"Great location,clean rooms,good breakfast"

Good sized rooms, bit disappointed that we requested three single beds in each and had a double and single-not ideal for 3 ladies but we managed! It was very hot weather so one room really hot - fans in them would be appreciated. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient.

Had a very comfortable room. I would like to stay again later in the summer but on enquiry found that they do not provide air conditioning. This will not suit my American guest if the weather is hot then.

Booked for 2 nights, upon arrival everything was fine, bath is disgusting it`s needs to be replaced! Throughout the night, constantly itched in the bed, couldn`t wait to get home. Can hear every little noise. Wouldn`t stay here again

"Very convenient hotel"

I had booked a quadruple room and was delighted to find we had 2 rooms in an apartment style area. A twin and a double. All very comfortable, nice big towels, good shower...everything we needed to make our stay complete. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, if you are a decaf drinker like me bring a sachet from your room as they do not have any in the breakfast room and I was told I should have brought it with me!!!

Our three single bedded room was very nice and very clean and cosy. Our only negative points were that we did not find the beds too comfy and the pillows are rather hard. Also at breakfast if it`s busy there is not a lot of room to move around the tables. Apart from this we thought the hotel was very accommodating and staff nice and friendly.

Plug sockets need to be in better places, had to put the kettle on the floor to boil it! Be aware, the tube line runs right underneath but still overall quite nice.

"Far better than expected and we thought it would be good"

Lovely comfortable room with everything we wanted. Staff were also lovely and so helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice and had everything that we wanted - those wanting an "all day" English fryup that leaves you with "all day" indigestion might be disappointed but we had meuseli, fruit juice, fruit salad, yogurt, croissants, pain o chocolat, six kinds of bread and bread-rolls, ham, cheese, eggs, toast,butter, jam and teas and coffees aplenty. For me the wonderful staircase in brass and wrought iron epitomised this hotel which will definitely use again. I had the three best nights sleep in the past 12 months at The Astor Court which is situated very conveniently for the tube and has Oxford Street within easy walking distance. Thank you Astor Court - see you again very soon.

"Perfect "

We had an apartment with two bedrooms it was beautiful clean and had everything we needed, staff where so helpful and really polite, the location is perfect only a 5 min walk to Oxford Circus and the underground, continental breakfast also was great loads on offer will definitely stay here again

The hotel was in a good location, where it was easy to walk to the theatre. I liked the old worldly charm that the rooms have. Very comfortable, very clean and made a change from the basic minimalistic sameness of some modern hotels. Staff were very polite and helpful and price was good value.

I have mobility problems....which I included in my booking information and with elderly and disabled people being encouraged to get out and about this hotel should make it known that there is NO lift to the breakfast room. Also there should be an option to have a walk in shower. Throughout my stay I was unable to access the bath and there were NO safety grab rails above the bath. Apart from this the hotel was clean, comfortable, well located and with friendly helpful staff. ...and I enjoyed it.

"Friendly and welcoming."

Super hotel. Room was good, bed comfortable, excellent lighting in the room. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Hotel is less than two minutes from BBC if you are attending a show recording. Were able to leave our cases after checking out. Really good value for money.

perfect place to stay if you are going to see a show 25min walking distance. it takes approx 10-15 min to walk from oxford circus which was excellent. the hotel was clean and spacious rooms had everything we needed for the stay.continental breakfast was well worth the money and I would recommend this to others

Good size rooms - very hot but couldn`t have the windows open because of the noise from the road. Floors very squeaky. Toilet separate from bathroom which was a bit odd. Comfortable beds - very clean linen and towels changed daily. Great shower with good hot water. Good breakfast - constantly replenished in a clean breakfast room. Hotel in a good position for sightseeing. Staff friendly and helpful. Apart from street noise a very pleasant stay.

"Faded Charm"

Needs Air Con and a face lift. breakfast soggy hard boiled eggs and soggy croissants. Noisy at night. Stuffy too. Bathroom worn out

"Top notch Astor court hotel"

Very warm and freindly greeting. Room very spacious ,very clean although a little dated . Breakfast was superb ,been in hotels before which included breakfast but the choice here was second to none ,fabulous . Everything was kept well topped up,tables cleaned and reset as soon as they were vacated .. Definitely will stay here again .very good value for money Thankyou Astor court for the best stay in London I have ever had .

Great area, close to everything and good service. However the room was very hot. We did have the window open and the radiator was on the lowest setting.

A very comfortable and clean hotel in a lovely part of central London. A little dated but kept spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Really nice room with en suite, a little dated abut comfortable and clean, The experience was let down by the breakfast which was terrible. the fruit salad was still partially frozen the croissant dry and little space at the tables.

"Fantastic"

The hotel gave us directions from the nearest tube so was easy to find, when we arrived we had a warm welcome and were booked in quickly, we were upgraded to an apartment which meant we had plenty of room and with original features was lovely, the road it was on was busy and so we were supplied with ear plugs in the room although there wasn`t any need to use them, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm, there is a pub just a few steps away that also serves food, there are shops nearby too, it was also within walking distance to lots of attractions and shopping, the staff were very friendly and helpful too, all in all great hotel, great location, great stay, would definitely stay there again.
