"Very handy for what we wanted to do had children with us & they could play in near by park"

The staff where very helpful & friendly rooms could have been cleaner (ie dust under television stand) but would stay there again handy for London or Windsor which was what we required.

"Well worth considering"

Near Heathrow and right by trains to London should you want them. Handles lots of coach parties so aim to go for breakfast later rather than earlier if you can. Very good value for money.

"Lovely breakfast"

Bit noisy (near railway line) and the room could have been cleaner but comfortable and generally OK. Breakfast was lovely. Great value for a family stay.

It was similar to a busy canteen, impossible to get near the food. Big queues and a lot of pushing and shoving.

"We needed a cheap okay hotel near Heathrow, and this fitted the bill."

Beds very uncomfortable, but as only staying a night no point in complaining. Only one pillow per bed. Room was clean and basic as was the bathroom. Could have done with a little more shampoo/shower gel. We were pleased to find a vending machine on the floor, which meant as we had arrived late we could just get a quick drink without going to the bar. The receptionist was extremely courteous and helpful. If looking for a hotel near Heathrow again, we would definitely use St Giles again.

"Great location for stopover before travelling from Heathrow"

A good hotel with excellent service. Staff friendly and efficient. Food excellent and in plentiful supply. Downside, noisy rooms with traffic from Heathrow and other patrons in the hotel. Beds comfortable and plenty of room in the suite. Overall good value for money.

The Receptionist and manager on duty did their best to make us comfortable and enjoy our stay, I would recommend the hotel to anyone

I have more or less enjoyed the stay here and particularly the cuisine: My flight now depart`s on November 1, 2009 at 1120: I shall require a taxi to take me to Terminal three(3) for 0900: Thank you, Gordon Barber

We arrived at hotel at around 9.30pm for a one night stay to see our daughter off to New York the following day The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet breakfast was good and plenty of choice. We had a triple room and we found it to be quite spacious, only problem would be the beds not very comfortable. Overall for what we paid I consider it to be very good value.

"Fair . . . at best . . ."

While the hotel is conveniently located neart Heathrow and was quiet despite the proximity, the beds looked rumpled, the carpeting in our room had ripples, the tile grout in the shower was gross, there were easily visible stains on the wall below the mirror in the room and above the tile in the shower, and Internet access was an additonal 10 pounds. The breakfast host was pleasant but breakfast was mediocre at best. We did not have a car but, if we had, we would have had to pay extra for that. NOT a bargain ;-(

"Es un hotel correcto dado el precio que se paga. Limpio y atentos."

Hay que tener en cuenta que no esta cerca del centro de Londres. Pero si muy bien comunicaco por tren, desde la estacuion de Feltham (al lado del hotel) a la Estacion de Waterloo. Se tardan unos 30 minutos maximo, pero es muy comodo. Por la noche no hay nada de interes, pero en bus puedes ir a los pueblos o barrios cercanos (si coges el 285 direccion Kington) hay una calle con buenos y baartos restaurantes (italianos, orienrtales, e incluso uno Español). Esta muy cerca del aeropuerto de Heatrrow.

nice clean room once we got the right size - had to be moved due to not enough beds room was booked for 3 but was only big enough for two. Breakfast was good but had to leave early for airport on 2nd morning and so misssed out on food as restraunt didnt open till 6.30 over all pleasant enough stay friendly staff and close to railwas station

The word that comes to mind is "adequate". Carpet and tub dirty. Restaurant service slow and a little "snarly". Won`t go there again.

"We had an enjoyable stay after, we were moved to non smoking accommodation as booked."

The hotel was in a good location, the staff were friendly. The only problem we had was that we had booked two rooms in non smoking, and unfortunately the rooms we were given were smoking rooms. When we complained, we were told that the hotel was full and that they would try and move us the next day. So our first night was not very good and the children did not sleep much because of the dreadful smell of smoke. The next day we were moved to much better rooms which smelt better and the rest of our stay was great. The breakfast was excellent, we also tried the restaurant at night which was excellent. I would stay there again but I would have to double check that we were in non smoking rooms.

"Wonderful staff at front desk!"

I stayed here as a inexpensive hotel option near Heathrow, to prevent the hassle of trying to get to the airport on the underground during morning commute time. The hotel was extremely convenient to a regular train station (2 minute walk). I thought I had read there was a shuttle to Heathrow, turned out to be a local bus that left just across the street. The staff at the front desk could not have been more helpful with that, with info on where to go for a run nearby etc. Hope they are paying the staff well!

"Over all the stay was wonderful."

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even before our arrival, when we called to get info on the area, train service, and other things. The second we walked in the door, they were ready to assist our family of four. We did not want to stay in the city of London, and we are very pleased that we chose St Giles. They were very accomendating to us as well as the children.

"Great Hotel for the Price"

Fantastic value. I was expecting alot worse for the price I was paying and was really surprised to find a good clean hotel room with all the things you`d expect. However Parking was £1 more than quoted by hotlesdirect. I`d definately stay agian

You need to re-word your joining instructions as the 285 bus DOES NOT depart from outside any terminal, passing the St Giles Hotel, but from the Central Bus Station, Bay 20..this took me some time of waiting outside Terminal 2, for a non arriving bus..before a friendly Toppa Driver told me that it did not go from outside the terminal, but that I needed to walk over to the Central Bus Station. As I am disabled, it was difficult for me to walk that far- and it was also awkward for my guest, who had arrived from Kenya and was in transit to America, to find the bus..as he had yor email booking form as his guide...and we met at the hotel - once we had found it.

"Average Hotel"

Would not return to this hotel, it was very very average. Check in and check out was fine and efficent. The rooms were ok nothing special. The cleaners were knocking on the door at half eight in the morning wanting to know when we were checking out. Breakfast was good but the manager on duty was far from friendly. It was ok for the rates paid but will try somewhere different next time.
