Such curtious pleasant staff, so helpful, room small but pleasant, breakfast was lovely, wasn`t rushed to vacate room and you can leave your luggage there free of charge whilst you sightsee/shop and collect later in day when you are ready to return home, central to everything we wanted, would definitely stay here again as such good value for money

"Rooms awful"

The rooms were very small with odd set out of furniture particularly mirror. Bed was so hard and pillow also - might as well have slept on floor. Not somewhere to go again.

"Perfect Location"

Booked a Theatre and Hotel Break and spent the night at St Giles Hotel, Perfect Location, lovely staff, Room small but had everything you could need and was very cosy and breakfast this morning was brilliant. Plenty of choice, piping hot and buffet style so you could have as much as you wanted.

"a bit of a let down"

we have stopped at the st giles a lot of times and this time we found our room a bit of a let down .. first there was a droning noise that used to come on about 2am and not go off till bout 5-30am..we told the reception but nothing was resolved so i got ear plugs.. the shower head was broke and had to be fixed on day 2.. we got back to our room on day 3 at around 4pm only to find the room had not been cleaned or bed made.. which was a disappointment ..we hope it gets better next year because we really like the st giles

Staff very helpful, courteous and approachable. Room clean and had lots of little extras ie fan (which was a godsend!) hairdryer, soft toilet tissue!! Facilities excellent. To have a large swimming pool accessible is amazing and what a treat to be able to visit a Casino!! Breakfast very enjoyable. Good variety of food and of excellent quality ie scrambled eggs really fluffy and yellow, coffee nice and strong, toast freshly made, service was next to none. Well done!! Also a cash machine inside the entrance to the hotel instead of having to out and search for one.

"Great stay."

Mum & I enjoyed our weekend stay at St. Giles Hotel was very comfortable & clean. The staff were very friendly & polite & helpful. Even though we had a bit of drama late on the Sat night with the hotel being evacuated due to the fire alarm going off it was a fantastic weekend. A big thank you to you all.

The staff were excellent, without exception. Breakfast was lovely, and the bar downstairs was inviting and we were not charged exorbitant prices for drinks or food. The room, however, was adequate but the noise from the upstairs room was extremely loud - I think there was some sort of refurbishment going on!.

"Great location but very poor rooms"

We were allocated room 762 which was a triple room, a pull down bed in 1 room a double in the other. The room with the double in was so small that there was no room to get in the bed on one side, the bathroom was very tiny, a joke really. We complained and were moved to 862, which was almost identical, maybe the bedroom was 6" wider, bathroom the same, ridiculously small. There was only room for 1 bath and 1 hand towel, had to get washed with the door open, too tight to move with it closed.

"Dirty towels!"

The hotel is in a perfect position for a London visit, very close to the tube and easy to find. Our room was small but good value for money. The breakfast was good, they catered for me, gluten free and my friend who is a vegetarian. We were woken fairly early in the morning by the cleaning staff putting their trolley in position ready to clean and when I had my shower I found my towel had a dirty stain on it. So check your towels before you get in the shower.

"Not what we are use to."

We have stayed here before when going to the theatre, we`ve always had a pleasant stay maybe abit of noise but nothing that you don`t get in other hotels. On this visit however we were disappointed to see a mouse in the room, although it ran out from the room onto the corridor it wasn`t nice and we didn`t sleep hardly; that is the first time we have experienced this and it wasn`t pleasant. They did say it was because of the underground like many hotels, they did offer to move us however it was late, we were ready for bed and we were checking out the next day; I doubt we would have slept even in another room.

Generally lovely hotel. Not happy not being able you leave my bags in a locked room as told over phone. Miscommunication by hotel as open room told on arrival. Had to carry bags all day.

The hotel was excellent, the only fault was as a wheelchair user the lift doesn`t take you to ground Level, but we did manage! And it`s easy access to most of the theatres would recommend The st Giles to friends etc

"Perfect location"

Had everything we needed, no hassle checking in, room simple but great, breakfast brilliant(although we did have a bit of a wait to go in), location great for covet garden, winter wonderland, harrods etc. The furthest we went on tube was 4 stops. A fantastic stay

"A budget price for a budget hotel."

A warm polite welcome,sadly the room was very small with a low budget coffee tray,liquid soap in the very small shower and low budget towels,I will look for a slightly better grade hotel next time.

great location for seeing london , craig`s concierge team are excellent, the food is very good and served with a smile, the drinks are expensive. only bad mark is the maids banging on your door to get in to clean your room at 9am before you have checked out.

Some staff were lovely one or two abrupt & need re-training. Hotel ok for short stay in the room we had, whether there were larger rooms we do not know.

Superb location, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. However, shower did not work in bathroom which was a disappointment and could have been a problem if staying any longer. Reported the problem to staff on departure.
