"Budget Hotel "

We stayed for two nights inside twin room . If you book here for luxury then youll be disapointed.The room was clean , air con not brilliant so with no window very stuffy in the room. Equipped with hairdryer. No Kettle in room had to go to reception to get a coffee at a charge . Staff friendly and helpful . Plus side theres a pub next door for good breakfast and a costa coffee oppsite hotel. You get what you pay for . Overal we was not at the hotel long only to sleep and shower etc. I would stay again .

"Recent visit to London."

Hotel was very clean. Room adequate although small. (With window). Central with easy access for trains and buses. Only complaint was breakfast which consisted of a dry croissant, pain chocolate an apple and a yoghurt. I asked for butter , jam or if meat , cheese was available got told no only what was in bag! Not a continental breakfast like I have had anywhere else.

Fantastic staff service and cleanliness would give it 3 stars no kettle in room.

"No breakfast even though we booked"

Reception staff usually friendly, but ignored by some when entering the hotel. Room was quite small with frosted glass door to bathroom, which if you`re not staying with someone you know closely, then there`s nothing left to the imagination what you may be doing on the loo. The bed was comfortable and the bed sheets were clean, but be prepared for quite a bit of dust which seemed to circulate the room when the heater/blower was on. Also quite a bit of hair inside the shower plug trap. Although I had booked a breakfast for my partner and myself for the 2 mornings we were there, which is stated on my booking, we were told it was not booked and we could purchase a breakfast bag each morning at £6 a pop?? Overall, a pleasant short stay with no frills attached apart from the free wi fi which was quite fast

Disappointed that the room wasn`t cleaned or beds made although it was nice and clean. The room was basic but adequate not having a window in such a tiny room was a bit uncomfortable. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful

Very good location by King`s Cross Station but no window in the room, beds aren`t very comfortable and rooms don`t get cleaned unless you as for it. Not massive draw backs but something to be aware of when booking

"Mostly clean and friendly"

Pin mould in shower walls in room 5. Room 6 small but good. Very near St Pancras nice welcome. Nice staff. Continental breakfast £9!!! Too expensive so we ate somewhere else

"Room cramped. Shoe box size. "

The room was, despite a double bed, far too small for 2 people. No window, no kettle, just the basic minimum for sleeping. Good access to St Pancras and King`s Cross.

On arrival Ray could not have been more obliging. It was a real warm welcome to the hotel and to London. The room was comfy, clean and adequate though tea and coffee making facilities would have been much appreciated.

"Good hotel "

Was a nice hotel great continental breakfast hotel room was very compact but clean. The only thing was that the towels weren`t changed and we stayed 3 days and we were showering twice a day. But I`d definitely come back and stay again as its very central and handy for the station and underground for getting round London.

"Ideal location but would book room WITH a window next time "

Just beside kings cross station so ideal location, double room was ok, but would book room WITH a window next time for space. I couldn`t see the option to do this when I book the hotel/rail package but great website and first class train tickets were perfect, thank you

Rooms far too small, definitely not a power shower as described on website, far too much traffic noise poor sound proofing double glazing never got much sleep at all and no tea and coffee making facilities in room, very disappointing for price.

"Small but perfectly formed"

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. The room was small and we were unsure about not having a window but we hadn`t gone to London to sit in the room! For the length of time we were in the room it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags after checking out. We`d definitely stay there again.

"Looks BRAND NEW"

Staff were so friendly and accommodating lots of smiles. This done as Theatre break amazing value at Hotel . So clean and everything you need for overnight stay. I think we paid £10 per head for breakfast and the choice for continental exceptional 128523; provably elsewhere we would have paid double. Walk to theatre not far and believe me just book and walk its amazing value and great staff. Facility brilliant I definitely will book again .

"Lack of Hospitality"

My overall experience in this hotel was poor to say the least, rooms are small, missing storage areas for clothes and unless In an intimate relationship with a travel companion not appropriate, it`s noisy with poor sound proofing and the staff are rude, patronising and abrupt . The hotel website lends itself to being informative but it`s very misleading everything has a cost. £15 to check in early, £3 to leave a bag, Housekeeping only prepare rooms and bedding changes are self done with items supplied. I would not stay here again neither would I recommend it to anyone,

"Great location, clean, overall good"

Checkin good, room clean and warm but noisy from road outside. Window letting in traffic noise from traffic lights at side of building. Had to sleep in ear plugs. Breakfast staff, not enough on to cater for through put but food itself was good and value for money. Rooms would benefit from tea and coffee facilities though. Overall - would use your chain again.

"Magic Mike overnight stay"

Really close to Kings Cross. Small but very clean and everything you need. Very pleased. We had a room with no window which may be claustrophobic for some people do bear that in mind. Shower was very good. We also had breakfast which was an extra for us but cost £9 each and it was an excellent continental breakfast. As much as you wanted. All in all I would highly recommend as a train and rail package.

Really good hotel, comfortable, cosy rooms and close to all transport links. Breakfast is continental so no hot food just pastries fruit and yoghurt.

The reception staff were very pleasant. My guest reported that his room door was slack and that anybody could break in and the safe was not working. Neither of these faults were rectified. The rooms were fine, but there was absolutely no cleaning carried out in the four days we were there.

No windows , no wardrobe, no drawers in room. Very clean, staff very pleasant and helpful, great location. Breakfast nice but had to eat it off a tray, no plates. Very hostel, studenty!!. Overall, a clean base to explore but no luxuries.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Just one comment as 2 ladies in our late 70s we found the shower a bit difficult to use as the tray was very slippy when wet

A few ingrained stains on the bed linen but other than that hotel really good position near the train station, Would definitely use this hotel again
