Lovely surroundings >Very good food>Efficient and yet very friendly staff >Our one complaint was the awful noise level in the bar ! In contrast the serenity in the dining was a joy.We will avoid the bar our next visit !

"Pure luxury!!"

Have just returned from a romantic weekend break at the Langham. The hotel is awesome ..... from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave you recieve first class service. The room was beautiful, the staff were amazing (nothing was too much trouble .... would particularly like to thank the lady who stopped what she was doing to take me 5 floors down to personally show me where the pool was). Food was spectacular. Drinks were very overpriced, my husband is still reeling from the single measures of vodka and gin that cost him £27!!!!! Avoid the mini bar at all costs (£3 for a chunky kitkat!!). Hotel is in an amazing location just a short walk away from Oxford Street. Would definitely recommend this hotel and am planning my next stay there. Worst thing about our trip was having to leave.

Had a great stay at the Langham, staff were very helpful and the room was amazing. We stayed on New Year`s Eve so the location couldn`t have been better. Will definitely stay again, maybe after the refurb is finished.

WILL USE LANGHAM AGAIN, I ALWAYS GO 4 STAR OR ABOVE, STAFF INCREDIBLE. LOCATION IDEAL. BED AND BEDDING SUPERB. RESTAURANT AND NICE TO BE SERVED BREAKFAST FOR A CHANGE. ROOM SERVICE SUPERB. CLEAN. "Very enjoyable."

We had booked tickets for the Sound of Music at the Paladium and the Langham was perfectly placed in the West End just a short 5 minute walk from the theatre. Although the hotel entrance is currently being renovated the hotel was superb. The staff were excellent and it is a beautiful building. We will definately go again.

"EXELLENT HOTEL AND SERVICE"

FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED UNTILL THE MOMENT WE LEFT THE HOTEL AND STAFF COULD NOT BE MORE HELPFUL AND EFFICIENT. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS THE NOISE FROM RENOVATION WORK BUT THIS DID NOT DISTRACT FROM OUR STAY.

Really enjoyed our stay staff were great and although we had a room overlooking an internal court yard, was really quiet. \would stay again. Breakfast was bliss.....

"The hotel is lovely and very well situated. Had a wonderful night there!!"

my only gripe was the breakfast, which we had bought to our room, the tomatoe was horrid!! thats it!!!! the room was lovely, clean and welcoming. the bathroom (which is always a sign of how the hotel is) was excellent. I will recommend this hotel to all that want to listen!!

"Overall very good, but problems with finding rooms due to re-decorating. "

Once we found our romm(had to be taken there due to no sign-posting when redecorating) all was well. Initial check in problems, although it was late at night. Incorrect details, given double and had to be moved to twin which is what we booked. Room size and cleanliness excellent as was the breakfast. Brilliant location

The first room we were given was a disgrace - ripped curtains, dent in the bathroom door, broken hairdryer, no drawer storage space whatsoever, dirty mark on the wall.l After we complained we were moved to a lovely room. Waitress service at breakfast was abysmal - both days we had to ask several times for teaspoons and one day I ordered grapefruit juice and was served apple juice ...Having said that, the desk staff (and especially the concierge) were delightful, the beds are excellent and the hotel is superbly located and surprisingly (thankfully!) very quiet.

Hotel, ambience and leisure club all fantastic, along with location, I always find it a shame at these high end hotels that the staff feel so self important, there really is no need for this and certainly no justification.

"Excellent one night stay"

Very friendly and helpful staff (particularly on the door). Very clean and comfortable room (Twin). Was initially disapointed that continental breakfast only was included in the price but this proved to be delicious and quite adequate.Served in a lovely dining room, tables beautifully presented, staff attentive, service quick. Will book again.

The Langham is a very fine hotel in a great location for all the West Ends best amenities. The staff are particularly helpful and very friendly. However all the luxury and attentiveness comes at a cost which is not insignificant.

"We had a nice stay"

Fantastic location, Great service, Hotel looks great from the outside, Bar area very nice. They were the good points. It was a nice touch to recieve champagne,chocs & stawberrys upon arrival. Bad points are rooms are very dated we do not mind paying high prices but expect high standerds in return this was not the case with the room or the food. We also looked forward to the spa as part of our experience but it was closed and we were not pre warned. This was the second time in a month I have booked The Langham but taking into account the price(i upgraded to a junior suite) I think next time we will try the Ritz.

"Shame only one night stay!"

Stayed for one night here on special deal and was upgraded to exec room - very large and comfortable. Lovely bathroom with very large towels and great bathrobes. Bed huge and extremely comfy. Gripes - mi i bar is sensor operated so you can`t move anything. Downstairs bar lovely but very expensive.

"Better than The Westbury!"

Excellently appointed 5 star hotel. Excellent customer service, excellent food, excellent room (our standard room was far better than the so-called `superior rooms` that 3 and 4 star hotels offer). Having stayed on a similar basis at the nearby Westbury recently, The Langham is better in all departments (including price). The only negative was that the knowledge of cocktails was limited to those on the cocktail menu, and none of the bar staff knew how to make a Planter`s Punch. Other than that - 10/10.

"Good qualiy hotel but not quite 5*"

While the hoel per say was good, it was let down in several areas of service & understanding of prices, e.g. at breakfast, I had to ask for toast twice and eventually it arrved cold. As for pricing there is mention everywhere about a discreationary addition to the bill but when I asked for it to be removed, such that I retained the choice to reward service/qulaity, I was told it wasn`t possible, so sort of mandatory discreationery, which didn`t seem quite right.
