Room was so clean and you couldn`t hear any road noise when in bed. Breakfast was quick, easy to help yourself and hot. Bar area was nice and relaxing in the evening. Close enough to the tourism attractions of London but far enough out of town to chill out when you want to. Would highly recommend.

"Moved to a different hotel with no notification"
I had booked to stay in the Tavistock Hotel only to arrive and be told I was actually staying in a different hotel and we had the to walk to it. I was pretty cross at this and think an email would have been good manners, especially since there was a tube station closer to the new hotel. The new hotel was the Imperial and part of the same group of hotels. It was quite basic and the decor could do with an upgrade but it was clean with comfy beds and lovely staff. The breakfast in the morning was as much as anyone could handle. All in all a satisfactory stay as all our needs were provided for at a good price. A little bit more communication would seal the deal for an excellent review.

OK room but very cheap coffee in packs in the room recommend bring your own hotel is ok we had a view over the square,shower was good and shower gel shampoo soap was good smallest tv i have ever had in the room. .the reception staff where good and fast everything was there. the breakfast was not very good coffee was stewed not much choice cheap bread for toast no rolls or much cold choice dinning room was packed and staff slow. a good hotel for 1 or 2 nights.

"Nicely run Hotel"
Just a 6 or 7 minute stroll from London Euston Station, The Tavistock is a clean and pleasent Hotel. With a polite and knowledgeable staff, and excellent bus services all around, this Hotel is a good base to explore London at your leisure.

Warm and clean room in a busy hotel catering for many nationalities. Front desk staff were very helpful with advice on Hop On bus tours and other transport options. Quiet area despite being minutes from busy thoroughfares with good access to train,bus and tube stations.

Looked more glamorous downstairs than the rooms were upstairs. Service was really nice all staff actually friendly. Breakfast felt a bit rushed.

Location was good. Hotel was not great. Rooms in serious need of upgrade Breakfast poor. Quede for 15 mins for breakfast

Catering was too focused on Indian food. The only alternative was to eat in the bar with a very limited menu. Not what we expected at all. Breakfast however was plentiful and good. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and rooms were well serviced and stocked with tea and toiletries etc. It was also very central and close to a tube station albeit in a very noisy location! Not good if you like a quiet night`s sleep! Staff very helpful and a problem with a blocked shower drain was resolved immediately.

"Great location for exploring London and very good value with train travel offer."
Room (7th floor) was was fine, though not spacious. But it was too warm even with windows open, so noise from traffic and late night revellers was disturbing. Due to our late first night arrival we tried a bar meal but wished we had not as it was very poor. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were pleasant & helpful.

Rooms need an overhaul and are small but they are clean, linen and beds are nice, shower works well. Breakfast was busy but did the job. Lounge area has been overhauled and is nice. No aircon so windows open and it`s a really busy, noisy area. Probably best to ask for rooms that open to the back.
