"Great Stay"

Stayed one night with my husband and grandson. Arrived by car and paid £7 to park. Check in was straightforward and quick. Room was very clean and comfortable, sofabed was already made up for our grandson. Nice bathroom with plenty of towels. Breakfast was plentiful, yoghurts, fruit, croissant, rolls, scrambled egg, sausages, muffins, something for all tastes. All in all a very nice hotel and we have already booked to stay again next month! Well done Holiday Inn Express.

"Good value"

Not the most scenic of settings but ideally located for RideLondon 100 cycle event - easy access to start at Olympic Park and a handy ferry point for return journey. Very reasonable price for 2 adults and 2 children (they were in effect free). Room not available till 3 pm was only issue but with check out at 12 this is understandable. Car parking very reasonable for London @ £7 for over 24 hours.

"The Staff were always ready to assist."

I was there for 4 Nights with my family but for 3 Nights the Air Conditioner didn`t work and there was much heat at night, Thanks to Paulina (The duty Manager) that moved us to a better room on the last night. The staff were all good and always ready to render assistance.

"Overall decent hotel for money,Be prepared for a walk from the O2 to the hotel."

We enjoyed our stay,the hotel was clean and tidy.It is a little walk from the hotel to the O2,a good 15 mins with luggage!!There is a bus available.The room was adequate,not the biggest for 2 adults and 2 teenager children,who shared a not very comfy sofa bed.Double bed comfy,bathroom nice.Breakfast was acceptable,not the best.Thought it strange no bacon,just sausages,scrambled egg and beans.No toaster!!We did have to wait for more plates,then more milk,then fruit juice run out,but overall this was good budget hotel for the money.Would probably book a hotel a bit more central next time.

"A good stay"

This hotel does what it says on the tin.It is budget but the rooms are fine,the location good for the O2 and you will start the day with a good plentiful breakfast.Book it!

A great budget hotel with super helpful staff. Bit of walk to get anywhere but if 15 minutes of walking is ok , this is a great place to stay in Grenwhich.

Great location for O2 Arena - within easy walking distance. However, improvement could be made with buffet-style breakfast and room this year was a little "tired". Otherwise, clean and tidy and would stay again.

I would highly recommend the hotel very central for the 02 arena and if you fancy a trip to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark if you like history that is, it`s highly recommended, especially on a dry and sunny day, we had a lovely time.

"Good location for O2 venue. Average hotel compared to other similar price bracket."

B`fast-hot buffet was a little disappointing - scrambled egg, sausage & beans - that`s it - little underwhelming when most other hotels also provide fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, has browns and bacon...as a minimum - many hotels eg Premier Inn provides eggs to order. Room 311 - was very basic, no drawers, just shelving - just shows done on cheap. Desk lamp wasn`t working (noticed on last day). Shower curtain should be replaced as had old blood stain on - not great. Staff were lovely though and reception area/bar convenient for a night time drink before retiring. Using your room key card to operate the lift was sometimes challenging as it wasn`t always responsive so not the best system but the lifts were working fine, no breakdowns etc. the walk to the O2 was approx 10-15 mins depending on the heat-we had 4very hot days so tendered to saunter as in no rush but could be done in quicker time. Would stay again only for the location but rooms and Breaky could do with an upgrade.

"Reliable holiday inn"

Clean, pleasant staff, reliable company where you can rely on a good standard. Would definitely book again. Good position for the O2, river crossing, underground, buses and cable cars.

"Comfortable stay - good for the O2"

Quick check in. Comfortable & clean room. Breakfast was above average. This hotel was chosen for its position near the O2. A fairly short walk to/from. The same walk in the morning for train/tube.

"Good location, lovely clean & comfy rooms, poor breakfast"

We had a lovely stay in what is a very conveniently located hotel for the O2. Rooms were clean & comfy with a great view of the city. Parking was reasonably priced £7 but not free as you might expect for paying guests who payed £174 for 2 rooms. Staff vere helpful and friendly, but buffet breakfast was disappointing. This is the first time in 25 years of staying in UK hotels that bacon was not on the menu. All in all the Holiday Inn Express served it`s purpose and we would use it again.

"A great stay"

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Stayed here while seeing robbie Williams in concert at O2. Really impressed with all facilities. Rooms were comfy, easy check in and amazing, friendly staff who couldn`t do enough for you. The breakfast was lovely. Definitely be staying here again.

Good position for O2 and Greenwich North Tube (20 minute walk). Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast included. Good bar and seating area. Room spacious (for London) and well equipped. Large car park and easy to find off A2.

My wife and I went to see a show at the O2 Arena and the Holiday Inn Express was close and convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Very good except for lifts on arrival!"

Regarding the lifts..... We were not the only guests at the time to become very frustrated with the lift operation or lack of it! Having entered the lift we placed our registration card in slot, removed it and pressed the required floor number only to find that anyone calling for the lift overrode the command. This went on 5 or 6 times and eventually we gave up and walked up the 5 floors. Frustrating as this was for us there was another older couple who were not relishing the thought of having to climb the stairs. If one of the passengers had been slightly incapacitated this could have been a potential problem. We, in the lift, were annoyed but so were those who were requiring the services of the lift at each floor (G,1 and 2) as our lift answered their call each time. It did become a laughing matter.

"Clean bright and very reasonable"

Great for a family trip to London.Inexpensive although clean bright and very friendly. Breakfast was lovely and eating area clean and well organized. Staff were polite and helpful and rooms were simple although perfectly adequate. Only slight down side was its quite a distance from central London. Taxi to Greenwich underground was only £7 which was better than a 15min walk. Tube was around 20min journey. would definitely stay again.

"Very happy with our stay at Holiday Inn Express."

Fantastic hotel, great staff very helpfull. Spacious rooms with a proper TV. Venally clean and well maintained bathroom. Overall really enjoyed our stay and I`m normally hard to please.

"Lovely hotel"

I went to the hotel for a concert so it was an overnight stay. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the size. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice addition. The breakfast was brilliant and free and the free wifi was definitely useful. It was about a 5-10 min walk to the O2 which you could see from the building so the placement was perfect very happy with the service and I would recommend.

Great location for O2; gentle 15 minute walk. Room to a good standard with adequate in-room provisions. Staff helpful and friendly. Good "free" breakfast

"Good location for the O2 . Average for the price . Overall disappointed. "

Room was average . It`s located near busy roads we were on the top floor (7th) and the windows are wooden with a vent at the top . We were unable to close the vent and the road noise kept us awake . If you book bed and breakfast then don`t expect to get a full English as tradition as been thrown away , as they don`t want to offend anyone by having bacon on the menu. But they also don`t have mushrooms tomatoes or any meats if you want a continental . As I`m british I was very disappointed with the choice and the management discussion . Hence I will not be stopping again .

I had a great stay. The room was very clean and tidy. Fresh clean towels and everything was in top condition. The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was lovely, hot and fresh. Will definitely be staying here again

Fantastic hotel. Stunning views. Lovely rooms. Soap and shower gel / shampoo is supplied in thr rooms which is great. Breakfast is lovely. Staff are polite and friendly. The beds are very comfy. The TVs are actual TVs not just tiny units. Air con in the room is great. The showers are easy to use. Terrific hotel. I will recommend it every time

Convenient, Clean and Pleasant Hotel. Staff Very Helpful and Friendly and very Nice Breakfast. Little bit of a Trek on foot from Tube once find the right road !! but manageable. Overall very good 8 out of 10 I would say and would certainly use again.
