"Very small room.only1 chair provided. towels not replaced."

Really disappointed in the room - small and only one chair - paintwork could do with freshening. Once luggage rack was put up there was little room to move about , if one person using dressing table the other could not access the drawers etc. Very good location and decent breakfast.

Nice looking hotel, breakfast was awful and no one told me it would cost me £40 to park my car in the underground car park of the hotel never again

"Ideally positioned for thheatreland"

For where the hotel is situated it is great value for money .The cooked breakfast was nearly worth the money in itself ,All members of staff were helpful and pleasant .Twenty four hour food and drink a boon .

"Staying at St Giles Hotel London"

Once again a pleasent stay at the St Giles Hotel in London and without any problems. Easy check in/ out, reasonable room size, good location of hotel and a hot breakfast each morning. Have stayed in this hotel for the last 4 or 5 visits to London and haven`t had any problems, the only think I would say is it`s noisy at night as you have to open your room window - too hot in the rooms and no HVAC.

"tired rooms, unclean"

the towels in our room were dirty but had been folded back on to racks, took 6 hours to get clean ones to our room, the carpet need ripping up as im sure there were things living in it, we kept our shoes on, had bites on legs, bedding did not feel clean, wish we had syayed somewhere else

Please try and sort out the buffet breakfast queues. It was chaos , and at a supposedly quieter time. Move the drinks out of the food queue for a start that would. Sorry to moan but it spoiled a pleasant stay. Thank you

"St.Giles more suited for low budget tours."

Hotel room wasn`t ready so we were sent away for 45 mins., after 1 1/2 hours it STILL wasn`t ready and was asked to go away for another hour. After raising a complaint to manager, we were moved to a "King size room" - not sure what was kingsize - certainly not the bed. Hotel is connected to casino so there were noisy people going up/down halls most of the night. No free internet.

"Great location "

Lovely central location & good sound proofing from busy Tottenham Court Road. Couple of niggles though with the chamber mais bursting in at 8.30am when we were still in bed & some of the mugs in restaurant dirty. Thus is the second time we have stated £ had the same problem previously. Other than that, a bit pricey but would stay again.

"Good Plus . See below."

Hotel St Giles .Very Good . Clean , friendly and comfortable. The trip was for a 70th Birthday. The staff welcomed Mrs Roberts with by singing "happy birthday to you...". Can we say any more. Very enjoyable stay . Breakfast was very good standard food wise but due to the size of the hotel VERY busy and "communal". This is of small consequence to the overall experience. After all we were well fed for the day which was the important element. A very good and WELL PLACED hotel which totally served the purpose ! Room clean ,small but quite adequate .When in London the time in the room is little anyway. We recommend it .A good choice of hotel which we would repeat. Again thanks to H.D. for the assurance e mail regarding the booking just before departure. This was APPRECIATED .

"Great hotel, great staff, great location!!!"

Would highly rate this hotel, even though check in isn`t till 2pm we arrived at hotel at 11am hoping we could at least leave our bags, the lovely receptionist was only too happy to check us in early seeing as our room was ready. The room was great, very comfortable with a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and s lovely shower. The location is perfect, would highly rate this hotel.

"hotel stay and breakfast"

Hotel was lovely staff were lovely the downside was queuing for breakfast next morning and there being no seats or trays, in fact we spoke to a couple who went to Wetherspoons for their breakfast due to the queue. We came out of restaurant and waited a good 20 mins before quickly trying to find a table a bagging it. Staff should monitor the seating so as this doesn`t happen. wasn`t pleased with this.

"Fire alarm procedure"

We have stayed here before and found it to be a very good hotel which we did also this time. The only problem was when the fire alarm went off about midnight. We were on the 10th floor and proceeded to evacuate via the back stairs. When we got to the 8th floor we ground to a halt due to all the people on the stairwell also trying to get out. People were stopping in reception so this hindered people still coming down the stairs. Fortunately, this was a false alarm. If it had been a real fire I do not think we would have made it.

"Too noisy"

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was lovely but the room was very small and noisy due to being on a busy main road but the location was excellent for the theatre.

"1st class service, compliments to all staff"

From the time of booking in till when we booked out, all staff had smiles in their faces and were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable beds.

"St. Giles Hotel"

Okay for just two nights B & B. Would not choose to stay any longer. Very busy hotel and long queues at breakfast time. Generally looking a bit tired.

"Nice place, shame about the face"

Beyond the horrible grey facade, lies a very nice hotel. A few minor gripes such as painfully long waiting times for lifts and sleep interrupted by building work outside (I`m all for London being a 24 hour city but surely they shouldn`t be working through the night)?

Hotel staff are pleasant. Only disappointment was the fact that when we went for breakfast, there was no where to sit so ended up leaving and paying somewhere else. No one to guide you about seating either.

"Fantastic location, Bog standard accommodation"

My daughter and I spent 3 nights in St Giles hotel. Breakfast was a bit like a school dinner hall but food was good. Bed was clean bathroom was semi clean, fresh towels every day. We could not have asked for a better location and we felt safe and secure. I would go back here now that I know what to expect, it is not luxury but it is a really good base.

"a great base for a theatre break!"

this hotel is comfy, the staff are delightful and is based so centrally to Theatre land, we never had to walk more than about ten minutes to all of the theatres we visited. We would visit again, and recommend it to anyone

"Excellent situation"

Very central and literally 2 minutes away from Tottenham Court tube station. Staff are friendly and helpful and all the rooms I`ve stayed in are clean. I stay in a twin room so there is plenty of space for one but two people may find the rooms small especially if you are staying for more than one or two days. But there is plenty of drawer and cupboard space. They have stopped doing hair shampoo and conditioner since my last stay so remember to take your own. I cannot stress enough the centrality of this hotel, it makes getting around London very easy.

"Good for a one night stopover"

The St Giles Hotel is a great hotel for either a one night stop over although the room was very small to longer stays (judging by previous experience). The price is good, the rooms are clean and equipped with the basic one expects. Buffet brekfast was very good even if a bit crowded.
