confined to a wheelchair at last minute so when we arrived the management sorted out a ground floor room and always came to the door to help us they have been brilliant
