Lovely hotel in superb location eoom was clean with smart tv luckily we were on top floor overlooking tavistock Square, only downside was bed was a bit soft. We will return soon.

"Long weekend "
I had an absolutely amazing experience in this hotel. I would definitely recommend the Tavistock Hotel to all my friends. Staff went way and beyond to help me. The hotel is spotless and within 10 minutes from King`s Cross station and St. Pancras. Would definitely book here again in future.

Excellent location without paying the earth! First class breakfast served by very pleasant and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms with everything you could wish for. Although one request is for a bigger quilt! Particular thanks to housekeeping for a beautifully serviced room.

We had such a good stay and the staff made us feel so welcome and friendly. Also done birthday bits for me for my friends birthday which was so appreciated and thoughtful of the staff to do something like that. So I recommend and was such a lovely stay.

"A great 2 night stay, thoroughly recommend it!"
My friend and I stayed for 2 nights, 15 minutes walk to kings cross station, russell square tube around the corner.We had a lovely outlook of tavistock gardens.The hotel was spotless and all the staff were very welcoming and very helpful.Thanks for a great stay, couldnt fault it!

The hotel was clean the staff were very nice breakfast lovely, location was good. Only thing I would say is that maybe a little updating of carpet in bedroom and more plugs by bed.

The entrance and bar area off of the hotel are beautiful and it is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was served in a equally nice setting and was really nice, everything was lovely and clean and full availability of everything you`d expect. Our rooms however looked a little dated although clean, and suited a purpose. We had noise from the bowling alley and the rooms above us which disturbed our sleep. For this reason I would not stay again

We were quite happy with the hotel and the bar and breakfast. Regrettably, with the directives from government about social distancing closing the theatres, etc. due to the virus. there would be little to do and our show later in the week was cancelled. Worried about travel restrictions, we only stayed one of the three nights we were booked for. We have requested a partial refund from Direct Hotel for the two nights we were unable to stay. We would have liked to stay longer at the hotel and would probably return to the Tavistock hotel for any future visits to London.

Shower flooded bathroom. Very loud music until early hours. Waiting staff at breakfast spoke only to make guests and had loud conversations in their own language throughout the meal. We were not offered any hot drinks and had to find our own

"Comfort and quiet at a reasonable price."
Convenient location, good service, comfy beds and well-cooked English breakfast. Could have done with a hook on the bathroom door and extra towel rail; also, as a 76 year old, I would have felt safer with a grab rail and rubber mat in the shower. Would recommend the Tavistock and book there again.

Perfect location just a few minutes walk from Euston Station and about 20 minutes walk to the theatre district. First room allocated was not great, the room itself was fine but the view from the window was yuk, huge extract vents from presumably the kitchens directly outside the window (to be fair this might not bother some people) However a quick word at very helpful reception had us cheerfully moved to a lovely room at the front overlooking Tavistock Square. Rooms themselves were clean, well cared for and of a size and standard you would reasonably expect for a 3 Star hotel. All staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good and the hotel bar was nice and very fairly priced. No complaints at all, already planning our next visit.

Hotel was just what we needed. It was clean and we were wdlcomed in. Breakfast was good. Rooms were basic but only needed for sleeping so no complaints. Room cleaned and tidied while out plenty of hot water and the bath filled qui ky. Great inrtnet connection via the free WiFi.

Nice hotel in a great location.Our room and bathroom although small were comfortable and ok for an overnight stay. The bar restaurant was good and food nice. Only downfall was breakfast. Only fruit available was frozen mixed berries which unfortunately were still half frozen and cold rubbery eggs on the cooked breakfast.small problems that could make a big difference.
